21/05/2025: Our favourite restaurant throughout our 2.5 weeks trip around Europe! The restaurant manager or owner (unsure of which) was the most helpful we’ve ever experienced where he took us through the menu and his recommendations. The real highlight though was the food itself - not only the best we had in Italy, but also super affordable! The walnut sauce pasta and seafood pastas were to die for. Highly recommend this place, 11/10!!!

21/05/2025: A beautiful trattoria with kind and attentive staff and an eye on Genoese tradition. The farinata was superb, cooked beautifully on top and bottom and just the right amount of softness in the centre. Also worth trying are the cheese focaccias. The booking tour based on theater time is also priceless.

07/06/2025: Excellent food and a great atmosphere! We didn't have a reservation and only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table to open. The wait was absolutely worth it: the food was delicious, fresh, and lovingly prepared. The service was friendly and attentive. I can definitely recommend it!

30/05/2025: If you dream of a full-blown Fantozzian experience — like the one with Miss Silvani at the Japanese restaurant — this is definitely the right place. Here too, in fact, you pay to receive rudeness and bad manners. A true masterpiece of hospitality in reverse. Jokes aside, the food is good, nothing to complain about. But the hospitality... let's just say "in perfect textbook Genoese style", with all the coldness, dryness and acidity that this entails. A welcome so edgy that it makes you reevaluate the coffee machines in 24-hour shops. As for the positive comments you read around, it makes you think they are written by those who have immersed themselves so much in the spirit of the experience that they have developed a slight Stockholm syndrome. Otherwise, frankly, it can't be explained. In conclusion: since we are not talking about starred cuisine, but about typical dishes of the Ligurian tradition, perhaps it is better to stay home and make yourself a rice cake. It's simple, it's genuine, and the result will likely be more satisfying — without having to endure scowls or curt responses.

18/05/2025: We are from Venice and for 20 years we have been returning to this magnificent place every holiday we have on the French Riviera. Amazing cuisine, magnificent raw materials, top hospitality. The attached photos speak for themselves.

05/06/2025: I went there for the first time towards the end of May 25 on the advice of friends. Typical updated place in a typical Genoese portico. The "cruditè" is famous and much appreciated in addition to other appetizers. The abundant first courses are good. But after that it is very difficult to be able to taste anything else. It's a shame because my passion is breaded anchovies and stuffed mussels but you can't always have everything on hand. I also appreciated the house white wine mondo. Recommended
