06/06/2025: Davvero tutto eccellente...Spettacolari i mandilli al pesto e pure le tagliatelle ai funghi. Ottimi gli arrosti e i contorni cipolle/peperoni. Tutto cucinato benissimo e ben presentato, servizio attento, titolari cordiali e gentilissimi. Torneremo! p.s. piccolissimo appunto, manca in effetti il menù con un prezzi, che tuttavia si sono rivelati più che onesti.

28/05/2025: Walking in and finding it packed on a Tuesday night says a lot about a place. Ask if there's a seat even though you haven't booked and you're seated in a minute. Simple place, simple staff, simple food. With pesto lasagna like this it will be difficult to try something else next time...

24/05/2025: For a few years now, when we are on vacation, we have been coming to dinner at Bastian Contrario, what can I say, the quality of the food is excellent, from the focaccia (amazing) to the meat and fish. The staff is always very kind and attentive to the needs of the customers. The owner is very friendly. What can I say, simply thank you for being there.

17/05/2025: Can't recommend it. For us, it was just a waste of time. The house red wine was truly undrinkable! Never again.

01/06/2025: Always a safe bet to have lunch with them. Comfortable and clean environment, splendid veranda with view on the valley. Excellent and efficient service with courteous and smiling staff. Excellent food from appetizers to first courses passing through second courses and ending with desserts.

24/05/2025: Certainly a little more expensive than others... but money well spent, all the dishes are excellent, with the right portions, the cellar is very well stocked, the waiters are kind and attentive, the owners are very attentive, the area is a green oasis, in short a confirmation after about 20 years... 18/05/2025: Invited to a family dinner for a confirmation. Typical Genoese trattoria, good food, generous portions, very kind and professional service. A lot of attention also to my autistic nephew who is not exactly an easy customer. We will return with pleasure.

12/05/2025: Beautiful little restaurant-trattoria, cozy atmosphere, attentive service and excellent food. Finally, a very honest price, 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children) ate our fill spending €80. An appetizer, 4 first courses, a mixed fried dish and a portion of chips, half a liter of still house white wine (excellent) and a bottle of still water. Generous portions. If you pass through Rapallo it's a great place to stop and eat!

11/05/2025: Restaurant where you eat very well. The appetizer to share was very good and the dessert really excellent. Everything we tasted was good! We came in 2020 and we had good memories. We were not disappointed! Always very good! We'll come back!

22/04/2025: A little pearl in the historic center: high-level Genoese cuisine, adequate wine list, dishes that are memorable (branda, cuttlefish with purple potatoes, black lasagnette, pumpkin gnocchi with fried artichokes and speck, stockfish just to name a few). Going to Gaia is a treat for the palate and a reward for yourself. You can taste and chat, away from the daily rush, in total relaxation.

19/04/2025: An absolute must place to visit when in Genova! The food is fresh, authentic and simply delicious 😋 We love it so much that often go for lunch and dinner!

31/05/2025: For the food we ate, this restaurant is really too expensive. We didn't like the stuffed calamari. If you order the meatballs in sauce, expect 3 meatballs of questionable taste for €12. Pasta with normal pesto, without green beans or potatoes... nothing exceptional. The house white wine was very good. Maybe we are not used to these flavors, but here in Chiavari we found much better. Incomprehensible prices. In short... terrible quality/price ratio.
