As often in Milan, a restaurant listed in the Michelin guide costs the same as many other banal restaurants and trattorias in the centre. Final accounts? €61 each with a starter and second course each, and two bottles of red for 6.

09/03/2025: ALTRIMÉNTI is a hidden pearl in the heart of Milan, a restaurant that manages to combine elegance, youth and hospitality in a perfect balance. From the first entrance you perceive the warm and inviting atmosphere, with a young but at the same time highly professional staff. The manager, who also appears to be the owner, stands out for his extraordinary competence that goes beyond his young age. His knowledge of wines is remarkable: he knows how to recommend the right wine, with a wine list that, despite being expanding, is already stimulating and of quality. The welcome is simply elegant, and the service is precise and courteous. The staff is always ready to put customers at ease. The restaurant also stands out for a good selection of wines, which, although still to be enriched, already represents a valid complement to the dishes offered. Let's get to the main dish: the food. ALTRIMÉNTI offers a choice of five first courses, five second courses and three or four desserts, a proposal that reflects the quality and excellence of the cuisine. I have already visited the restaurant four times and on each occasion I have tasted dishes that impressed me with their simplicity and concreteness. The dishes are not loaded with frills, but are taken care of down to the smallest detail, highlighting the great quality of the raw materials. The lasagna, spaghetti with spring onions and courtyard ragù are simply delicious, each with a unique flavor that leaves its mark. The second courses are equally sensational, with starters not to be missed, such as cod and calamari. Every bite is a taste experience that highlights the skill in the kitchen and the attention to the selection of ingredients. I would say that it has the potential to become an unbeatable point of reference in the Milanese gastronomic scene and I sincerely hope that it continues on this path. However, a small note concerns the placemats: although it is a detail, I would prefer a more elegant and clean tablecloth, which better reflects the high level of the restaurant. There is also a big positive point: they don't describe the dishes to you and make you eat them. I can no longer stand the descriptions of what I ordered and have already read. In summary, ALTRIMÉNTI is a place that manages to conquer with its culinary offering and service, maintaining a young and dynamic atmosphere. I will certainly continue to frequent it, with the hope that it can grow further, becoming a point of reference for Milanese gastronomy.

28/02/2025: Excellent home cooking! The turnip tops and the orecchiette with datterino tomatoes are delicious. It's been a while since I've been here, the place has improved and there is a greater variety in the offerings. Congratulations to the staff, professional and very kind!

12/03/2025: A tavern directly on the Naviglio Grande with a great service. Very good, fast and light dishes according to tradition. I had a plate and orecchiette with turnip tops and you felt like you were in Taranto. Cooked just right, tasty and plentiful. I count on at least lunchtime, parking available on Via Ludovico Moro, even for those traveling by car.

The only flaw in the evening with friends was when ordering, when upon my polite request for a Margherita pizza I heard the waiter comment "how sad". I didn't answer out of politeness but in fact, at this point, it wasn't much. How sad, it had never happened to me to feel like an order was judged by a staff member.

08/01/2025: It deserves 5 stars all in all. Very nice place in the alleys of the town. Nice and friendly girls. The manager is very friendly and available for a chat (work permitting). Food made me feel like a child again when I went back to my grandparents. We had a peaceful lunch with a good homemade primitive. Thank you.

Pizza y entradas con los ingredientes más frescos Prosciutto, buraya, mozzarella provola con la que te comes los dedos. Servicio perfecto y ambiente ovacionado por Manolo Debo irme.

22/03/2025: We went to dinner intrigued by the menu. We chose a tasting menu for €35. The quality of the fish and the way the dishes were cooked did not satisfy us at all. Francesco was rude especially when the mistletoe was accidentally touched, which I think he is very attached to, as he wanted to point out that it has been there for two years... We couldn't wait to leave

23/03/2025: We stopped here for lunch. We didn’t have a reservation, but they took us in. We had local white wine, cheese platter and two main courses. We weren’t wowed by the taste of the food. It was OK, but nothing special, especially not for the price. Service and atmosphere were great!
