30/04/2026: We wanted to eat something typical of the area and that's why we chose this restaurant. Keep in mind its opening hours. We chose a lunch visit because we are not fans of late dinners..
The atmosphere is a bit simple (with tiles like a bathroom). The menu has horse meat dishes, which are typical of the area. I recommend the meatballs with tomato sauce (the meatballs are very flaky). We also tried beans with pasta, which is not bad, but there are no spices, and this makes it tasteless. The dessert is top... The service is fast, without unnecessary courtesies... As almost everywhere in Italy there is a service charge per person (even if you are not very happy 😉🤨😵💫)..
We were lucky without a reservation for late lunch.

11/06/2026: Most amazing meal and atmosphere! Our whole groups favourite place we’ve eaten so far. All the food was amazing but loved the beef tartare and the pork dish and torte for dessert. 10/10 - if you’re looking for somewhere to eat in Ostuni it has to be here!!
10/06/2026: We had a delicious late breakfast (it's served until 12): cappuccinos and giant toasts—one with caprese and another with prosciutto. The staff was very attentive, and the place is peaceful, shaded by green trees and flowers, and very cool.

02/06/2026: Not a good experience. Supermarket ravioli, rather muddled flavors that have little of the "old world" about them. Fried seafood was acceptable. The house rosé wine was sweetish... What can I say, a disappointment!
N.B. Prices are low, but that doesn't justify...
02/05/2026: A place with heart and substance. Everything else is boring. The food was delicious, and the staff worked hard to make you feel good. The atmosphere is historic and rustic, just the right amount.

08/06/2026: A unique experience... the place is delightful, a stunning corner of Salento... the food is truly excellent, there are so many appetizers, but each bowl brings a classic flavor created by a skilled hand... not to mention the homemade ice cream... let's not forget the professional service... efficient but with the ability to make you feel at home... highly recommended.

02/06/2026: My husband and I wanted to try the local bombette. I found this restaurant on Google with good reviews, but I have to say that after trying their food and service, my rating is much higher.
From the courtesy of Mrs. Francesca, to the overall service, to the exquisite food. Everything was top-notch. So good, we even bought some meat for home.

02/06/2026: A wonderful find in Cisternino for a couples dinner! The atmosphere is incredibly quaint, with tables set along the town's typical alleys. We had a divine dinner, sampling traditional dishes: a creamy fava bean and chicory purée and the ever-present bombette, delicious in both the classic and special versions. The price was very fair and excellent value.
PS: If you decide to book, they'll answer by 7:30 PM, then you'll have to wait in line.

06/06/2026: Food was great. The fillet was nice, sauce a bit sweet but meat was perfect, potato sides a bit too salty to my liking. Mixed fried was good, a lot of squids and 2 prawns. Not sure if I read the menu wrong but baby octopus hummus didn't come with hummus. The best dish was cacio e pepe with pear and beef tartare. I'll try to cook this later; interesting combination. Nice oysters. The service was great. They were helpful. Great white wine recommendation.

The three types of mussels were very tasty, and the fried food was perfectly executed. The wait times were reasonable, and the staff was friendly and helpful, as always.
02/06/2026: We had a wonderful meal! We chose the mussels and fried fish menu, and it was truly amazing: super-fresh ingredients, generous portions, and authentic flavors. A special mention also goes to the homemade bread, which was simply delicious and the perfect accompaniment to every course.
The staff was professional, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable, always attentive to their guests' needs and ready to offer the best possible advice. It was an experience that won us over in every way.
Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

24/04/2026: The atmosphere was generally nice, the food was okay, but the prices were way too high. What bothered us most was that when I went to pay with the card I'd been using throughout the trip, it was declined. I tried another card, and the same thing happened. They asked if I could pay another way, and I had no choice but to use the little cash I had. It was clear it wasn't a problem with the card because they didn't make any effort to fix it or even offer us a discount for the inconvenience. I left and went to a kiosk to buy something to see if my card really wasn't working, and as I expected, I was able to pay without any problem. I felt ripped off; the service was terrible.

"Minchiate" for the first course, chicken strips with baked potatoes (sublime) for the second course... everything delicious, fast service, and friendly staff.
Fair prices.
Recommended!
