15/05/2025: Fantastic staff! The restaurant is right in the center and very easy to reach, ideal for eating typical Ligurian dishes, excellent quality/price ratio. Various menu with excellent appetizers, first and second courses HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

29/06/2025: Very good food, especially the pizza, fairly fast service, wonderful view. Worth the dinner. However, it is infernally hot, the upper room is ventilated only by a small ceiling fan, so perhaps better in a milder season. Also two nights in a row both Saturday and Sunday, there was a blackout that forced us to have dinner in the dark, discomfort among the diners and waiters, not exactly pleasant to have dinner without looking at each other for two nights in a row and with chaos between the orders. Coming down from the parking lot, street lamps and private lights were regularly on, so it is assumed that they are the ones generating an overload only in their area, but one night is a case, two is a real problem so in case make sure they have solved it first, so as not to have dinner in the dark.

29/06/2025: Tonight, June 28th, around 9:45 pm, the electricity went out. The entire place was in the dark because there were no emergency lights. Little by little, the tables around us were served and given farinata. After about 45 minutes, we asked about our pizzas. After about 10 minutes, we were told that our order had been lost and that they would “try” to make the pizzas. If we hadn’t mentioned it, no one would probably have noticed. We were served around 11:00 pm. When it came time to pay the bill, we were kindly given a discount of not even 5 euros on an expense of 70. Our table, among other things, was under a window on which a sign was taped that seemed to have been there for a long time, saying “broken window, do not touch”. I wonder where the most basic safety rules are in a place that tonight served, according to them, 400 people.

28/06/2025: Historic place in a very characteristic context. Ligurian cuisine and reasonable prices. The only flaw, if I may say so, is that it is always full and only if you go very early you do not have to wait.

25/06/2025: Here at Vittorio I found the old and typical trattoria You can't book if you want to eat you arrive and wait if it's full Anyway usually half an hour maximum the service is quick and fast, the girls are very kind Excellent quality/price ratio I really think if I return to Chiavari I'll return to Vittorio again Well done keep it up

01/07/2025: With my wife and a family of two friends we had dinner at this wonderful trattoria serving typical Ligurian cuisine located in the hamlet of Sant’Apollinare on the heights of Sori. We sat at one of the few tables on the outdoor terrace overlooking the sea and the promontory of Portofino. To get to the restaurant from Sori go up and head towards Sant’Apollinare and there is a small parking lot next to the Church but it is generally always full so you can park on the road below that leads to Sori. To have an outdoor table even during the week in summer they advised us to book at least 15 days in advance!!! We ordered; As an appetizer 2 focaccias with crido ham and stracchino, a focaccia with gorgonzola and Ligurian panissa similar in taste to chickpea farinata, which is in fact prepared with chickpea flour and water (without adding oil to the dough), to be eaten cold or fried. For starters: Trofie di farina bianca al pesto, pansoti alla salsa di noce (which our friend didn’t like) For main courses: 3 mixed grilled meats with chicken, pork loin, sausage, skewers For dessert: 2 lemon ice creams, a tiramisu and an amaretto semifreddo As mentioned, we were very satisfied with the starters, for the first courses except for the pansoti, for the second courses, the meat was delicious, abundant and for the desserts. The staff was welcoming, smiling, competent, friendly and helpful and the service was attentive, fast and the price was fair for the quality of the dishes. 17/06/2025: Ristorante trattoria situata a San Lorenzo. Cibo nella media, nulla di entusiasmante. Pansotti e trofie deludenti, buona la carne. Peccato per il servizio, lento e confusionario. Piatti serviti con lunghi tempi d’attesa e in momenti diversi lasciando diversi commensali senza mangiare. Cameriere gentili. Consigliato per i prezzi bassi per una cena senza pretese

28/05/2025: I recommend La trattoria da Paladini to anyone who wants to celebrate an important event or even just a day with friends polite staff Excellent menu For each course they asked if we wanted an encore It was my thirtieth wedding anniversary They set up our table With two large hearts hanging The lady made a beautiful two-tier cake Plus on the cake there was a couple of newlyweds from Thun which was given to me with the box included They created a beautiful, familiar and very suggestive environment A heartfelt thank you ❤️

18/06/2025: Davvero eccezionale, in pieno centro a Genova e piatti tipici davvero ottimi. A disposizione nostra per le richieste dei nostri due figli poco propensi ad assaggiare cose nuove 🥲 staff gentilissimo, tutti quanti. Grazie dal bambino sardo fissato con Mbappe 🤣 super consigliato!

