15/04/2026: An iconic spot in the small square of Torre a Mare, Osteria del Porto is a must-visit for seafood lovers, perfect for dining while gazing out at the sea. Although the service is lacking, the quality of the food and generous portions will not disappoint. The rice, potatoes, and mussels are a must-try; it's simply heartwarming.

10/04/2026: Compared to the other restaurant in Bari city, it's completely different. Very basic, with some dishes served on plastic plates. It's true that you have to clear the table afterwards, but in Bari city, you leave everything inside on a shelf and the staff picks it up. In Torre a Mare, the containers are separated outside and the customer has to pick up their own. The only downside is that the prices are the same but the service is different.

Stylish, not an Italian osteria but a modern restaurant (I know, we all want it super local). The hand-painted porcelain was truly ingenious. If you're in Ostuni, you absolutely have to go there.

23/01/2026: I went here with my boyfriend on New Year's Eve. There's no fixed New Year's Eve menu; we ordered what we liked from the menu and everything was delicious. The veal rolls with tomato sauce reminded me of Sunday lunches at my grandmother's. Celebrating New Year's Eve at 'Scante was like celebrating at home, thanks to the welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, the extremely kind and friendly staff, and the authentic flavors of our region. Highly recommended!

04/04/2026: I rarely write a review while sitting at a table enjoying cantuccini with a house amaro. The owner greeted us with smiles and a warm welcome. We left it up to him, starting with a variety of appetizers, generous in size... so much so that, despite our hunger, they practically filled us up. But we couldn't leave without trying the wonderful orecchiette with turnip tops, brought directly to the table from the pan. The atmosphere and food are distinctive, where we finally return to the origins of simple cuisine, seasoned with love! Thank you so much for the wonderful lunch!

The restaurant isn't particularly large, but it's very welcoming. The service is quick and attentive to your needs. There's free parking nearby, which is great for a city like Merano, where parking is usually difficult. If I had to offer constructive criticism, the only one I can think of is the pepper on the lobster linguine; it may have masked the flavor a bit. Otherwise, everything was perfect! The prices are more than fair. I'll definitely be back.

31/03/2026: I feel sorry for the chefs, because many of the food was good, but due to the rudeness of the staff, the food takes a back seat. First of all, they offered us to sit (despite having a reservation) at a small table next to the house and the entrance door. But how can they put a table there? Do people have to climb up on me to pay while I'm eating? When we asked for a table inside, the waiter called the other one and the other one said "yes, but they have to wait outside" as if we weren't there, but oh well, we waited outside, people leaving, no one coming in, 20/30 minutes and my companion came in to ask if they forgot about us, they took us to a table and we ordered, meanwhile the guy who was perhaps the owner (he was at the cash register) was smoking IQos while clearing the tables next to the people eating, my companion asked for mayonnaise and ketchup for his appetizer, and always the same guy brought them to him and said "are you at MC Donalds?" In short, everyone was very unprofessional and rude, except perhaps one younger boy. We felt extremely uncomfortable and wouldn't recommend anyone to go there.
