Very friendly staff, a breathtaking sea view, and above all, excellent food. The ravioli with wild boar sauce were excellent, and the pork cheek was as soft as butter, truly delicious. Fantastic experience, highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.

05/04/2026: Invited by friends I didn't know the place, almost 1.5 hours for pizzas that arrived at different times practically cold, as well as the desserts and coffee and in the end nothing special except a large bill.

14/02/2026: Unfortunately, the food was poor and the staff was rude. There were five of us and we tried many dishes on the menu, but nothing was redeeming except the chocolate cake for dessert.
We don't recommend it, sorry. The stars it has aren't realistic.

02/04/2026: The trattoria has been run by the Malatesta family for two centuries.
Mother and elderly aunt in the kitchen, daughters Mara and her sister in the dining room.
The truly excellent local cuisine, the atmosphere, and the family feel, along with excellent value, are unparalleled, so much so that it's worth traveling with my wife from Camogli two or three times a week.
A trattoria that's always busy, open only on weekdays and Sunday lunchtime, and not on Saturdays, because the goal isn't to maximize profits, but to support the family.
You can feel the beauty of the past, and I hope a place like this continues to exist.
22/03/2026: I had lunch today at Trattoria Malatesta, a place I'd been to as a child with relatives.
Absolutely recommended; everything was delicious and excellent value, with courtesy and customer service guaranteed.
I'll definitely be back! I highly recommend booking in advance, as they're almost always packed, especially on weekends.

The comics are fantastic everywhere, neatly displayed on the walls, the ceiling, in the bathroom, everywhere!
The dishes are excellent! The pansoti with walnut sauce are superb!
Mr. Fausto is very nice and all the staff are very kind.
In short...we'll be back soon!

09/03/2026: I expected more from this historic restaurant.
The farinata was well-cooked on one side with a pleasant crust, but on the other it was "mushy," as you can see in the photo!
We had the gorgonzola farinata, but we weren't expecting it to be so diced between two slices; we thought it was actually mixed in with the dough.
We were also disappointed that, despite arriving at opening time, half the main courses weren't available that day.
The place was too noisy; we had to share a table with strangers.
The service was generally inattentive and rushed!
The price for two small portions of farinata, a first course, a tiramisu, and a sparkling water was €40... a bit steep!
