06/08/2024: Extraordinary: absolutely not to be missed!!! Omar is an exceptional chef, he researches and combines fresh seasonal foods in an excellent way, he cooks fish in a sublime way. The homemade desserts and cantucci conclude in an excellent way a lunch/dinner that you will not forget. The price is absolutely competitive because the quality is truly exceptional. If you are in the area don't miss the opportunity to eat there. Only advice: book early!!!

06/08/2024: I grew up as a tourist in Giustenice, I have known the Capalla restaurant for 57 years, since its first owner Mr. Capalla, a man who knew how to create a mix of great cuisine, conviviality, friendship, entertainment and above all valorising local products. After him a great daughter who followed in her father's footsteps and together with her husband was able to continue to give local flavors to all her guests, yes guests not customers, because the pleasure in this restaurant is to sit at the table and savor the excellent dishes and feel pampered. Now the reins have passed to his son Simone, a great restaurateur, he has been able to maintain those old and genuine flavors by bringing a bit of his art that makes this place special! 06/07/2024: Un locale dove gustare i veri piatti della tradizione ligure, fatti come una volta. Il servizio è cortese e veloce. Il cibo è particolare, non “addomesticato” e molto buono. Eccezionali le acciughe ripiene e i dolci.

10/08/2024: I am going to write this comment in FRENCH, yes yes in FRENCH to complain about the deplorable behavior of the cook this lunchtime. It seems that your life is making you bitter? Is it the mid-life crisis that makes you unpleasant and unfunny? When ordering I ask for two dishes in English, the cook tells me to talk to him in French and not in English, why? Perhaps the gentleman wanted to check his poor B2 level, and he will have plenty of time to do so by reading my comment. The grumpy cook tells me that in Italy we speak Italian, well I'm going to teach you something my little man, it's the tourists who keep your chip shop running. So yes, the reflex is to use English, an international vernacular, and no, you are not the center of the world. You sell lasagna and fried squid, you are neither a local star nor a Michelin restaurant.

20/07/2024: Bad experience....the only dish that saves is pansotti with walnut sauce...ravioli to the touch...Italian-style mixed fried food and poor quality dessert....food not in line with the price...not I will never go back there again

07/07/2024: I had dinner with my family with two little girls. The reception and the staff were impeccable, very kind and helpful. I can overlook the green plastic chairs and tables but at least I would have appreciated a bigger tablecloth more. The bathrooms are clean and equipped even for little ones with an attached changing table. Speaking of food, the portions are generous, we only ordered one type of starter and three types of first course, the ravioli to the touch were the best, then we moved on to the dessert because they were too full and of all the best was the ricotta and chocolate with pistachio cream and then lemon sorbets. Mine is a little heavy. The value for money is right. I will definitely return and highly recommend it.

08/08/2024: Unpretentious restaurant, but where you eat well. The location leaves its mark as it is an old trattoria, but clean, the food is good, fresh and the staff and owner are affable, friendly and approachable. Ligurian and non-Ligurian cuisine. There is no menu: they list 5 alternatives for first courses and 5 for second courses. Obviously you will only find out at the checkout how much you spent. Overall I would go back. I advise
