maybe my top dining experience for my week in Rome. the fish is delicious (tuna, sea bass especially). but the people make this place. such a charming, thoughtful staff who at least at lunch were filleting the fish and hand making dishes in the main room inside. recommend going a day before to get a spot the next day. lunch is easier. one of the few non-tourist populated spots in trastevere, too.

The experience was wonderful. We chose several different dishes, and since we don't speak Italian, we were having difficulty understanding the menu, but the staff were very helpful and polite, helping us understand everything. We had a wonderful and very pleasant evening. I highly recommend it.

12/08/2026: The pizza was delicious and reasonably priced, but when we ordered focaccia bread, they gave us pizza dough that wasn't real focaccia. Overall, though, we enjoyed the atmosphere and the location was good, near the square.
12/08/2026: Tiny room between tables, I think for o second to take a bite from the guys plate Right next to me, it's like take from my own plate, but food was good !!! Not allowed to smoke, this is for smokers 🤔
