18/12/2025: A 350g ribeye steak for €40, ordered rare. A 1cm thick slice arrived, very well done. No comment. Not worth the asking price. Service was inattentive and inattentive.

14/12/2025: We took the opportunity to come to Parma to visit with two nephews who are attending university, and together we tried dinner at Parma Rotta. It was a delightful experience: the restaurant was excellent, the service impeccable, and the waiter who accompanied us during dinner was excellent (a young man of Tunisian origin who attends university, whose name we don't know). The quality of the food was excellent (traditional tortelli and then the sublime Portuguese steak), not to mention their fiordilatte ice cream with zabaglione sauce, wow. We'll definitely be back.

05/12/2025: The cured meat appetizer was good, the onion tart was carelessly assembled and tasteless, the tortelli di erbetta had a dough that seemed to be baby food, made in a sheet too thin to contain it, and the pappardelle were soaked in an indeterminate sauce. For dessert: a panettone that I didn't like; there are better ones on the market with good gelato. I must say that the space for the reception was also insufficient, and we were kindly invited to sit at the assigned table for dinner, a Spritz aperitif with too little Aperol to be considered a proper aperitif. I don't think this is a place I'll be returning to.

The food is all delicious, from the pasta with a spectacular ragù and perfectly cooked meats to the perfectly cooked tagliata. The selection of cheeses and cured meats is excellent, best enjoyed with an excellent wine and torta fritta. A welcoming atmosphere for a wonderful evening!!!

02/12/2025: Pasta specialists. We ordered the ragu, which came with a small plate of fried parmesan. We also had the truffle pasta. Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent.

27/11/2025: I stumbled upon it somewhat by chance for a quick pasta dish. I'd say that, having arrived during rush hour, even though it was a bit crowded, I had a great time. I'll definitely be back on my next visit to Parma!

10/12/2025: Company dinner, group of ten. A menu had been agreed upon, including appetizers, a first course, wine, and water, for €35 per person. The quantity of the courses was negligible: four pieces of torta fritta (the size of a postage stamp), a few slices of mixed cured meats, and eight tortelli, to give an exact indication of the portions. In all fairness, I should point out that during the dinner, two bottles of red wine and an extra glass of white wine were ordered. When we reached the cashier, we were presented with a bill of €50 each, a full €15 more than agreed upon. After raising some objections, we were told that the two bottles of wine had affected the total (we're talking about regular Lambrusco, not champagne; I find it very odd that two bottles increased the individual bills of ten people by €15). And to tie in with the response to the review below mine, the bitters advertised as free were actually added to the price list and cited as another reason for the increase in the per-person price. In conclusion, I won't be returning to this restaurant because we all left the table hungry and because of the total lack of transparency regarding the bill, despite the arrangements being made at the time of booking. Not recommended!

10/12/2025: The evening, organized for a company dinner for 10 people, was supposed to reflect the excellence of Parma cuisine. Instead, it turned out to be a prime example of how a restaurant can disrespect its customers, both gastronomically and professionally. Inappropriate Portions For a final cost of €50 per person (compared to the agreed-upon €35), what we were served bordered on the absurd: • 3 slices of prosciutto • 2 very thin slices of salami • 4 tiny pieces of torta fritta • 4 herb tortelli • 4 pumpkin tortelli • a glass of wine Nothing that could justify the price, much less a dinner. Such a meager offering, for a large group, feels more like a courtesy bite than a proper meal. Unacceptable from every perspective. A shocking service The staff's behavior was probably the most disconcerting aspect of the entire experience. • When serving the starters, the waiters literally touched every dish with their spoons, one after the other. • Several guests were splashed with melted butter or wine during service. • A young woman was hit on the head by a metal-cornered menu, passed across the table with almost disturbing carelessness. No apology, no hint of embarrassment: as if it were normal. • For inexplicable reasons, a table was removed from our table before it began: the result was embarrassingly small space, making it impossible even to comfortably lay a napkin. The removed table? It remained unused for the entire evening. A series of incidents that reveals not only a lack of professionalism, but a complete lack of care and consideration for the guests. Final Summary In a city where cuisine and hospitality are a source of pride, this experience unfortunately falls far short of the minimum standards. Small portions, disorganization, clumsy service, and a bill that has no logical or gastronomic justification. For those seeking authenticity, quality, and respect: this is not the right choice. Absolutely avoid.

05/12/2025: Phenomenal Trattoria!!! Between appetizers and first courses... the first time isn't enough to try everything, and they're EXTREMELY good. As for the second courses... maybe you'll get there the second or third time you come back! Highly recommended!

20/12/2025: A fantastic experience. I discovered this place several years ago during a simple business lunch. I recognized the place from a TV show, 4 Ristoranti, where Achille was unfairly slammed. I stopped by on my way back from a camper tour to evaluate the competition's results, which I didn't think were fair. I was right; Achille is the king of torta fritta, no ifs or buts. Impeccable service, exquisite courtesy, reasonable prices. If you don't try it, you don't know what you're missing. PS: I compared it to the winner, and the situation was completely reversed. Thanks, Achille. It's a shame we're so far away, better for the scales. Happy Holidays

02/11/2025: Nice restaurant on the way to the Magnani Rocca Foundation. We arrived with our small dog, who they then made us take back to the car because they don't allow dogs. This obviously ruined our stay, especially since Google Maps (as per attachment) says "dogs allowed." I pointed this out at the cashier, and the gentleman denied it. I asked him to correct it by saying "DOGS NOT ALLOWED" to avoid future misunderstandings with other dog owners. The food was average; you decide for yourself whether or not to go without a pet, of course.

10/12/2025: EXCELLENT!!! EVERYTHING EXCELLENT! A magnificent evening! Fresh and plentiful dishes. Excellent service is an understatement! The atmosphere was quiet and welcoming!!! The waitress, Mariana, went around the tables to make sure everything was okay... Compliments to the chef!!! There are very few restaurants at this level! We will definitely be back!
