25/12/2025: There's no need to mention it, but I'd like to emphasize its confirmation. Christmas lunch 2025 was excellent, with 12 tasting courses of fish-based appetizers that alone were worth the entire meal, such as ravioli with herbs and DOC ragù, etc. A fixed menu meal including drinks and a Moscato wine to finish. Plus, Adriana's friendliness... all at a reasonable price in a family atmosphere. Thank you and well done.

03/02/2026: We had a great time, the pesto was delicious, and the service was attentive and helpful. I really enjoyed the desserts, some of which you won't find elsewhere; they're original and made with local Ligurian ingredients. The only small flaw was the ravioli au tuccu served with plain tomato sauce, but since we didn't have much time to clear the table, we didn't return it. I have to admit, they were absolutely delicious, despite that.

17/02/2026: The place is very popular, so you need to book in advance, otherwise you'll have to wait hours for a table to open up. They offer very good typical Ligurian dishes at affordable prices, which isn't a given. We've been there several times 👍

15/03/2026: Excellent trattoria! I ate truly delicious fish, all fresh and very well cooked. The dishes were plentiful and full of flavor. The quality-price ratio is also excellent, which is not a given when eating fish. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming. Recommended for those who want to eat well without spending too much. I'll definitely be back! 🐟🍽️

06/03/2026: Why not? It's been a while since I've been back. A very pleasant business lunch, with seafood appetizers, mixed fried fish, and a "revisited" tiramisu, unique but delicious. It's nice to know that even after all these years, it's still a trusted favorite.

02/03/2026: We booked at the last minute, but they still found us a seat despite the cold day (so everyone was inside). The small place can be a bit noisy if there are unruly children 🤣🤣 The food was good, even presented in an unexpected way (friggitelli peppers season the pasta like a smoothie), and the fried food was simply perfect. The service wasn't the fastest, but they were very kind.

03/03/2026: Terrible evening. Genoa in lockdown, we arrived late, anxious to eat quickly because of the two shifts. It was pouring outside, water coming in through the window, and people were being moved around with pizza in their mouths. We ordered plain water, which arrived cold, four individual pizzas arrived by the meter, the farinata was left over because it was frozen, and to top it off, it was freezing cold. Many people ate in their jackets, including us, but is that even allowed? It's a shame how many Genoese have potential but don't exploit it. A wonderful place on three floors, two of which are always closed to concentrate everyone on the terrace during shifts. Absurd, never again.

03/03/2026: Let me start by saying we had made a reservation and had already been notified by phone that we would have to vacate the table at 9:30 PM. As soon as we entered, the smell of smoked caciotta cheese, or something similar, was truly strong and nauseating. We arrived at 7:30 PM and were sent upstairs, where it was quite chilly. We each ordered a pizza, and the waitress, who wasn't at all friendly, told us it would be better if we ordered by the metre so as not to clog up the orders. Unfortunately, the place was almost empty at the time, so since she said we could choose four toppings for a metre of pizza, she said we could order one metre of pizza. There were eight of us, and it was difficult to agree on a solution. In the end, she made the decision, and the other metre was a Recco-style focaccia, which was also awful: the cheese was rubbery. We brought a cake since it was a birthday, and they charged us €12 for the cake service, which I thought was excessive. At 8:30 pm we were still seated and they were already clearing our table. If I'd known, I would have eaten standing downstairs in the warmth, so we could have left even faster. I hope I never have to go back!

14/10/2025: Delicious restaurant in the mountains! Please be very careful arriving and departing. Your stomach and taste buds will be excited and enamored with all of the delicious foods that you’ll be consuming! We enjoyed the house appetizers, salad, natural water, prosecco, gnocchi pesto, ravioli ragu, rabbit, dessert cake, and stracciatella gelato. All 10/10! Clean establishment. Restroom is clean and well stocked. Great prices! Great service! Great atmosphere!

17/03/2026: Welcoming place, friendly staff, but the food isn't the best. I think there are better places in Genoa. We had the fettuccine with pesto, and it wasn't anything special. The pasta was cold, and the pesto was cold.

19/03/2026: A truly pleasant discovery. I've been coming to Lavagna for a few years but had never considered this place. A truly lovely location; we ate in the back in a truly beautiful garden. Excellent service, truly good food, and excellent value. Highly recommended and definitely worth repeating.

05/01/2026: A truly authentic Italian restaurant located in a mountain village. Inside, you have a wonderful panoramic view over the forest and can warm yourself by a cozy wood-burning stove. The ambiance is rustic, yet the dining room is very bright, and in summer you can also sit outside. We had ravioli with sage and gnocchi. Both dishes were delicious and homemade. The service was friendly and very attentive. Many of the guests seemed to know the owner and were from the area. Card payments are accepted.

29/12/2025: I went to Au Casun for Christmas lunch and it was a wonderful surprise! The restaurant is well-known and appreciated in the area, but I'd personally never eaten there. There were three of us and we all ate wonderfully, but I really have to thank them for their willingness to prepare a vegan menu for me, even though they don't usually do so. We'd asked if they could make something vegan when we booked, which isn't a given for Christmas lunch, and they assured us they could, but we weren't expecting such attention! They prepared an excellent lentil ragù, a seitan stew, and a chocolate and avocado mousse. Everything was delicious! Vegans know how hard it is to find dishes like this in non-vegan restaurants, and even rarer is their commitment to offering a good, non-improvised plant-based lunch. So, a heartfelt thank you! Even the more traditional dishes were delicious, especially the guinea fowl and the desserts!
