The "homemade pasta" wasn't cooked properly and was served almost cold. We waited five minutes for our food. There were four of us, and we were served three slices of bread. The atmosphere was nice, but I wouldn't recommend it, especially not for the price!

The food here is exceptional and reasonably priced. Service is also high quality .

We went to this restaurant for a business dinner. The atmosphere was fantastic; they seated us in a lovely room overlooking the cellar (on the ground floor). Nothing to complain about the food, and in fact, some things deserved a mention. Generous portions, quality ingredients; one of my colleagues thought the pasta with sea urchins was the best he'd ever had. The only flaw was perhaps too much seasoning in some places (the caponata had too much oil). The only flaw of the evening was the service, which was too slow (they served us the wine after about a half-hour wait, and upon request; the bread after we'd almost finished the appetizer, and again upon request). However, they made up for it in terms of kindness and expertise, compared to their knowledge of bitters. I would return in the future; they'll certainly make up for it with experience ;)

Very good and excellent value for money

The Japanese guidebook "Tsuchi no Arukikata" describes this restaurant as classic and elegant. It certainly lives up to that description, offering a relaxing dining experience. It also mentions that the staff offer pleasant service, but I found them to be less than friendly. The wine list is mostly on the expensive side, so it might be a good choice for those on a budget.

I discovered it by chance while I was nearby and was pleased with the welcome and service. The caponata and broad beans with wild chicory were delicious. Excellent value for money. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing.

This was my first time at this restaurant for dinner, and I brought some friends and locals to this simple, historic, but charming and comfortable place. We ordered a sampling of various appetizers, typical of southern Puglia, the traditional home-style cuisine of Salento, from octopus with burrata to burrata with sardines, and other appetizers, all delicious, flavorful, and very inviting. Then we had a first course of orecchiette and a type of pasta similar to elongated trofie with mini meatballs in tomato sauce—an excellent dish for connoisseurs of Puglian cuisine. Then we had a puree of broad beans with chicory. We drank a very good Puglian rosé wine. The restaurant has an excellent large cellar of local and national wines. The young staff who served us was very knowledgeable and courteous. Highly recommended for connoisseurs of the cuisine of this wonderful Italy, in every region the true richness of this nation. Congratulations!