05/06/2025: I have never used the place, and I never will. I received rudeness just because I was drinking a gin and tonic in front of it, it's shameful. Not even if I raised my voice or did any impudent act towards public decorum. A worker from the place approached me and said: "go away". The street is not yours and if you have problems in your private life you shouldn't take it out on someone who passes by there by chance, without any reason.

01/07/2025: Dinner on Saturday. Good appetizer, first courses: lean ravioli with ragù, fabulous, 10 out of 10, very tasty pappardelle. Second courses: Their fritto misto thrilled me, the fried boneless rabbit was good but a little dry. Average desserts. Served by a very willing and polite girl. The atmosphere was a little dry, almost rude, but relaxing. I just hope they put/fix the beer tap. The pros outshine the cons in any case and we all left happy.

18/06/2025: Located among the trees, in a pleasant location that is not easy to reach, well-packaged dishes, classic Ligurian menu, friendly service, it has a lot of room for improvement. Revisited and improved. Today they served me the best Ligurian mixed fried food I've ever tasted and amazing "mandilli de sea" with pesto!

23/06/2025: On May 31, 2025, around 17:00, I stopped by the restaurant after noticing one of the staff members writing on their signboard “Ask if we have a table.” Since I had already been wanting to try the place and it was just an hour before opening (they open at 18:00), I politely asked if there might be a spot for that evening at 18:00. The staff member replied rather curtly that they were fully booked. I found this confusing, as the signboard was actively being written at that very moment! Why invite people to inquire if there were no seats available? Later that evening, I passed by several times (the bistro is right next to one of the best views in town), and I noticed many empty tables even as late as 20:00, by which time I would’ve already finished dinner. Unfortunately, this interaction left a disappointing impression.

01/06/2025: Great location and sea view! Friendly and helpful staff! All tables were booked but we managed to get a table thanks to a last minute cancellation. Super delicious food especially the tuna tartare. I recommend!!

05/05/2025: Abbiamo trascorso il pranzo della vigilia del 24 dicembre all’Antica Trattoria da Ruscin, ed è stata un’esperienza davvero positiva. Atmosfera calda e accogliente, perfetta per una giornata speciale come quella natalizia. Il menù proposto era ricco e ben studiato, con piatti tradizionali preparati con cura. Tutto era gustoso, dalle portate iniziali fino ai dolci. Il servizio è stato attento e gentile, nonostante il locale fosse al completo. Una serata piacevole, in un ambiente familiare che ha saputo farci sentire a casa. Da tenere sicuramente in considerazione anche per future occasioni.

26/05/2025: I hadn't been to this restaurant for a while, so I have no idea if it has changed management or not in the meantime, but it was certainly a pleasant return. Everything was really delicious, generous portions and friendly staff. We will definitely return as soon as possible to confirm the excellent experience. I recommend!

21/06/2025: Authentic trattoria, friendly and helpful staff, with traditional menus and excellent prices. The only flaw, which does not depend directly on the restaurant, is that on Saturdays it is not easy to find parking with only one narrow street.

18/06/2025: A great place to visit. The food is truly delicious, homemade. I recommend the gnocchi with pesto and the panzotti with hazelnut sauce. The service is also first-rate.

13/06/2025: Ugo has been a regular stop for us when we visit Genoa for years. Their pesto is excellent. I recommend the Ligurian-style stockfish. Welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. To try and try again.

06/04/2025: Oggi ho mangiato da Moggia, 4 primi, 1 secondo mezzo litro acqua frizzante, 1 bottiglia di vino lager in 12 euro., 2 caffè tot. 105 euro, neanche fossimo in un 5 stelle. Il conto è arrivato su un pezzo di carta se a dettaglio. Trovo tutto ciò molto esoso e poco chiaro perché non è neppure stato consegnato il menù. Quindi state molto attenti !!! Chiedete prima i prezzi
