02/11/2025: --- I ate at Ostaia a Ribotta in Genoa on October 29th with my wife, and the experience was truly enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious dishes, especially the trenette al pesto and the mandilli al pesto, which were authentic and rich in flavor. Among the daily specials, we chose an excellent cod, cooked with great care. To conclude, dessert: a delicate rhubarb jelly accompanied by a sautéed fresh strawberry, a combination that won us over. The courtesy of the owner and all the staff was remarkable; they made us feel truly welcomed and cared for with kindness. 15/10/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance while out riding with biker friends. We were drawn in by the photos of the dishes. We immediately knew it was the perfect place to enjoy traditional Ligurian cuisine. The appetizers were generous. The first courses were tasty and generous. All this was accompanied by the friendly host, who made us enjoy a full tourist experience with a touch of humor and lightheartedness. We'll definitely be back. AMPLE PARKING NEXT TO THE PLACE.

23/10/2025: Passing by chance, or rather, getting lost in the village streets, I noticed this small and charming Osteria, as it once was. It has a small kitchen, wonderful staff who are kind and attentive to my requests, and to finish, some sweet music. Typical local cuisine, including that delicious Brandacujun dish. I highly recommend it!

02/11/2025: Well, there's not much to add to the 5-star rating: excellent, homemade cuisine, exquisite and friendly service, and a unique seaside setting!! Highly recommended; not going would be a waste.

30/10/2025: Terrible experience. I was there one evening this summer. We arrived just before 9 PM, having booked a quarter of an hour in advance. We literally waited an hour for some trofie. The waiters, innocently I imagine, tried to curb the pain by apologizing, but we weren't told either on the phone when we booked or when we ordered that there would be a wait. Finally, at the cash register, the owner (I presume) didn't even look at us or apologize, and we weren't even offered a liqueur or a small discount (say).

13/10/2025: Trattoria Paladini in Santa Margherita Ligure is a true gem of Ligurian cuisine. The atmosphere is authentic and welcoming, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the dishes showcase local tradition with simplicity and flavor. 18/10/2025: Excellent rabbit ravioli, wild boar stew with cloves and juniper berries (one of the best wild boar I've ever tasted), delicious zuppa inglese. Highly recommended.

06/10/2025: The prices aren't those of a tavern, but rather those of a restaurant. You eat on a paper placemat and napkin. Everything else is good. Just one appetizer for €16...the service, however, was attentive and made with quality ingredients. Inside, there's a beautiful view of the hills and mountains.

03/11/2025: Unpleasant waitresses. The food was mediocre, the pasta was like carbonated bread with no flavor whatsoever. The wine was served in digestif glasses, and the waitress practically told me to get lost when I asked for wine glasses. We ended up drinking the wine with our digestif glasses. When the bill arrived, we were told that we had to pay in cash only because the machine wasn't working, but we didn't have any cash and there were no ATMs in the streets. Then, miraculously, the machine suddenly started working on the first try. A very unpleasant moment during our stay in San Remo at this restaurant.

29/10/2025: People who say the staff isn't very friendly are just used to being flattered. Offering a quality set menu for €12 with a starter and main course is really rare. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I recommend it.
