03/07/2025: We found it by chance and it was the best thing in Rome, the waiters were very nice and attentive and the food was spectacular, from the risotto of the day to the panna cota. If we return to Rome we will definitely repeat.

The food was well above average, the service was impeccable, and the price was fair for the quality of the food. It's a shame you can't have dinner after the theater, which is just a stone's throw away. Let's find a solution 😀

06/07/2025: Family dinner at Calice d'Oro the other day and it was a nice re-discovery. In fact, I used to dine there in the 80s, when I was still a student, with my father and my siblings. The garden is very pleasant, and the service is simple but super kind. The menu is not extensive (which personally I appreciate and prefer) but has plenty excellent choices of the typical roman cuisine. We went for the alici fritte (fried sardines) really good, filetti di spigola all'arancia (sea bass fillets marinated in orange juice) very nice, and then amatriciana, a classic, cacio e pepe, another classic, and tagliolini vongole cozze e bottarga, delicate and satisfying. Gelato to close the dinner. The price is reasonable, about 25 euro each.

08/08/2025: The food was excellent and the service was top-notch! The only downside was the price range found in a guidebook... actually, you'd eat for €45 per person rather than €12... The carbonara was delicious, and the pasta with vongole was too 😋 Otherwise, we ate really well, and the portions, despite looking small, were just enough! 😀 Here are some photos to whet your appetite ;)

08/08/2025: The pasta was delicious and it was cooked well, but it was strong and sticky! I was shocked and thought maybe my food wasn't cooked. Even my friend's food was the same, and it wasn't fully cooked! The place has a great location, but it's not for eating at all. The service is good. It takes an hour for someone to come to you.

20/06/2025: A wonderful discovery! At the Dal Laziale restaurant you can immediately feel the authentic Roman atmosphere: warm welcome, impeccable service and lots of friendliness. The traditional dishes are truly excellent. Even the second courses and side dishes respect the true Roman LAZIALE cuisine generous portions I will definitely be back!

30/04/2025: La mejor comida de nuestro tiempo aquí en Roma. Teníamos la pasta con trufa negra, espaguetis con salchicha y cerdo con manzana. Todos estábamos muy contentos con nuestra comida. El servicio fue eficiente, el hijo del cocinero dirige el servicio y agrega un gran toque personal. Definitivamente volveré:)

26/04/2025: Sentí que iba a ir a la casa de mi tío italiano para la cena del domingo. Este lugar es increíble. Muy amable y amable propietario y personal. Servicio de primera categoría, y lo más importante la comida era increíble. Un montón de opciones de vino y todo fenomenal en nuestra experiencia también. Te permiten visitar la bodega al final de tu comida, que también es una historia genial. Francissco nos regaló una botella de vino para nuestra luna de miel, así que después de mantenerlo a salvo durante toda una noche de bar saltando me dejé caer inmediatamente al entrar en mi habitación de hotel. Nunca hago reseñas, pero este lugar fue el punto culminante de nuestras experiencias gastronómicas y estoy tan contento de que nos detuvimos en. Si usted tiene la suerte de conseguir una mesa aquí, entonces usted está en un placer.

17/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante a cena con gli amici, devo dire personale un po' goffo, non ci hanno fatto nenache assaggiare il vino rosso ordinato. Antipasto di salumi e formaggi non malvagio, ho preso la psata alla picchiapo' e devo dire una vera delusione praticamente insapore, ho assaggiato anche la carbonare niente di che anche il guanciale un po' bruciato. Giudizio negativo non ci tornerò. Prezzo sui 33 a persona unica nota positiva, amari offerti.

11/06/2025: Il menù de "I Fraschettari" risponde perfettamente a ciò che vi aspettereste dal nome: cucina romanesca, atmosfera informale, piatti abbondanti. Il cortile esterno con le panche di legno è un must nelle giornate di bel tempo, e il personale è sempre cortese. Consigliatissimo.

28/05/2025: The fixed lunch menu for 12 euros is honest and in line with expectations, but just order something off the menu and the prices immediately skyrocket without any criteria. A small bowl of strawberries charged 7 euros is really excessive, especially without any price displayed. 26/07/2025: This place was fine for the touristy area. We got a rec from a server at a bar that it was a good place for pizza but we were a bit underwhelmed by both the pizza and the lasagna.
