08/09/2025: A step back in time. Simplicity, attention to food and guests. Very generous portions, and if that weren't enough... a second helping is always ready. Kudos to the entire staff. One piece of advice, though: you need to have plenty of time.

22/10/2025: A great find! During our Ligurian weekends, we loved it the first time, so we wanted to return. Located in the historic center, this restaurant offers traditional local cuisine, flavorful dishes, and generous portions. I loved the fritto misto and the cod fritters. It's a very popular, welcoming place, with very efficient and friendly staff. When you sit down, a basket of delicious focaccia is immediately waiting for you. The desserts are also very good. Pizza is also available. Excellent value. I definitely recommend it.

19/10/2025: We had dinner with ravioli with amberjack (fantastic!), spaghetti with seafood (fantastic), mixed fried fish and tender and sweet grilled calamari, all cooked to perfection! Highly recommended.

05/11/2025: Fantastic pizza and location!! I don't like shift service; I want to be free to leave whenever I want when I go out to eat.

31/10/2025: Excellent lunch with typical Genoese first courses (but don't forget the pansoti). A charming location next to the funicular terminus. Excellent service and very fair prices, especially considering the location.

17/10/2025: Had dinner on Thursday 16/10 and luckily found a place... Ligurian-style octopus, black and white gnocchi with fish ragù and... stuffed anchovies... top, very fair price and very attentive and courteous staff.

17/10/2025: Ugo is always a guarantee. When our Tuscan friends come to visit, we always go here because it's a great place and the food is divine. Last week was no exception. Fettuccine with pesto, amazing stuffed anchovies, excellent fried fish. Sacripantina and Camatti to top off a fantastic dinner. Fair prices!

17/10/2025: I confirm the positive reviews: I enjoyed the tricolor trofie with pesto, the delicious farinata, and a good Ciliegiolo wine...once again, this is an excellent restaurant.

30/10/2025: Terrible experience. I was there one evening this summer. We arrived just before 9 PM, having booked a quarter of an hour in advance. We literally waited an hour for some trofie. The waiters, innocently I imagine, tried to curb the pain by apologizing, but we weren't told either on the phone when we booked or when we ordered that there would be a wait. Finally, at the cash register, the owner (I presume) didn't even look at us or apologize, and we weren't even offered a liqueur or a small discount (say).

13/10/2025: Trattoria Paladini in Santa Margherita Ligure is a true gem of Ligurian cuisine. The atmosphere is authentic and welcoming, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the dishes showcase local tradition with simplicity and flavor. The fish is always fresh, the portions generous, and the quality is consistent. A must-visit for those seeking a genuine gastronomic experience, accompanied by impeccable service and excellent value. Highly recommended.

17/10/2025: A classic 1960s restaurant typical of the Ligurian hinterland, with extremely efficient and prompt service and a typically Ligurian welcome. The cuisine is medium-low, for those who are happy and on a budget. It's like eating at home, but grandma did her shopping at a discount store. No prices displayed. If you happen to pass by and forget to bring your own sandwich, it's fine.

14/10/2025: Everything was delicious. The wait was quite long.

01/10/2025: Probably one of the worst veal tonnato dishes. The steak was ordered rare, but it arrived on the grill well done. The bill was €55 for an appetizer, steak, side dish, and coffee, which was definitely overpriced given the quality of the food.

28/09/2025: Beppa is always Beppa and never disappoints. Not a place for snobs, but for those who love simple, traditional Ligurian cuisine. Very fair prices. Fast, friendly service. Do I have to say I'll be back again and again? Yes, I will.

21/10/2025: It was a small but delicious place on a side street. We opted for a snack of pasta, potatoes, and tiramisu for lunch. Their pesto pasta was absolutely delicious. The fact that it's open, especially at lunchtime when most places in the area are closed, is a huge advantage for tourists. While we didn't particularly enjoy the tiramisu, we found the food delicious.
