20/05/2025: Piacevole scoperta in un quartiere ancora vivibile e poco conosciuto. Locale molto spazioso con ampio spazio esterno. Atmosfera vivace e familiare da osteria di quartiere. Personale amichevole e spontaneo. Cibo curato e di buona qualità. Sicuramente ci tornerò in una prossima sera d’estate.

Roman cuisine done well.
We ate excellent pasta alla gricia, amatriciana, and a fantastic artichoke alla giudia. The desserts were excellent.
I recommend it.

15/02/2026: An old-fashioned restaurant where everything is in the right place, just like in a welcoming and rustic country house. The food is surprisingly good, especially the fish dishes, which are truly top-quality. And what can I say about the desserts? They have a dozen, all homemade, and all truly mouth-watering. And, in the best tradition of old-fashioned trattorias, the prices are incredibly affordable. I forgot to mention the first courses... Excellent! A truly delightful surprise, and one I'll definitely be trying again soon.

22/03/2026: Since the management changed, I'm sorry to say, but it's no longer the Frantoio it once was. Amatriciana with raw sauce, and finding a piece of guanciale is practically like looking for a needle in a haystack. Grilled lamb was a mini portion, half-burned and unseasoned. For dessert, we ordered the Nutella crumble, which had nothing to do with Nutella except a few drizzles of it dripping over a lot of cream. Well, I'd rather spend a little more and go to a place where the food is better. Again, I'm disappointed because before the change of management, the food was excellent. Aside from Paolo, who was always polite and courteous, the service also left a lot to be desired. It's a shame.

12/03/2026: Very good, but crazy prices! The meat was averagely priced, other items like the liqueurs were way out of line.
12/03/2026: Excellent cuisine, the atmosphere is reminiscent of ancient Rome.
The service is impeccable, the dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. The puntarelle are amazing!! 🤩
The only comment, alas, is that the prices are a bit too high for an "inn."

15/03/2026: I've been to this pastry shop and I have to say it was a truly wonderful discovery.
The products are incredibly fresh and the selection is truly vast: there are so many delicious things, both sweet and savory, so there's truly something for everyone. It's the perfect place for both a delicious breakfast and a snack during the day.
Another strong point is definitely the staff, always very kind, friendly, and helpful, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.
Highly recommended! I'll definitely be back. 🍰🥐

28/01/2026: Nice atmosphere, excellent service, the waitress was always available for clarification and very knowledgeable, the food was excellent, and in my opinion good value for money. The artichokes were truly amazing, and the amatriciana was good. They also have a decent wine cellar.
15/01/2026: I've been going to this restaurant for years because it's truly a guarantee! Excellent food, and the owner is very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

The carbonara, amatriciana, prosciutto, and artichoke we ordered were all delicious.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was great and the service was excellent.
I'd definitely like to visit again.

14/03/2026: Consistently great experiences at Da Secondo. The food is always good, prices extremely reasonable and the service is fantastic, with a special mention to Matteo who looked after us for our post 6 Nations celebration. Highly recommend
06/01/2026: Near Piazza Navona. The tiramisu was very good. I also recommend the focaccia to go with it.
