23/07/2026: Had dinner there. Three persons ordered pasta and one person had ox tail. Portion is small but food is comforting and tasty. Small entrees left room for desserts. Need to be patient with serving.

29/04/2026: We went here on the recommendation of friends, and it was excellent!
From the ambiance to the service and cuisine, everything was excellent; the carbonara was spectacular, as was the grilled cuttlefish.
The owner welcomes you and makes you feel at home; he's friendly and helpful... oh, and mopping up the bread is a must!
We'll definitely be back!
21/04/2026: A delightful experience at this Roman restaurant. Each dish was prepared with care and attention to the ingredients and raw materials.
The amatriciana is definitely worth trying, as is the traditional oxtail stew. The artichoke is very delicious. They also offer a wide selection of wines.
The owner, Roman chef Carlo Pellizzardi, is very kind, friendly, and professional, as is the entire wait staff.
The prices are average, perfectly in line with the quality and quantity of what's served.
We'll definitely return to try the other dishes on the menu.

07/08/2026: Impeccable service, very pleasant, friendly, and professional staff. We arrived at 3:30 pm as a couple and were able to eat immediately in a cheerful atmosphere.
Personally, I found the spaghetti carbonara to be a real treat; I highly recommend it.
The restaurant is tucked away from the crowds on a small street.
07/08/2026: We ate here during a trip to Rome, and honestly, it was the best choice. The quality, value, and price were all excellent. The food was delicious, the service was quick, and they have air conditioning, which was very welcome depending on the time of year (it was August). Definitely a place to return to.

11/05/2026: This restaurant is immediately outside of the exit of the Villa Gregoriana gift shop. You can dine next to an ancient Roman temple, which is stunning. It’s right on the cliff, so you can see amazing views of waterfalls and the nature of Tivoli. The food is amazing, as is the service. Service and food quality aren’t exactly issues when it comes to dining in Italy (in my experience, at least). The walls outside have plaques of all the royalty who have dined there, and there are also large pieces of ruins from even older structures of that area to see. It’s a gorgeous place with great food. You’ll love it.

12/08/2026: Excellent lunch here on our short trip to Rome! Food, service and atmosphere were great. Felt like a cozy neighborhood place, not a touristy joint. The hand made pasta with cow cheek Carbonara was Incredible and the house red wine and tiramisu didn’t disappoint! Will eat here again if we have the chance!
11/08/2026: Best carbonara I’ve ever had in my life. We booked this as a treat for our first night in Rome, and we sat outside as the sun set. The service was brilliant, the staff were so friendly and attentive. The house wine was completely delicious we couldn’t stop drinking it!
I got the carbonara, both of which were so unique in flavour and were beyond delicious. For our mains my boyfriend got the veal shank (very rich and the meat would melt in your mouth! Big portion too) and I got the tomato meatballs (incredible tomato and the meatballs were insanely good). The tiramisu was 10/10. Would highly highly recommend! Our favourite dinner out of our entire week of staying here (and we did lots of research to book dinners etc)

04/07/2026: Fantastic, simple, authentic trattoria that never disappoints. Today they were offering ricotta and lemon ravioli topped with saffron, truly excellent! Excellent main courses and side dishes, efficient and fast service. Kudos across the board, even for the price (we spent less than €30 each and left feeling full!)
Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.
01/07/2026: The chops were a 10, the meatballs a 10, the breaded cutlet a 10. I recommend it to all Spaniards. The food is excellent and there's a variety of menus. If I return to Rome, I will definitely eat here again.

09/08/2026: We were able to walk in without a reservation in May, though we did have to wait about ten minutes. The staff were efficient and kind, the food was divine, and the decor was all quite fun. I would make a point to eat here again if I visit Rome again. The best food we had in the city!

The tagliatelle, Pachino tomatoes, mussels, and pecorino cheese are a must-try.
Every dish was a spectacle, top-notch quality.
We'll definitely be back, just as they returned to the table next to the Americans after eight years.

08/08/2026: The atmosphere was great! The food was even better - excellent. The workers were very friendly and provided great service. The only reason I give service a four is the server asked for a tip. We traveled Italy for 9 days and he was the first and only server to ask for a tip. It made it very uncomfortable and you felt pressured to give a tip with him standing there.

27/05/2026: There were 4 of us, saw an outdoor table for 2 and thought we could have a glass of wine and a beer - and asked for a couple of extra chairs. Immediately another small table and 2 chairs were brought. We got our wine and beer, and after a little coziness and a look at other guests' plates - and the sweet host family's behavior - we decided to eat there. Pasta alla Vongole, fried artichokes, fish with fennel and several delicious fish dishes. It was really delicious and a clear recommendation if you like good ingredients, deliciously prepared food and good service.
23/05/2026: Anyone who loves fish and seafood will be thrilled. The quality and preparation are excellent. It's definitely worth eating at Ripa12. The restaurant itself is also very appealing, and the service is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed a superb meal.

02/08/2026: On the recommendation of a dear friend, I tried VII Coorte in the Trastevere area, not far from Piazza Trilussa, and it was absolutely worth it. The food was all excellent; the seafood dinner was top-notch. The place is welcoming, with a lovely outdoor terrace, perfect for a quiet dinner with friends. I don't have any dishes to recommend because everything was so good. A truly positive experience, we'll definitely be back!

The homemade gnocchi are truly excellent, and the portions are generous, allowing you to really enjoy them. The supplí are also very good; the only problem is knowing when to stop before you eat dozens! 😂
The servers are also very friendly and know how to welcome tourists.
