07/10/2025: This place is all about true Pugliese food, and it’s definitely worth a visit. It’s better to reserve ahead — otherwise, be ready for a long wait in line. Once seated, we found the staff super friendly, the atmosphere relaxed, and the food very homey and authentic. We started with orecchiette al pomodoro (simple yet amazing) and ciceri e tria (a classic dish, though not really to my taste). For the secondi, I was surprised by how delicious the turcinieddhri (sheep offal rolls) were — definitely recommended if you enjoy lamb or sheep. The real highlight for me, though, was the polpette di cavallo al sugo — absolutely delicious! For dessert, don’t even think of skipping it. The toasted dried figs stuffed with almonds and the spumone fichi e mandorle were simply incredible, the perfect way to end the meal. A great place to discover authentic, local Pugliese cuisine with genuine hospitality.

07/10/2025: This hidden gem, requires a reservation, so be sure to get yours ahead of time. **Find them on Facebook and use WhatsApp.** The staff is extremely friendly. They are well as a team and are willing to help you order. The food was very. It was so good my husband ordered dessert (something he never does). Chocolate patachio souffle. My gin and tonic was good and my husband enjoyed a 🍻 beer. Sorry no photos.

13/10/2025: A down-to-earth Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is lovely inside, but the conservatory feels a bit lost. We waited a long time for our order to be taken. The antipasti selection for starters/sharing isn't recommended—it's full of cheap pastries.

02/10/2025: It’s my second visit already. If you come to this city and don’t eat pizza here, you’re really missing out. The food is delicious, and most importantly, you must make a reservation. The staff are super friendly and full of good vibes — they really make the atmosphere fun and lively. Don’t forget to order the tiramisu — it’s amazing!

17/08/2025: Unfortunately, we arrived there rather late after a long drive. The lady welcomed us extremely warmly and lovingly, even though they were closing in 60 minutes. The food: starter, main course, desserts, and even the wine were all 10 out of 10. Rarely have we had such priceless and perfect food and drinks. We'd love to go back!

29/06/2025: Oggi a pranzo con la mia famiglia abbiamo assaggiato diversi piatti, tutti ottimi, cucinati con maestria, materia prima di ottima qualità, ambiente fresco e pulito, cortesia e rapidità nel personale di sala. Elencando i piatti abbiamo ordinato: parmigiana si mare fredda, tartare di tonno, gnocchi fatti in casa con crostacei e zafferano, carbonarabdi mare, scoglio, fritto senza spine. Per chiudere dessert esotico fatto con cremoso all'avocado e ricotta. Consiglio a chi piace il buon mangiare pugliese.

04/10/2025: This is a lovely place, seems like a little of the main road but with a heart and soul and a great house wine. Food choice is really far from mainstream and is delicious. They have horse meat on the menu, and many other interesting things. Service is on a very good level

28/09/2025: Very good and exceptional food. The only downside is the wait, not so much for a table as for the time it takes to receive your order. We waited over 60 minutes from the moment we arrived. It takes a lot of patience and calm.

24/07/2025: Must try! Sliced horsemeat served on a metal tray (?!), literally buried in arugula and cherry tomatoes. The steak was perhaps 2 mm thick and cooked in the center but raw on the edges. Served on a metal tray, it inevitably arrived cold at the table. I think the ingredients were good (as were the other dishes served to us), but the cooking and plating left much to be desired. The staff could also be more present at the tables (I don't mean intrusive) to try to respond to customer needs (after three minutes of no one being seen, I got up to get the salt. Three minutes with a dish in front of me that had already arrived cold is quite a long time). I promise myself I'll return to give it a second chance.

06/10/2025: Except for being a little slow, the food was very good, and the prices were average for these places and this city. The service was very friendly.

26/09/2025: At this restaurant, located on the outskirts of Altamura, I enjoyed a culinary experience that highlights tradition and local ingredients. The menu draws inspiration from locally sourced and seasonal produce, offering dishes from the Murgia region prepared simply yet effectively. The appetizer served as an excellent overview of local flavors, with a selection ranging from classics like fried olives, eggplant parmigiana, and peppers, to more unusual combinations like friggitelli peppers with fava bean purée and farm cheese with apricot jam. Altamura bread meatballs and Venere rice with vegetables provided a touch of originality. The first course, homemade spaghetti, successfully combined the delicacy of wild fennel with the savory flavor of anchovies, all enhanced by a pleasant crunch of toasted almonds. The highlight of the evening, a Murgia lamb shank, was served with baked potatoes and raw barattieri, a combination that highlighted the quality of the meat. The dessert, finally, maintained its high standard: the ricotta and pear tart won over with its lightness, while the San Marzano cremolata with affogato provided an unusual and memorable finale.

12/10/2025: Nice, welcoming place, decent food, slightly high prices. An appetizer for two includes a small bowl of prosciutto, a small bowl of fried olives, a small bowl of mozzarella, a small bowl of parmigiana, and two slices of mortadella and salami. Two entrees of brasciole with tomato sauce and three small peppers are €54.

02/10/2025: Excellent experience! We visited this beautiful location and were thrilled. The food was excellent, with carefully crafted dishes and well-balanced flavors. We tried a mixed seafood appetizer, both hot and cold, and then several first courses: orecchiette with shrimp, tomatoes, and pistachios (a must-try!), strascinate with meatballs in tomato sauce, and black spaghetti, which were slightly al dente, as the waiter rightly pointed out when we ordered. The desserts are also worth a try—they're truly delicious! The quality-price ratio is excellent, and the service is fast and formal. Highly recommended!
