06/12/2025: Everything was wonderful, including the bill.

03/11/2025: After two months of waiting, we finally went to lunch at the famous Il Capriccio restaurant. What a disappointment! The much-vaunted and highly praised tagliolini all'aragostella (lobster-like tagliolini) is nothing more than a mass of pasta with a questionable pulp (lobster?) mixed with a lot of cream. But can you serve a fish dish(?) with cream? An experience I'll never forget.

30/12/2025: A restaurant offering unique and sophisticated dishes, the food is overall good. Unfortunately, the staff was not at all welcoming, which significantly impacted the experience. The prices were too high for what we ate. I don't think I'll be back.

28/12/2025: Excellent dinner, dishes that were essentially perfect in both quality and preparation, fast and precise service, and a warm and comfortable atmosphere. We'll be back.

22/01/2026: This was my first time at this restaurant for dinner, and I brought some friends and locals to this simple, yet charming, historic place. We ordered a sampling of various appetizers, typical of southern Puglia, the traditional home-style cuisine of Salento, from octopus with burrata to burrata with sardines, and other appetizers, all delicious, flavorful, and very inviting. Then we had a first course of orecchiette and a type of pasta similar to elongated trofie with mini meatballs in tomato sauce—an excellent dish for connoisseurs of Puglian cuisine. Then we had a puree of broad beans with chicory. We drank a very good Puglian rosé. The place has an excellent large cellar of local and national wines. The young staff who served us was very knowledgeable and courteous. Highly recommended for connoisseurs of the cuisine of this wonderful Italy, in every region the true richness of this nation. Congratulations!

Authentic, traditional food, and the staff are a shining example: young and attentive, loving, and kind. A must-visit for a relaxing stay in Bari Vecchia. 05/12/2025: The tasting menu is definitely worth the try as you get to experience a variety of flavours from the cold and hot dishes, and at a reasonable price. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful! Worth visiting if in Bari.

13/02/2026: Our favorite restaurant in Merano. Good food, good wine, friendly service. Unfortunately the seafood dishes are available on Friday only.

07/02/2026: We last went there several times seven years ago. Back then, the service and the food were excellent, and the prices were reasonable. Yesterday, we reserved a table. After 30 minutes, we got a nice seat. The waiters were brief, and since it was fish day, they recommended a whole baked fish with potatoes and vegetables. We ended up with a fish fillet covered with somewhat greasy potato slices, without any vegetables. It tasted okay. The house wine was good (0.5 liters of white, 0.5 liters of red), and the crème catalana, which we shared, was also okay. The price was considerable; we paid over 90 euros for a mediocre meal and moderately friendly service. We still enjoyed it, though. However, the quality and prices have changed drastically. Hopefully, this was just a one-off.

03/01/2026: Lunch with friends in a perfect setting! The staff was very attentive and professional, yet also very friendly. They advised us on the best appetizers, and we were even offered limoncello at the end of the meal (which I never take for granted). The appetizers (which on the menu are recommended for two people) were perfectly portioned, very refined, and elegant... and, of course, delicious! For the first courses, I opted for the shrimp-filled panciotti... a true delight! Everything was perfect, absolutely recommended... and I'm telling you this from a restaurateur!

29/12/2025: As good as scorpion fish!! A small restaurant on the Savelletri seafront, lunchtime on a Monday in December. The service was female, polite, and attentive. After two appetizers, both good but lacking in flair, we were served a memorable scorpion fish linguine. A sweet sauce and cubes of soft, almost melting fish, the linguine was cooked to perfection. The dish was completed with a sumptuous soup made with the fish carcass. A few homemade desserts, but well-made. The price is reasonable for the location, the service, and the freshness of the fish.

26/02/2026: Spinti dalle buone recensioni abbiamo scelto Le Arpie per il nostro pranzo domenicale .Peggiore scelta di sempre . Spazi stretti e angusti , l’osteria era piena e i tavoli sono praticamente uno addosso all’altro, quindi si fa fatica anche a sedersi .Il servizio scadente , cameriera super maleducata .Nel momento delle ordinazioni , ci viene detto arrogantemente che non possiamo scegliere tutti primi diversi (????) . Non ne capisco il senso dal momento che sul menu ci sono ben 7 primi tra cui scegliere . Il cameriere non può assolutamente impormi una scelta , può suggerirmi un piatto , può fissare un minimo d’ordine per un piatto in particolare , ma se a tavola vogliamo assaggiare più piatti dal menù da loro redatto , non vedo perché non potremmo farlo . Un commensale potrebbe avere delle allergie , un altro può avere gusti diversi rispetto agli altri . Ho trovato la cosa maleducata , di cattivo gusto e grave dal punto di vista del servizio, che ripeto , pecca in ogni aspetto se consideriamo per esempio che c’erano scontri e litigi tra i camerieri in sala , davanti ai clienti .

14/01/2026: Lunch at the well-known @osterialearpie to enjoy the famous Orecchiette pasta with "braciola" (slow-cooked beef rolls with tomato sauce), which was really delicious. Dessert: Tiramisu 😋. Good, cold beer. Cozy atmosphere and very good service. We made a reservation. Menu photos September 2025.

01/02/2026: A varied appetizer with cured meats, cheeses, and hot dishes, but all served together on a platter with no indication of what they were or what was in the terracotta pans. This is important for first-time visitors. Everything was good, however, as was the enormous "elephant ear" cutlet, which we shared between two of us. The grilled vegetables were delicious. Improved service, with minimal interruptions to comment on the dishes, would make this an excellent trattoria.

24/11/2025: Between one visit and another, we stumbled upon this restaurant. The lady who served us was very kind. The service was very fast (upon our request). The orecchiette with turnip tops were superb! Naturally handmade.
