27/07/2026: I had dinner with a friend last night. The food was good and plentiful, and the outdoor atmosphere was nice. The service and waiters were really good. A small slam on the part of the owner or manager. He kept walking between the tables, giving directions and reprimanding the waiters in a decidedly unpleasant manner. I fully understand the stress that comes with working in the restaurant business, but it's inappropriate to treat employees this way, especially in front of customers. This attitude, in the long run, made the dinner unpleasant. I'm sorry, but I'll try to return, hoping it was just a bad night, because the place deserves it.

14/08/2026: The pizza is good. The service was a bit distracted; I ordered a beer that never arrived, so halfway through I asked for it to be taken off the bill. The oven makes the place very hot, even though the air conditioning is turned down low; we sweated a lot.

22/07/2026: My boyfriend and I had a Puglian aperitivo, which was plentiful and delicious. It was a wonderful experience! The service is always excellent! The pizzas are delicious too! We'd go back! Thank you 🤍🤍🤍

29/06/2026: I've been to Sapemore and I must say it was a wonderful discovery. I tried the porchetta, which was truly flavorful and well-made, accompanied by a good beer that paired perfectly with the dishes. I also had the opportunity to try other local dishes, and you can taste the quality of the ingredients and the attention to Apulian tradition, with that extra touch that makes everything even more interesting. The atmosphere is welcoming and informal, and the staff is friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a place where you eat well, have a good time, and I'd gladly return. Recommended!

24/07/2026: My favorite restaurant... or rather trattoria... or rather family-run place to eat excellent Apulian dishes. When I say family, it's because it's family-run and the dishes are made with fresh, genuine ingredients and are strictly homemade. From panzerotti to legume soups, to orecchiette... And then grilled meat or grilled cheeses! No grill, but grilled!!! And to finish, excellent homemade desserts that change every day!!! Oh, and don't forget the classic and delicious fresh vegetable dip as a side dish. The only restaurant where I can have everything from appetizer to dessert without forgetting a good bottle of Apulian wine!!! Affordable prices. Not a lot of seating, reservations recommended!!! Thanks La Giara!!! See you very soon with many new features like the Salento Cola dinner, free Raffo beer (all you can drink!), excellent Bombette and three types of puccia (filled open sandwich). Mine had sausage, scamorza, and arugula... everything super excellent, always compliments to the master chefs of this Apulian restaurant. Thank you!

04/06/2026: Excellent trattoria, authentic and full of charm. The service is pleasant, unpretentious, and never intrusive. My boyfriend and I had lunch there one day and had a wonderful time. It's naturally cool inside during the summer, which is especially welcome. I ordered the dish of the day: homemade gnocchi with tuna, tomatoes, and arugula. Absolutely delicious! They were the best gnocchi I've ever had; they literally melted in my mouth. My boyfriend chose orecchiette, and he was equally delighted. Simple, authentic, and perfectly executed cuisine. If we ever return to Lecce, we will definitely go back. We highly recommend it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

01/06/2026: An authentic dinner for two in the heart of Lecce. We dined at this trattoria as a couple and had a truly positive experience. The restaurant boasts beautiful, distinctive stone vaulted architecture that immediately creates a warm, rustic, and welcoming atmosphere, typical of old Salento taverns.

28/07/2026: Intimate and quiet place. Friendly, helpful staff, knowledgeable in explaining the dishes. Very good food (we had a delicious mixed antipasto platter with a wide variety of traditional dishes, orecchiette pasta, and grilled calamari...all excellent!). We were extremely satisfied, so I highly recommend this restaurant.

Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail, from the elegant rooms to the welcoming dining room. Yet, despite the changes and aesthetic improvements, that homely atmosphere has remained intact, vibrant in every corner. You are not a customer, you are an awaited guest. You are not a room number, you are part of a story. The spark that makes all this possible is Signora Marisa. Meeting her again was a balm for the heart. She is the architect of this family atmosphere. At Marisa's you don't just eat delicious food and sleep in impeccable beds: you feel protected, pampered, loved.

17/08/2026: I guess I've had a particularly difficult day for the establishment? The fact is, 1 hour and twenty minutes after ordering, only the appetizers had been served... So we left the restaurant. It's probably a restaurant better suited to large groups than a couple... The food (the appetizers) were good.

15/08/2026: Terrible. Pizza arrived after 2 hours, at 12:10. The mozzarella was sticky. To apologize for the delay, they offered us a liqueur (thanks for the kindness...). To top it off, while they were clearing the table, they threw shrimp down my shirt. Never again.
