In the jungle of Lecce's restaurants, some of which are overly formal but lacking in substance, this restaurant remains the pinnacle of food, ensuring quality and satisfying a wide range of tastes with an interesting variety of dishes. The service is always attentive, professional, pleasant, and discreet. The atmosphere is relaxing and quiet, thanks to its multiple dining rooms. I highly recommend it.

24/08/2025: Our meal wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The brusque, nervous staff didn't inspire any positivity. It felt like management was improvised. I wouldn't return, nor would I recommend it. Special mention goes to the foreign waiter, I think Indian, who stood out from the rest of the staff.

03/10/2025: On September 27th my husband and I went to this restaurant, we had a great time, the staff were attentive and friendly, very familiar, good food, very soft, the sweet tetta della monaca ☺️, we will return.

03/10/2025: Rustic and informal atmosphere, the staff makes you feel at home. We were undecided between several dishes, and they offered us half portions so we could try a little bit of everything, which we greatly appreciated. Plus, even the half portions were very generous. The orecchiette with horse meat ragù and the meatballs with tomato sauce are highly recommended. The prices are more than fair.

13/11/2025: A truly lovely place where you eat well and spend a fair amount. The food is just how I like it: simple but tasty. The place has the charm of old Milan; in fact, it's been around for over 50 years, and that's always a plus for me. The first courses are good, but my favorite are the braciole baresi al sugo. 14/11/2025: A great place. A wonderful atmosphere in an Italian restaurant with delicious food made with local produce. We were given an excellent wine with dinner; they asked us to choose it for us. An impressive wine list. The service was exceptional. Don't forget to leave a tip! They don't add it to the bill.

23/10/2025: After unfortunately finding ourselves in front of a closed restaurant yesterday (we hadn't checked the opening hours), we went back today and were both thrilled! The atmosphere was lovely, and we had a lovely outdoor seating area. The service was excellent – ​​consistently attentive and very helpful. Unfortunately, we don't speak Italian, but that wasn't a problem at all! Even as a vegetarian, I was extremely satisfied because the food was still delicious and typical of the region! I'd love to come back if I'm ever in the region again (and definitely specifically for this restaurant!). Thank you so much for letting us spend a lovely evening with you!

15/10/2025: The trattoria is traditional, small, and very welcoming, spread across two levels. The atmosphere is pleasant, although it seems the place is perhaps geared more toward foreigners. The dishes are carefully prepared and tasty, honest, but (perhaps with the exception of a few dishes) they don't impress with an explosion of flavors, despite maintaining a solid, traditional approach to cuisine. The cover charge (€1.00) is fair and in line with the type of service offered. The Antipasto della Casa (which was presented to us as a portion for two) was a bit disappointing: we didn't find a good balance between the price and the variety/quantity of the dishes. This could be an unfortunate exception due to the evening or our table, but it's an aspect that needs reconsidering.

14/10/2025: Our favourite trattoria in Lecce! Would highly recommend reserving a table because you would be extremely disappointed to miss out eating here! Always remember to ask what Nonna's fantasy is, we got extremely lucky and had a lobster pasta which was delicious.
