28/05/2026: A simple trattoria serving Ligurian cuisine. The focus here is on authenticity, healthy food, and a fair price. The farinata is excellent, as is the tagliatella, which is delicious and well-cooked. The menu varies seasonally. I always love returning; highly recommended.

31/05/2026: We were back after a while. The quality, already high, has improved. The food was excellent. Pasquale's wife has added a touch of Asian taste which made the dishes even better. Service fine. Price reasonable considering the quality. Go, you won't be disappointed

18/04/2026: I ate like a god. I thought I'd spend a lot, but for a first course, second course, and dessert, I only paid 30 euros. Wonderful. The owners are very friendly and kind. I wanted to try the local specialties, and they suggested the testaroli with pesto (the best I've ever had) and stockfish accomodated. 10 out of 10. I'll gladly go back!

30/04/2026: This restaurant was definitely off the road but well worth the visit. It's pretty popular so if you get there during the lunch hour be prepared to wait. The food is definitely worth waiting for in the view is absolutely beautiful.

Mother and elderly aunt in the kitchen, daughters Mara and her sister in the dining room.
The truly excellent local cuisine, the atmosphere, and the family feel, along with excellent value, are unparalleled, so much so that it's worth traveling with my wife from Camogli two or three times a week.
A trattoria that's always busy, open only on weekdays and Sunday lunchtime, and not on Saturdays, because the goal isn't to maximize profits, but to support the family.
You can feel the beauty of the past, and I hope a place like this continues to exist.

24/06/2026: Truly excellent! Everything was excellent. It's the best pizza I've ever eaten, and I've been a customer for many years. The ingredients are top-quality, starting with the flours used for the dough. The pizza and cheese focaccia are excellent, but the focaccia is also delicious!! I must try them all!!! Impeccable service. The owner is always very kind and attentive to detail. Prices are definitely lower than the quality!! Beautiful, small, and quaint place.

26/06/2026: A family-run trattoria just above Sori. The location is nothing short of fabulous; believe me, you'll fall in love right away! But let's move on to the food: excellent, familiar dishes but executed very well. Of course, don't miss the famous stuffed focaccias, each one better than the last. Also noteworthy is the pork cheek, so tender you don't even need a knife. The price is reasonable, around €30 per person. The owners are very friendly. Reservations are highly recommended!

09/06/2026: I was very satisfied. I have lived in Genoa for 50 years but I have never been there. The lunch was all excellent, especially the farinata. The service was impeccable, and since I was alone I had the opportunity to share a table with kind gentlemen. I will definitely return and... what have I missed in these years...
08/06/2026: This is where I recently had the best farinata of my life, by far. And I’ve had many. But this one was special, perhaps because of the oven, the fourth-generation owner with 100 years of experience, or a very particular recipe. Either way, it’s one of a kind. Go there and enjoy!

10/05/2026: Authentic Genoese cuisine, carefully prepared dishes and a comprehensive wine list at excellent prices.
30/04/2026: I ordered pesto pasta and rabbit meat. The rabbit meat was delicious and had a real rustic feel, but it was a little tough.
There's a boxing gym in the building across from the restaurant, and during the day, spirited boxers are training there, shouting loudly, so if you're looking for a quiet atmosphere, dinner is probably a better option.

14/12/2025: I called for Sunday lunch at the last minute, there were 14 of us without a reservation and Christian and his wife welcomed us with a hospitality that is not always taken for granted, we ate and drank very well, the friends, some from Milan, that I brought were all satisfied ... 04/07/2026: For years, I've been going to Vittorio's place whenever I've been in Chiavari, sometimes for dinner, sometimes for lunch.
Everything is always delicious, and the service is exceptionally friendly. It closed this winter for renovations and remained closed for several months, but the wait was worth it. The place has been completely renovated and refurbished, while still maintaining that charming rustic feel. Congratulations.
They don't take reservations, and especially on Saturdays and Sundays, it's best to arrive a little before 7 pm for dinner.
