14/12/2025: I called for Sunday lunch at the last minute, there were 14 of us without a reservation and Christian and his wife welcomed us with a hospitality that is not always taken for granted, we ate and drank very well, the friends, some from Milan, that I brought were all satisfied ... 29/06/2026: Hell will show you - precooked pasta - soup that tasted burnt - limp fried food Sure, it's cheap, but it's better to go get a pizza, and especially when you see that two out of four dishes are returned, ask yourself a few questions, especially because maybe someone who knows what they're talking about will drop by your place. Service could be improved, and I'd definitely make the waitress spit out her cigarette the first thing I did!!!!

15/07/2026: We went to this place to try the farinata. Unfortunately, the wait was truly excessive: practically biblical. When we ordered, we were told that the farinata would be served first and then the pizza, but that wasn't the case. We asked for water, which arrived after about 25 minutes. Next came the pizza, and only an hour and a quarter later did the farinata arrive. The farinata was crispy on the outside but completely soft and almost raw on the inside. When we commented, we were told that "Ligurians make farinata like this," an explanation that didn't convince us. The service was inattentive: the waitress was inadequate, while the owner was courteous, although perhaps struggling to manage a situation of obvious disorganization. To make matters worse, the restaurant was unbearably hot, with only one fan for the entire room. We had booked for 11 people, but we were seated at two separate tables. In short, a decidedly negative experience, which we will not repeat.

05/07/2026: I've been going to this historic restaurant for 30 years....it has lost a bit of its appeal over the years....especially because the management has changed significantly...they bring everything together at a small table and you can't enjoy a leisurely dinner, not to mention that in the summer, in July, it closes for 2 weeks for holidays!!

22/04/2026: This restaurant is truly worth the trip, despite the distance and its location in the small village of Torre Papone. If you're unfamiliar with the area, it's not always easy to find the first time, and you have to walk a bit to get there… but that's part of the charm of the experience. The setting is simply magical: an original restaurant located in an old cave carved into the rock, in the heart of the village. An unusual place full of character. The food is excellent, the service is impeccable, and the welcome is equally warm, making the experience even more enjoyable. In short: a unique place, as beautiful to see as it is to eat. I highly recommend this extraordinary experience.

07/04/2026: Set menu for Easter: 4 appetizers, 2 first courses, 2 second courses, dessert, and coffee. Everything was good, with some dishes being very good/excellent. It's nice that they often offer second helpings.

01/06/2026: To get there by car, the road is extremely narrow and winding, perhaps for this reason. The place is authentic and original. The fixed menu at €30 per person, including a bottle of wine of your choice, is excellent value: - High-quality cured meats, equally high-quality cheeses, frittata with local herbs, and fried focaccia (I don't remember the name, but it's delicious and unique) - Handmade gnocchi with pesto - Pansotti with borage and marjoram with red meat sauce - Grilled sausage and ham with baked potatoes - Panna cotta with rose jelly (incredibly fragrant and flavorful) - Apricot tart - Homemade limoncello - Coffee - Bottle of Dolcetto di Dogliani €30 per adult and €15 per child. If you're not afraid of curves and narrow roads, this little gem, just 15 minutes from Voltri, is a must-see!

15/07/2026: Excellent restaurant. Mixed appetizer of the freshest seafood, followed by fish à la raieu with potatoes and olives and a very flavorful sauce. To finish, the fiordilatte ice cream with rose syrup was delicious and refreshing. Our only complaint was that other customers were smoking between courses; having the smell of cigarettes while eating out isn't a good thing. Also, another guest was watching videos at high volume on his phone while eating. This ruined the atmosphere a bit.

01/07/2026: The staff are friendly and helpful, and the quality of the ingredients is at reasonable prices. Reservations are recommended; it's always difficult to find a spot, because EVERYTHING here is DELICIOUS. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, but the dishes are true masterpieces. I recommend it for both lunch and dinner. Don't forget to try their appetizer selection, available only in the evening—EXCELLENT.

10/05/2026: For us, a reference point in Savona. Located in the beautiful setting of the Savona dock. Excellent selection of dishes. Unbeatable value for money, it's one of my top recommendations for anyone who asks where to eat in Savona.

08/07/2026: Delicious pizza, pizzata, and cheese focaccia! As always... This isn't the first time I've eaten here with friends, and I've always been satisfied. A note for this evening: there were 22 of us, with a reservation at 7:30 PM. We knew they had shifts, and they told us we couldn't stay past 9:30 PM anyway, as the restaurant would be fully booked for the second shift. We ate with the waiters constantly present, telling us the time, and at 9 PM we were told we couldn't have dessert. But that's not all: we stayed nearby to enjoy the panoramic view and noticed that, from 9:30 PM until closing, many tables remained empty! Perhaps we could have had dessert, but what a shame...
