08/07/2025: Excellent place, delightful staff, and excellent food quality. Highly recommended for gluten-free options. Certified and with attentive customer service, I'd give it 5 stars just for the three different types of gluten-free bread they offer.

02/07/2025: Very good Italian restaurant with specialised food from Puglia and Piemonte. They have a lot of glutenfree options for lunch and dinner. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they speak really good English. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you want to eat different dishes instead of pizza, which they don't.

The food has a genuine flavor and quality that is evident in the taste, making you savor it from the first bite to the last. The service is friendly, attentive, and warm. We came to Trani for a wedding (from Milan), and this particularly delightful restaurant was recommended by B&B Germinario. We understand why, and... I highly recommend it!

08/01/2026: A true osteria that feels like home. Here you eat like your mother or grandmother: traditional cuisine, authentic flavors, and expertly prepared dishes. The portions are generous, uncompromising, and every bite tastes of simplicity and tradition. The atmosphere is informal and convivial. No unnecessary frills or special effects: just plenty of substance, authenticity, and a cuisine that speaks volumes. The price is honest and consistent with the quality and quantity of what we ate.

17/12/2025: We ended up in this restaurant because it was next to our bed and breakfast. We didn't know if it would be open, but it was. We were not even the only ones there. Food was great, service was friendly and prices decent.

16/03/2026: We were nervous about visiting due to some of the very negative google reviews. However it was raining and Nonna was near our hotel. I liked the humble style of the menu and decor, replete with chipped crockery. Bread arrived in paper bags and bussing was performed by gathering up the corners of the paper table clothes, typical of mom and pop shops. I was relieved to see a table of 6 middle aged Italians when we arrived. Our waitress didn’t speak much English but managed to comply with our request for a softer local wine. My companion had a primo of pasta with tomato and strong ricotta which was stronger than the ricotta salata we’ve had in Sicily. Very al dente and a great dish for people who like strong cheeses. I had the scialatielli with seafood. Light spaghetti vongole style sauce containing mostly clams. The single prawn had been peeled and deveined but left head on. Again, perfect al dente pasta served harder than in northern Italy. We shared a secondo and contorno. We ordered steak with porcini which I considered a risky choice. Meat was medium rare as ordered, and very tender. It could have looked more elegant if the sauce had been served under the steak instead of smothering it. Also slicing the steak in the kitchen would have looked more attractive but that wouldn’t be in keeping with the style of the restaurant. Our contorno was chicory sauteed with good olives. There was nothing to fault with suppliers of ingredients or cooking technique. Service can be a little slow. Our waitress seemed to be covering tables on both floors.

24/02/2026: It's a very traditional local restaurant, but unfortunately it didn't quite suit my taste; most of the dishes were too salty for me.

10/03/2026: Excellent Apulian osteria. Quick service. Very friendly staff. Fresh ingredients for tasty traditional Apulian dishes. Generous portions. No damn TVs (!). I always love coming back.

08/02/2026: This is the type of place that tourists hope to stumble upon. Small traditional restaurant with super service. A simple menu of regional classics serving solid and well priced dishes. We had a wonderful dinner. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful. If this were in my neighborhood I would come every week.

The location is a tribute to authentic Puglia, with wicker baskets, olive and fig trees everywhere, surrounded by the tranquil countryside yet with the sea clearly visible in the distance. A good selection of wines, and I really thought the idea of ​​offering a mixed menu of meat and fish was excellent, highlighting the variety of Puglian cuisine. A truly satisfying experience, not only for the palate but also for the emotional warmth of the landscape. A little pricey, perhaps, in my opinion. But that's all there is to it.

14/12/2025: Booked on the recommendation of our accommodation staff, it was a wonderful surprise. The place is very spacious and welcoming, and the staff is kind and helpful. The background music is very pleasant and not overbearing. The dishes are truly excellent, both in quality and quantity. If you're in the area, although it's not typical local cuisine, it's definitely worth a visit. Congratulations!
