We were a little chilly because we weren't seated inside the restaurant itself but in an adjacent outdoor area that they'd converted to a heated space. However, it's still less comfortable than the actual restaurant, and there's a bit of a draft. Otherwise, we had a great time. The torta fritta with cured meats was delicious.
The cooked shoulder tortelli were good.
The Piedmontese Fassona beef tartare with tartare of Taggiasca olives and capers was delicious.
The guancialini with polenta were delicious.
The desserts were excellent, the mascarpone cream delicious, beautifully presented and a generous portion.
The service was quick and the elderly waiter, who took care of our table throughout, was very kind.

We visited this trattoria, about 10 km outside the center of Parma, on Easter Monday, without a reservation but not during peak hours. We were very lucky: the owner kindly found us a table for two with enough room for my daughter's stroller.
We chose the three-course set menu (an appetizer featuring their traditional platter of torta fritta and local cured meats, a first course with two stuffed tortelli, and dessert) at a reasonable price: €35 per person, excluding drinks (we had a 1L bottle of still wine and 0.25L of the house white wine - Malvasia - truly delicious).
There was just the right amount of waiting time between courses.
The servings were generous.
We found the staff friendly and helpful.
The only negative: we didn't find wheelchair access available.
I would return to try the main courses; highly recommended!

The owner and staff are very kind and professional. The atmosphere is modern, pleasant, and well-kept. Excellent food, including torta fritta, which is delicious, well-cooked, not greasy, and perfect with the excellent cured meats paired with a great red wine. I highly recommend it.
