Everything was good and "plain," like a real trattoria, including the prices. On Saturdays, there's a long line to get in; reservations aren't allowed. I'm happy with the experience, but if I had to say I understood the reason for its success, I'd say no...

Perhaps one of the most interesting places to eat in Modena, very authentic and quite unique, located on the first floor opposite the market. The food is excellent: the pasta is delicious, and the main courses are a good example of the local cuisine. The atmosphere is less touristy if you go when it first opens, but as the morning progresses, it gets very crowded and it's difficult to find a free table. The service is good, friendly, and attentive. I recommend it.

Excellent!! Came here for lunch while exploring Modena. Very friendly staff and amazing food. I had the tagliatelle with a ragu. Bellissimo!! Would definitely recommend. Grazie mille!

One of the best places I have visited in Italy. Amazing homestyle cooking. Nothing fancy, but pure bliss. The vibe is great. Reach there by 11:45 to get on the queue and to get a seat directly without having to wait much.

Tucked away upstairs in a building across from the market, this restaurant serves very authentic food of the region.
We ordered the gramigna pasta, lasagne clasico, and pork shank (meat fell right off the bone, roasted potatoes were also excellent) and everything was really good.
Very friendly service and delicious food, in a no nonsense restaurant, what more can you ask for. Recommend arriving a little earlier before the lunch time rush because it really fills up!

This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. There's no reservation required; you just line up and wait your turn. Plenty of tables inside, fast and friendly service, and excellent home-cooked food.

A place that feels like it's stuck in the '70s, so the space is quite basic, but the food is phenomenal. The homemade tortellini in broth are the best I've ever had. And the other dishes were above average, too. Highly recommended!

Family lunch. Everything was delicious. The food was traditional and homemade, as you'd expect from a trattoria. Thanks to a local lady who recommended this restaurant. The tortellini in broth were delicious, as were the fried gnocchi.
