23/04/2026: The choice to serve a few classic, well-made dishes is spot on! Friendly and hospitable, the stuffed focaccias are truly delicious! Next up, we had pansotti in walnut sauce and trofie with pesto (in my opinion, the pansotti deserve a special mention over the trofie). For main courses, we chose veal with tuna sauce and pork cheek... I highly recommend the cheek because I don't know where else you can find it, DIVINE!!! Words can't describe such a well-made dish. All accompanied by a good house red wine. To finish, a whisky affogato. Very fair prices. The kitchen is very tidy and organized, even when busy, so well done! I recommend this trattoria and will definitely be back to enjoy the splendid view in addition to the good food. Keep up the good work!

The cuisine certainly deserves special mention: carefully prepared dishes, authentic flavors, and ingredients that immediately taste fresh and high-quality. Each course was beautifully presented and, above all, truly delicious, with that perfect balance of tradition and attention to detail that makes a dinner memorable. But the real added value of the evening was the service, particularly Ilaria's. It's rare to find someone who manages to combine professionalism, courtesy, and naturalness with such elegance. From the first moment, she welcomed us with a genuine smile, making us feel immediately at ease. Throughout the dinner, she was always present, yet never intrusive: attentive to every detail, ready to understand what we needed even before we had to ask. Ilaria demonstrated great skill in recommending the dishes, explaining them with passion and precision, clearly conveying her love for her work. Every recommendation she made proved spot-on and helped make the experience even more enjoyable. What's truly impressive is her ability to make every customer feel cared for with attention and genuine kindness, not with formality but with a genuine availability that's hard to find these days. Her service was impeccable from start to finish: perfect timing, constant attention, courteous manners, and a reassuring presence. It's thanks to people like her that a simple dinner becomes something more, a moment to remember and want to repeat. 27/04/2026: Restaurant on a pretty square by the church, quiet and sunny. Perfect location for lunch. My squid ink pasta with tomatoes was very good, but the portion was much smaller than the same dish served next to me in a much larger quantity. However, the spaghetti with bacon and Parmesan was too salty and hard to swallow. Very good wine selection. Thanks to the waitress who was excellent and knew everything. The pastries could be improved.

12/05/2026: Excellent food in a friendly atmosphere. The focaccia and pesto were top-notch.

13/05/2026: Classic farmhouse menu, tasty dishes. Service was very slow, which the owner explained was due to the unexpected absence of a server. We enjoyed the lovely outdoor setting despite the less than spring-like weather.

18/05/2026: There were three of us, and a friend asked for gluten-free pesto gnocchi. Our pesto fettuccine arrived, cold, but her gnocchi weren't, because they'd made a mistake and cooked them plain. While we waited, the owner went out of her way to bring her friend, who was left without a dish, a plate of octopus and potatoes. It seemed like a courtesy, a sort of apology for their mistake, but when it came time to get the bill, the octopus was added to the bill. Not even a discount or even an apology! I'll never go back. Terrible service, and the food was nothing special.

17/05/2026: Last night, we visited this stunning corner of Genoa for the third time. Everything was perfect. The place. The food was superb. The staff and service were truly wonderful. To those who criticized the tartare... well... this is the third time I've had it, and it's the best I've ever had in my life... I won't even mention the pesto because it's simply divine. I truly recommend it to everyone.

02/05/2026: The food and atmosphere have a homey feel. The dishes are typically Ligurian, with a touch of attention to quality and preparation, and the service is always courteous and helpful. The farinata is the best you'll find. They cook lasagna and asado in the wood-fired oven.

06/02/2026: Trattoria Da Marino is a surprise: when you see the entrance from the outside, it looks like a place from another era. Once you step inside, a world of traditional dishes opens up before you, along with attentive and friendly service and a decent price. There's a reason it's been open since 1922...

02/05/2026: Prejudicial... Disappointing experience. Unfortunately, the food was poor and I'm struggling to find any positive aspects, the bread was truly pleasant. The beef carpaccio, served as an appetizer, arrived frozen, even the plate was freezing. I asked not to make it again, also because it wasn't at all bland, practically tasteless, but they remade it and brought it back, and even though it wasn't cold, the result was the same. The first course of gnocchi was on par with those from a cheap discount store. My grandmother said gnocchi should melt in your mouth, but these wouldn't melt even after an hour, stringy, hard, unimaginable. Considering that I'm practically intolerant to sauce, my problem, I rarely eat it when and if it's worth it. Expectations were too high, spoiler: it wasn't worth it, and even if I'd had very low expectations, they would still have been above what we found... A mention for the mussels, which practically never arrived, which should have accompanied the gnocchi; they were dry, very small, and flavorless. A negative experience, apart from the service, kudos to the extremely helpful and overly qualified staff for the restaurant's cuisine. I'm convinced this is the only or one of the few negative reviews, but I've come to understand that people don't know how to eat anymore... what a shame.

26/04/2026: I've been to Bilaia Agriristorante twice now and have always had a great time. It's a perfect place for a romantic dinner or to celebrate something special. The atmosphere is truly beautiful, especially in the summer: I recommend asking for a table outside on the terrace overlooking the sea, because it's truly worth it. The dishes are delicious and quite scenic; you can see the attention to the ingredients; many of the dishes are homemade, and you can taste it. If you book, ask for a romantic dinner (I think it was included); they'll set your table with rose petals and other nice things, very nice for the occasion. They also have rooms, but I haven't tried them, so I can't comment on the accommodation. The only thing is that the plating, especially of the first and second courses, isn't Michelin-starred, but that's okay because it's an agriturismo. Overall, a very nice experience; I'd go back. Definitely try their specialty drinks; the rosemary-infused spritz is incredible.

14/10/2025: Delicious restaurant in the mountains! Please be very careful arriving and departing. Your stomach and taste buds will be excited and enamored with all of the delicious foods that you’ll be consuming! We enjoyed the house appetizers, salad, natural water, prosecco, gnocchi pesto, ravioli ragu, rabbit, dessert cake, and stracciatella gelato. All 10/10! Clean establishment. Restroom is clean and well stocked. Great prices! Great service! Great atmosphere!

We ordered the SEAFOOD MENU, which included: "Cuculli" (a welcome dish), seared tuna, avocado, pink grapefruit, turmeric mayonnaise, and caramelized onions; red shrimp "bottoni" (small rounds) with their bisque and toasted almonds; pistachio-crusted croaker (small drumstick) with sweet potato cream. Everything was delicious, with generous portions and friendly service. To finish, a surprise heart-shaped dessert with strawberries and chocolate. 06/04/2026: We booked 15 days ago but couldn't find a table, but then they fixed it after a while. It took us 4 hours to eat a set menu worse than a wedding. The inn was very chaotic, the food was poor, and the prices were like those of a major restaurant. Never again!
