11/03/2026: We booked a table for four at Perilli al Flaminio, but unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. Upon entry, we were greeted with obvious irritation by the owner, as if the arrival of guests was a problem. Despite our reservation, the welcome was cold and disorganized. Service throughout the evening was cumbersome. We had to call the staff multiple times just to receive menus, place our orders, and ask for the wine list. We initially ordered a bottle of wine that arrived by mistake. After requesting the correct one, a bottle of chilled white remained on the counter while the staff continued serving the other tables, leaving it there for quite some time before finally bringing it to our table, no longer at the correct temperature. The main courses arrived reasonably quickly, but unfortunately, two of them were only lukewarm. It must be said that the food overall was good, and it's a real shame that the quality of the cuisine is compromised by such disorganized service. The most surprising thing, however, was the owner's attitude. He was consistently arrogant, rude, and clearly annoyed by having to serve customers. This behavior toward his guests was truly shocking and completely out of place in a restaurant. It's a real shame, because the place is quaint and the food has potential. However, with such rude and disorganized service, the overall experience was very disappointing. Unfortunately, after such an evening, we won't be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant.

09/02/2025: Mi presento con due zii passati da Roma da Ulisse di domenica alle 13:30, senza troppe speranze. Premetto che era la mia prima volta lì e non avevo idea di che tipo di locale fosse, speravo solo non fosse troppo turistico. Dopo neanche 10 minuti di attesa ci fanno sedere alla sala sotterranea, un ambiente con luci soffuse e atmosfera rilassante. Il servizio è stato impeccabile e garbatissimo, il cibo ottimo e il conto più che onesto. I miei zii sono stati felicissimi e mi chiedono sempre quando ci torniamo. Consiglio il fiore di zucca, davvero squisito.

30/12/2025: The food was good, but when ask for the bill they charged us extra for things we did not order. Adding 30 euros to our bill. So if you come here make sure you all for a detailed bill and do not pay before reviewing it!!!

08/12/2025: Always a pleasure Even today, my husband Alfredo and I ate wonderful mixed grill and tripe at Romoletto. Everyone was very kind and very quick despite the crowds. You are a guarantee.

01/01/2026: It was not possible to use the 20% discount with the fork.. as the prices were increased for the 31st dinner by 20% (yellow post-it) on the menu, without prior notice.

14/01/2026: The service was impeccable 👌🏻 the waitress is kind, speaks English, asked if everything was okay. The vibes were out of this world: family operated, welcoming, fairly clean. If you're looking for authenticity, traditional food made with love then you're at the right place. The portions are HUGE and the prices are okay. I loved every second at this place. Truly a hidden gem🥰

01/02/2026: Fair prices and good products, I would give 5 stars if it weren't for a bad experience I had one time in particular: I was standing in line for a while and when I started to order, the lady on staff started taking an order from another gentleman who was behind me, skipping the line, and made a fairly large order, finishing off all the pastries I wanted to order.

27/08/2025: Highly recommended place, very close to St. Peter's Square (on Via Borgio Pio). Great value. The portions are generous, so you won't leave hungry. The atmosphere is spectacular, and the staff is extremely friendly. They speak Spanish. Both the pasta dishes and the pizza we ate were spectacular. Without a doubt, this place isn't to be missed.

10/01/2026: Roman cuisine with excellent value. I recommend the tonnarelli cacio e pepe. Friendly and efficient staff.

27/12/2025: The food is undoubtedly excellent, and the quality of the ingredients is evident. However, I've noticed with regret that year after year the portions are getting smaller while the prices are rising. Paying €2.50 for a single Ascoli olive and €14 for a Margherita seems excessive, despite the quality of the ingredients. It's a real shame, because the food is worth it, but the current quantities leave a bitter taste.

14/03/2026: I have to say that under this new management, the restaurant is a cut above the rest. The staff is very kind and helpful. I ate really well, rediscovering those traditional Roman dishes of the past, and the meat was truly tender and flavorful!!! The bill was affordable. I recommend it to everyone. Congratulations guys!
