Truly typical, starting from the location, rustic, well-kept, very welcoming and with a convivial atmosphere. You chat very easily with your "neighbors" at the table, who have been coming to eat in this place for years. The dining room staff was also impeccable, and not only polite, but also very nice. Speaking of the menu, I finally tasted the authentic pesto, the good one! And in really generous portions. But also mesciua, a traditional soup from La Spezia. And the muscle and anchovy appetizer, which I'm not a big fan of, was cleaned up nicely. The cheese cake was excellent, I didn't like the trifle, but that's not a good enough reason not to deserve full marks! For what we ate, its quality and the service, the bill is even too honest. Nothing but hell...

06/04/2024: Nice place with tables inside and tables outside. The portions are generous and the quality/price ratio is very good. The staff is friendly and always present, but not annoying. Excellent tagliatelle with pesto, I'm not local, but I've never eaten such good pesto. The second courses are also good and plentiful. The choice of first and second courses varies between meat and fish. There are also vegetarian dishes.

01/04/2024: One of my favorite restaurants in Alassio. Away from the tourist "traffic", the restaurant, an old-time trattoria, brings with it an authentic vintage charm. Always crowded, especially on weekends; sometimes it is very difficult to book. Traditional menu with typical Ligurian cuisine. The pesto gasse are not to be missed. The sweet pancakes offered at the end of the meal are the icing on the cake. Adequate prices!

30/03/2024: I would like to point out that the review concerns exclusively the service, since I did not have the opportunity to eat either lunch or dinner. We arrive at the club, a few people are queuing outside. We enter to ask and understand if there was room and possibly how long we had to wait. The lady at the entrance changed her mind several times, first asking us to wait and then telling us there was no room. Shortly afterwards he tells us that if we had wanted, there would have been a 30 minute wait. However, once we went outside to consider whether to wait or not, we saw and heard the alleged owner of the place calling her friend telling her that a place had become free for her (even though we and other people had arrived before her).

31/03/2024: We made a reservation for this restaurant for today. As it is Easter we got the confirmation via whatsapp and arrived here for lunch 5 mins before reservation time. And surpriseeeeee, restaurant is closed. What a shame for a Michelin recommended restaurant👎🏻dont count on your reservation

25/03/2024: Da Vittorio is a historic restaurant in Chiavari and a point of reference for those who want to eat in the Genoese tradition. Clean and welcoming place, tables also outdoors, ideal in spring and/or summer. You can't book but you can always find a place even after a short wait. Highly recommended, you can eat well in the gloomy/Genoese culinary tradition, here we focus on the point and not the externals. It is also possible to buy take-away food, my favorite dishes are the cima, the Russian salad which is not the Piedmontese one, the cima is the minestrone alla Genovese.
