The pizzeria of yesteryear! As we Romans like it, well-cooked and well-seasoned bread and the supplì in addition to the fried foods and that's it! But the pizza is excellent. Well done

We ate supli mixed starters and brusche mixed fried starters and the focaccia with chicory which is spectacular, I recommend it and then the excellent pizzas. The staff were excellent and always available. ADVISE.

Excellent trattoria in Vitinia. Top quality food expertly prepared by the chef. Fried anchovies and wood-fired lamb with exceptional potatoes. The first ones are good. The bottled wine needs to be improved, perhaps with labels from Lazio. Service and environment right for the place. Excellent price. I returned after two weeks to try the first courses, unfortunately this time the pasta with wild boar and the one with pajata were not to our liking due to the preparation of the sauces. The tail ordered for second had a sour sauce with little flavor and freshness. There's no two without three and I hope to be luckier next time.

Personale accogliente, cibo BUONISSIMO, parcheggio facilmente trovabile. Tempi di attesa giusti e minimizzati e poi il conto più che giusto. Consigliato e da tornarci assolutamente!

La cucina è buona, i piatti saporiti , ma ci sono stati alcuni dettagli che non ci hanno soddisfatti: la mancanza del menù, l'insalata di mare non all'altezza della situzione e tutti i piatti conditi con quantità industriale di olio. Per il resto tutto soddisfacente.

06/04/2024: Excellent discovery. Typical tavern of Roman cuisine. There are two shifts to be seated (20 or 22). Very fast service, we took the courgette flowers stuffed with fresh mozzarella and anchovies as an appetizer, a very good fillet of cod, as a first course, I recommend clams and courgette flowers, and gray cod, then we continued with the Giudia style artichokes, beautiful, crunchy and with flavors and to finish meatballs. The fried food is perfect and not at all oily, the bread for making the slipper is also good. The house wine is also good. Honest prices

Vecchia Osteria del Gelsomino

07/04/2024: We were there last night. It was the first time. We asked to change tables and they obliged. Very kind. Delicious lard and chicory bruschetta, excellent gnochhi and linguine with butter and anchovies. Lamb as delicious as tiramisu! I'm sorry but I forgot to take photos, we were too hungry! Very nice location. Average prices. Highly recommended.
06/04/2024: Nice typical restaurant, 2 steps from San Pietro. Traditional Roman food but also dishes for less demanding palates, however cooked with family attention and above all, well! There is also homemade pasta: we had the tomato and basil gnocchi, very good! The rigatoni alla gricia are fabulous. Above all, however, the kindness of the landlady, emblem of the popular sympathy of Rome that the whole world envies us.
