Wonderful, one of the few real places left where you can experience the true Rome that's disappearing.
The food is excellent and they're excellent. My friend and I had a great time and will definitely be back. Thanks guys!

Don't worry if the place is empty at 7:30 pm; the Romans don't arrive until later – and that's a good sign. The service has a slightly understated charm, but the food is excellent, with sauces that are anything but ordinary. Truly Roman, truly Trastevere, far from the tourist crowds!
And before that, don't miss Bernini's last masterpiece across the street in San Francesco a Ripa: the orgiastic face of the dying Ludovica Albertoni, in the left-hand side chapel.

Delicious, authentic Italian food in a family atmosphere. A rare find in the touristy Trastevere district, where tourists are often lured into restaurants by touts. The portions were rather small, but the food was of good quality. I'd gladly come back.

The place seems unassuming at first glance, but it's often the tastiest in those places, so we decided to give it a try ;) A wonderful restaurant, delicious home-cooked food prepared by the owner... words fail to describe the deliciousness!!! And the calamari... I've never had such good food in my life, and I've had it several times. I recommend it for its exquisite home-cooked Roman cuisine.

Friendly staff, not expensive, tasty Italian classics. They were able to accommodate a large group of 12 people last minute on a Saturday night and put some tables for us together outside.

Typical Roman cuisine! We were very satisfied; the food was wonderful! We had artichokes and calamari as a starter, and gnocchi and rabbit as a main course! Authentic Roman cuisine! We will definitely come back!!!

The restaurant is located right at the beginning of a lively street in the trendy, youthful Trastevere district, where many locals go in the evenings for a glass of wine.
As a tourist, you have to be a bit adventurous to step into this place—it’s definitely not a tourist trap. It’s a small eatery with a menu only in Italian, and the waiters don’t speak English. However, if you’re willing to embrace that, you won’t be disappointed.
They offered a three-course Easter menu (we visited on Easter Sunday evening).
You could choose an appetizer, a main course (pasta), and a final course (protein).
First, we were served a delicious, generous, and varied charcuterie board. Then came the pasta: lamb sauce for me and wild boar for my companion—both very tasty. The only minor criticism was that the lamb sauce contained quite a few pieces of meat with bones, which meant we couldn’t eat everything.
Finally, I had pork and my companion had beef—both dishes were also excellent.
The waiters didn’t speak any English at all, but they were friendly, and by pointing at the menu, we got exactly what we ordered. We weren’t charged a cover fee, and for two three-course meals plus 0.5L glasses of red wine, the total came to under €100.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic Italian food and want to avoid tourist traps.
Very traditional Italian experience with amazing food. The meals are super delicious and worth going back for
