22/06/2025: Dear owner, It's a shame to have to write a negative review when the kitchen does a good job. The pizza was really good, but the atmosphere you created with your rude and impolite attitude ruined everything. A smile, a kind tone, a minimum of availability: it didn't take much to make us feel welcome. Instead we were treated with condescension, almost as if we were a nuisance. A customer doesn't forget how he felt, more than what he ate. Go back to focusing on the quality of the pizza, but I suggest you think about how you treat those who come in the door. Because rudeness drives people away, even when the oven works well.

29/06/2025: Very good food, especially the pizza, fairly fast service, wonderful view. Worth the dinner. However, it is infernally hot, the upper room is ventilated only by a small ceiling fan, so perhaps better in a milder season. Also two nights in a row both Saturday and Sunday, there was a blackout that forced us to have dinner in the dark, discomfort among the diners and waiters, not exactly pleasant to have dinner without looking at each other for two nights in a row and with chaos between the orders. Coming down from the parking lot, street lamps and private lights were regularly on, so it is assumed that they are the ones generating an overload only in their area, but one night is a case, two is a real problem so in case make sure they have solved it first, so as not to have dinner in the dark.

29/06/2025: Tonight, June 28th, around 9:45 pm, the electricity went out. The entire place was in the dark because there were no emergency lights. Little by little, the tables around us were served and given farinata. After about 45 minutes, we asked about our pizzas. After about 10 minutes, we were told that our order had been lost and that they would “try” to make the pizzas. If we hadn’t mentioned it, no one would probably have noticed. We were served around 11:00 pm. When it came time to pay the bill, we were kindly given a discount of not even 5 euros on an expense of 70. Our table, among other things, was under a window on which a sign was taped that seemed to have been there for a long time, saying “broken window, do not touch”. I wonder where the most basic safety rules are in a place that tonight served, according to them, 400 people.

01/07/2025: Excellent restaurant. Quiet atmosphere. Good service. And very good food. The tiramisu is definitely the best!

30/06/2025: The food was delicious and the service was impressively fast. However, the noise level was quite high which made it a bit hard to fully relax and enjoy.

16/06/2025: I went to Rosmarino on Saturday night to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. The ingredients were good, but the quantity/price ratio was very poor compared to other Slow Food restaurants I've been to. For example, I paid €17 for a dish with a skewer on which six calamari had been skewered and I had to pay for the side dish separately (€7 for some tomatoes). Luckily I wasn't that hungry, otherwise I would have left the table with a rumbling stomach. The only real flaw was the waiters who cleared our table when we still had the last bite in our mouths, a bit like they wanted to free up the seat right away... A real shame, because the excellent location would make the trattoria a beautiful place to eat in the evening. Despite everything, compliments again to the chef for the dessert of sweet focaccia and artisanal ice cream 😊

15/06/2025: First time in Genova and to not come to this place would be your worst mistake! Pasta and meat simply incredible, just come!

14/06/2025: Great place to eat great Genoese food. The portions are normal not exaggerated, the prices are moderate. Overall I recommend it!

13/06/2025: Ugo has been a regular stop for us when we visit Genoa for years. Their pesto is excellent. I recommend the Ligurian-style stockfish. Welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. To try and try again.

05/07/2025: The inn is typical, furnished in a simple and rustic way with wooden tables and stools. I ordered farinata with cheese, good and fried anchovies, because there were no stuffed ones; the fried food is good and crunchy, I would have liked it if there had been a chopped cherry tomato and a dollop of mayonnaise (maybe prepared in the kitchen) to soften the crunchiness, overall I am satisfied and would return, price €26.

29/06/2025: The kingdom of farinata and vegetable pies and a cheese .... (which I hope to write well) prescinseua. To try, in addition to the farinata (classic for me) the rice cake and the chard cake. All delicious. The place has a charm in its simplicity and in its being kept vintage. Very kind staff and quick to turn the tables. I can't wait to go back .... Thanks Giorgio for taking me!!!

28/06/2025: Historic place in a very characteristic context. Ligurian cuisine and reasonable prices. The only flaw, if I may say so, is that it is always full and only if you go very early you do not have to wait.

25/06/2025: Here at Vittorio I found the old and typical trattoria You can't book if you want to eat you arrive and wait if it's full Anyway usually half an hour maximum the service is quick and fast, the girls are very kind Excellent quality/price ratio I really think if I return to Chiavari I'll return to Vittorio again Well done keep it up

03/07/2025: I discovered this restaurant by chance. The portions are plentiful and despite the fact that they use frozen products I must say that the taste and condiments are good. The cleanliness of the place leaves much to be desired. We had a table near the wall of the place, on the bar service side, and I noticed several insects climbing from a corner of the floor where some crates of drinks were stored. The bathrooms were slippery and not very clean. The waiters did their best to manage the room but at a certain point I also noticed a bit of confusion between the owner and the waiters. In short, without too many demands, I would improve the cleanliness and coordination between the staff.

30/06/2025: All substance, no frills, just great service, fast and efficient and great value for money. For those who love substance beyond appearances, also a very nice owner who (especially in Genoa :)) makes the difference.. 5 stars.

29/06/2025: A stop in Lavagna, all a surprise from the equipped beach comfortable and well served. Discovering this splendid restaurant with simple cuisine and for good Taste, with professional and kind staff. Value for money 10.

19/06/2025: We were suggested this restaurant from a lovely lady at another restaurant which didn’t have enough on the menu that our family would eat, not really fish eaters. Best meal we have had in Italy in the past 4 weeks. This place is amazing food, staff and value. We don’t need fancy decor we just need good food and this place has it in spades. The staff were friendly and helpful with the menu as it was in Italian, we ordered the most beautiful rigatoni with meat sauce, spaghetti with spicy and ravioli with meat sauce, pepperonata and aubergines and salad. Everything came out fast and tasty! Loved it all. And when the bill came I questioned it all the way back to the apartment as it didn’t seem anywhere near enough! Highly recommend eating here if you want authentic meals with none of the frills just good service and a great space.

13/06/2025: Posti ruspanti e genuini come non ce né sono più! La trattoria offre sicuramente una tra le soluzioni più economiche di Genova in un' atmosfera molto familiare ideale per mangiare bene in pausa pranzo o da turista senza dover spendere cifre astronomiche. Tovaglie a quadretti, personale gentile, menù dalle poche portate ma buone cucinate in modo casalingo. In questa trattoria ci deve andare chi sa cosa cerca e sa che può rinunciare ai fronzoli in nome dell' autenticità. Consigliato!!

21/06/2025: Authentic trattoria, friendly and helpful staff, with traditional menus and excellent prices. The only flaw, which does not depend directly on the restaurant, is that on Saturdays it is not easy to find parking with only one narrow street.

18/06/2025: A great place to visit. The food is truly delicious, homemade. I recommend the gnocchi with pesto and the panzotti with hazelnut sauce. The service is also first-rate.
