02/12/2024: Large but very well-kept location, even if the internal rooms seemed quite different from each other. We attended a company lunch, with a fixed and agreed upon menu. The welcome and service were good, even if it was on a Sunday and with a packed house. Various hot and cold appetizers as entry. The octopus on a bed of broad bean puree and the fried cod deserve praise. Less successful (personal taste obviously) is the salmon carpaccio with ginger). Local first courses: fantastic Laganari Martinese style with cardoncelli mushrooms, cacioricotta and capocollo and 'surprise' an excellent dish of orecchiette and turnip cream. At this point mixed roast (bombette, sausage and livers) and then fresh fruit with ice cream and cake. Satisfied, but I plan to definitely return to be able to choose independently. See you soon.

28/11/2024: Nice location, and unfortunately the positive things end here. Tasteless dishes, all, starters and first courses. It seemed they had almost completely forgotten the salt. Even the first one with the bottarga was tasteless. Service ok, we didn't even receive a smile from the beginning to the end of lunch.

30/09/2024: The food was too bland and not fresch , tomato sauce and pulpa tasted like it came from a thin can. The bruschetta was dry crackers and not as expected. You can do so much better. I was disappointed. I recommend to go somewhere else.

08/12/2024: Forse una stella è anche troppo! Antipasto della casa veramente immangiabile ( senza un senso e sapore dove c’erano semplicemente delle verdure buttate e cotte in padella o al forno), carne “arrosto” durissima e immangiabile! Nonostante l’abbiamo fatto presente al personale non c’è stata risposta, in cassa come se nulla fosse. Ps nei piatti è rimasto tutto quello che non abbiamo mangiato!

28/07/2024: Osteria where you feel pampered and at home. The food is homemade but cooked with a lot of attention to the ingredients (strictly local) and with a lot of love. For us, an obligatory stop on Sunday. Today an extraordinary burnt wheat troccolo with sausage tips sauce and a very tender beef stew. What more do you want from life? A house liqueur? There's that too!

27/07/2024: Tried it during lunch break, thanks to the suggestion of friends; the outside is not particularly inviting but as soon as you open the door you enter a modern but warm dining room like "grandma's"! The menu already provides a clear possibility of choice but then the owner, explaining the dishes, certainly gives excellent advice for choosing based on tastes. The food, although simple, is generally made using products that are easily available locally and is very tasty for particular combinations, even if not typical of traditional Apulian cuisine. Definitely worth trying again without hesitation!

03/12/2024: Salve stato li con figlio e sorella la sera la simpatia del maitre pugliese maschera alcune lacune evidenti come un antipasto appena sufficiente( Bologna e crudo con tanta rucola cosa c entra?) dignitoso i fusilli alla siciliana ,carciofi come antipasto eccessivamente immersi nell' olio sia pure di buon fattura..primi abbondanti di ma servizio troppo frettoloso e quasi troppo veloce,il cliente viene spiazzato..location carina,non troppo insonorizzata,fruscio vociare eccessivo e soprattutto ma già sapevo prezzi leggermente esagerati ( 20...22 euro un primo degni di un locale vicino Duomo non di Risto pizzeria defilata zona Rembrandt. Eh....gli amari offerti solo per metà...ma ci sta..prima ritornarci ci penserei su..sempre con rispetto..ronzini Claudio Mesero mi..

29/11/2024: Anche questa volta il Trotter ha superato tutte le nostre aspettative. Pranzo in famiglia. Cordialità e simpatita dei titolari e dello staff. Piatti che soddisfano ogni palato ed esauriscono ogni fame. Quesi impossibile fare un pranzo completo in quanto ogni piatto (che sia antipasto, primo o secondo) è gustosissimo, sfizioso ma in dosi familiari.... piatti che soddisfano l'occhio, il cervello, lo stomaco e soprattutto che gusto. Provata la cotoletta alla milanese con patatine... non solo eccezionale ...ho dovuto farla incartare per mangiarla il giorno dopo da quanto era abbondante e poi gustata con un ottimo Lagrein. Che dire. Il trotter è al primo posto dei miei ristoranti milanesi

14/08/2024: I was here last night with my husband... excellent culinary experience! We hadn't booked but they immediately gave us a table. Truly excellent and delicious dishes. My seafood starter the 'Diplomatico with blue prawn and beluga caviar' was a mystical experience!!! I have never eaten anything so good. Perfect combination of ingredients. The girl who served us throughout the evening was very kind and friendly. A refined and classy place with fresh and excellent ingredients. I will definitely be back!

04/12/2024: The pasta was truly amazing, service staff were also very helpful. The restaurant is very popular amongst the locals. It was recommended by our hotel and we loved it so much! The local guests adds to the atmosphere, making it a very lively and family friendly place to dine. Prices were also extremely fair, portions were generous. Highly recommended!

03/12/2024: This restaurant is definitely worth it, the tastiest place at the moment, we asked two local places and both of them recommended it to us. The food is very tasty, the staff is friendly.

30/11/2024: Came with great expectations ,leaved desapointed.Waitres was in a hurry ,food was too salty and overcooked.Not a great day for cooking. I am sure that there are better places to eat in Manduria.I don t recomend.

14/11/2024: You have to look hard to find this great place to eat, there is no visible sign n the street, but its reputation leads you to it. For some genuine southern confort food this is the place. Food just like la Nonna made. The prices are raisonnable and the portions are generous.

17/08/2024: Typical Salento octopus and pasta with fish ragù. Everything excellent. We asked for two glasses of wine and he made us pay for the whole bottle but the glasses were very plentiful. I'd say ok. Dinner for two, 60 euros with small discount included. I would happily stay here again

14/11/2024: The staff are very friendly and the food is tremendous. We are here 3 times during our stay in Lecce. Highly recommend.
