12/07/2025: Two words: excellent restaurant. Top-quality food, especially the potato, leek, and scampi ravioli. Extremely kind, polite, and professional staff. Excellent setting in the center of Mantua. I recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Mantua. Prices are perhaps a little higher than average, but the speed and quality are worth the five stars.

25/06/2025: We sit down at 2:30 pm and the kitchen closes at 3:00 pm. They invite us to the restaurant and my partner and I have lunch. At 3:15 pm the manager or a member of the staff inside shouts at the waiter, incredulous "those two will go out of our way". I am shocked, I ask the waiter to tell his colleague to learn how to behave. Outrageous service, decent food. Your rudeness has made you lose a customer, but I don't think you care.

25/06/2025: In the past we have been there several times to eat gnocco and tigelle and everything has always gone well. The last time, in the fall, we were not happy, but we went back again a few weeks ago. On the website it was written that they opened at 19:30, so we arrived at 19:40. We were the first. A waiter sat us down, then continued to finish preparing the tables. At 20:05, while a group was coming in, he came to take our order. We waited a long time, then a medium tray of cold cuts arrived, some sauce, two small baskets of tigelle and gnocco. Soon everything was gone, so we asked if it was possible to have more (in the past, as soon as they saw the empty plates, they asked and came back with more food). After almost half an hour, a small tray arrived with some cold cuts and a basket with 2/3 tigelle and 2/3 gnocchi. I asked if it was possible to have more cold cuts and they said yes, but by paying €10 extra. I accepted, but then some gnocco and some tigelle were missing to finish the cold cuts and, from that moment, more than half an hour passed, then 4/5 pieces of gnocco and tigelle arrived. It was distressing, it felt like we were begging. No one came to ask if everything was okay and if we were okay. Finally, we would have liked 2 coffees and 2 desserts but, since no one else came to the table, even if there were few people, we got up and went to pay. We spent quite a lot, considering that we ate little and waited a long time. We will not return.

11/07/2025: You enter feeling satisfied and leave feeling confident. Attentive and punctual service, with a familiar atmosphere. The food is truly good, but the selection is limited.

23/06/2025: Very welcoming place, very kind and prepared staff, excellent quality of raw materials and it is reflected in the dishes. Very interesting menu and with many typical proposals of the area. From appetizers to desserts each dish has a care and a truly excellent taste! Also the wines of the area are very good. Very honest also the quality/price ratio. Super super recommended. I came back for the second time because the first one had already impressed me!

Professional and friendly service. Excellent wines, if you have any doubts you are advised and it is possible to taste depending on the dishes. You absolutely have to try them

31/05/2025: Weekend in Mantua and dinner for two in this trattoria found on the internet. We dined in the pleasant outdoor area covered by a beautiful pergola. We tasted an excellent ham, two typical first courses of the area and two second courses including the stracotto that could not be missed. All good Kind and helpful staff.. fair prices.

05/07/2025: Like others, I also looked for a place with typical cuisine. In fact, here they serve fried frogs and snails that I have not found elsewhere and that are perhaps the strong dishes because the ones I tried were not so good (rice, stew, pike). I must say that expectations were high and I did not leave satisfied, indeed I would say a little bitter about the final quality/price ratio.

30/06/2025: I followed the advice of many people who had already visited this tavern! I can only confirm how good the dishes are! The tavern is very close to the center, better to book in advance because it is always full and there is a good reason! Typical Mantua dishes and appetizers not only Mantua but also from other nearby cities with quality cheeses and cured meats! Very kind and above all fast staff :) Prices are normal. Super, super recommended!

16/06/2025: I was there with a group of friends, there were 13 of us, practically as if Jesus and 12 apostles had been there… The whole group agreed that we ate really well, even though we had different things to choose from What I definitely recommend are the gnocchi, which are exceptional, and the pumpkin tortelli
