Roberto and his extended family are a plus for the area and for the EUR district... why shouldn't there be a place like this? Believe me!
Trattoria/pizzeria in Vitinia, simple and rustic, yet welcoming.
The atmosphere was casual, and the waiters were helpful, despite being very busy (the place was packed).
We ordered two suppli, a margherita (thin Roman-style pizza, really good), spaghetti carbonara
(not bad), and a mixed fried fish dish, good but dry.
The only slightly negative note was the perhaps excessive wait for the fried fish, but that's to be expected, considering the place, as mentioned, was packed.
The prices were very reasonable.
We'll definitely be back.

A restaurant/pizzeria with very reasonable prices. During peak hours, you may have to wait to be seated because it's very busy. Good food, and friendly, fast waiters. They also show Serie A matches.

A restaurant/pizzeria as it once was, no frills and full of substance. Excellent Roman-style pizza, rich in toppings and crispy. The kitchen offers amazing pasta dishes; I recommend the pappardella el cinghiale or the rigatoni alla pajata (made just right), or even the spaghetti alle vongole (spaghetti with clams) (lovely creamy and not washed out and floating in the oil).
The Roman dishes, like beans and pork rind or oxtail stew, are also excellent.
As for the price, you pay the right amount (even less than usual) and you'll leave feeling satisfied.
