03/05/2026: We came to Censin on the recommendation of someone who had already dined there, and our expectations were fully met! A rare osteria, one of those we all long for but are so hard to find these days. Typical Ligurian home cooking, excellent quality ingredients, and generous portions. Fast and very pleasant service. Fairly priced. We'll be back!

11/05/2026: A hidden gem! A small, discreet restaurant nestled among the large terraces overlooking the sea. The raw fish and seafood appetizers are truly worth the trip. The fish of the day with citrus is also a delight. Impeccable service, always with a big smile. I highly recommend this gem!

14/12/2025: I called for Sunday lunch at the last minute, there were 14 of us without a reservation and Christian and his wife welcomed us with a hospitality that is not always taken for granted, we ate and drank very well, the friends, some from Milan, that I brought were all satisfied ... 23/04/2026: The choice to serve a few classic, well-made dishes is spot on! Friendly and hospitable, the stuffed focaccias are truly delicious! Next up, we had pansotti in walnut sauce and trofie with pesto (in my opinion, the pansotti deserve a special mention over the trofie). For main courses, we chose veal with tuna sauce and pork cheek... I highly recommend the cheek because I don't know where else you can find it, DIVINE!!! Words can't describe such a well-made dish. All accompanied by a good house red wine. To finish, a whisky affogato. Very fair prices. The kitchen is very tidy and organized, even when busy, so well done! I recommend this trattoria and will definitely be back to enjoy the splendid view in addition to the good food. Keep up the good work!

But the real added value of the evening was the service, particularly Ilaria's. It's rare to find someone who manages to combine professionalism, courtesy, and naturalness with such elegance. From the first moment, she welcomed us with a genuine smile, making us feel immediately at ease. Throughout the dinner, she was always present, yet never intrusive: attentive to every detail, ready to understand what we needed even before we had to ask. Ilaria demonstrated great skill in recommending the dishes, explaining them with passion and precision, clearly conveying her love for her work. Every recommendation she made proved spot-on and helped make the experience even more enjoyable. What's truly impressive is her ability to make every customer feel cared for with attention and genuine kindness, not with formality but with a genuine availability that's hard to find these days. Her service was impeccable from start to finish: perfect timing, constant attention, courteous manners, and a reassuring presence. It's thanks to people like her that a simple dinner becomes something more, a moment to remember and want to repeat. In conclusion, Montallegro is a restaurant I absolutely recommend not only for its excellent cuisine, but also for the quality of its hospitality. 27/04/2026: Restaurant on a pretty square by the church, quiet and sunny. Perfect location for lunch. My squid ink pasta with tomatoes was very good, but the portion was much smaller than the same dish served next to me in a much larger quantity. However, the spaghetti with bacon and Parmesan was too salty and hard to swallow. Very good wine selection. Thanks to the waitress who was excellent and knew everything. The pastries could be improved.

A series of local “surprise” dishes, from antipasti, to primi and secondi and of course dessert, all of them super great! It was a bit weird in the beginning that you don’t know what dish is coming next, but eventually all were great! Wine recommendation was very good as well. Totally recommended, we will go again for sure! Better to book in advance!
