05/06/2025: I am so sad this place is closed. I am traveling to that are area in 2 weeks and was so looking forward to being there. I am American and was introduced to this restaurant and owner by my friend Marco and always loved everything about this place, especially the lasagna (once made for us) and the tortellini. My best to the owner and her family.

06/01/2026: We ate well: gnocco fritto (fried gnocchi) just warm, decent-quality cured meats served in generous portions, the tortelli alle erbette (herb tortelli) were handmade and delicious, and the scottona rib eye steak, tender and perfectly cooked, was served with baked potatoes. For dessert, I chose the house tiramisu, presented in an original, rich, and very fresh way. I drank a Lambrusco, coffee, and grappa. I paid absolutely right for an unmemorable but absolutely enjoyable dinner. There's parking right outside.

23/10/2025: Dinner with friends. One of the few places where I've eaten well lately. My friends and I tried the "gnocco fritto all you can eat" for the first time. The gnocco was very good, served hot, not too salty, and almost not greasy at all. It was accompanied by generous amounts of high-quality cured meats, very good cheeses, and lightly seasoned vegetables. The homemade desserts were very good; I tried the tiramisu with homemade mascarpone and crushed biscuit crumble. The place was very well-kept and clean, with the perfect balance between rustic and elegant. The table setting was well-thought out, and the service was impeccable. We'll definitely be back to try the dishes.

03/01/2026: A small, intimate, and welcoming restaurant near the Enzo Ferrari Museum. The menu is typically Emilian, with traditional, homemade, and authentic flavors. We had gnocco fritto and culatello, lasagna Bolognese, tagliatelle with ragù, and gnocchi with pancetta, walnuts, and balsamic vinegar. Everything was excellent, though the lasagna was perhaps a little dry, but that's purely personal opinion, as the flavor was excellent. Prices are moderate, fair, and the portions are generous. Overall, a good trattoria/osteria-style experience.

11/01/2026: I'm forced to write a review due to the way we were treated on Thursday, January 8th. At 1:30 PM, my partner called the restaurant to see if there was a table for two at 2:00/2:15 PM (since it says in front of the restaurant and here on Google that the restaurant serves lunch until 3:30 PM), but she was told the restaurant was full. Honestly, we found it strange that it was full at that time, so on a Thursday, since we're local, we stopped by to check. As expected, there were only four cars parked outside in the parking lot, and there were three tables inside. A young man greeted us and asked if we had a reservation. When we said no, he told us the restaurant was full and the kitchen was closing. We were incredulous because half the place was empty and because closing time was supposed to be 3:30 PM, not 2:15 PM when we arrived. That said, I understand the desire to go home, but I advise the owner to find collaborators who are also willing to work providing decent customer service.

06/01/2026: Great experience!! Excellent quality home cooking that makes you feel right at home! Welcoming place and very friendly, fast, and helpful staff. Fresh homemade pasta, generous portions, and very fair prices!! Definitely a place worth trying, I'll definitely be back when I'm in town :)

31/01/2026: We went with friends to Osteria Doppio Litro in Reggio Emilia. The gnocco and tigelle were quite good, but not impressive. The desserts were awful, and there was no choice. Unfortunately, the service was lacking: we had to ask several times to order, and throughout the evening we felt uncared for. The staff seemed rather cold, unfriendly, surly, and annoyed, sometimes rude. Another negative was the parking lot, which was muddy and difficult to navigate. The bill was modest, but overall I wasn't thrilled with the experience.

03/01/2026: Despite the Christmas period, we had a great time. We waited a bit to order, but everything arrived quickly, everything was good, and the quality/price ratio was excellent. Always keep this in mind.

30/12/2025: Traditional-style restaurant, very welcoming: as soon as you enter, you immediately feel a family atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The dishes are prepared with great care, and the starters, in particular, were truly exceptional. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

17/01/2026: I have to be honest... I was planning on going to a nearby trattoria I know, but they didn't have any seats, so a friend recommended this place. Intrigued, I made a reservation, and the owner greeted me with simplicity and kindness over the phone... a great start! The place is large and frequented by workers and truck drivers (they know what they're talking about!!). The parking lot is ample, which is a plus, considering it's on the main road, parking would be a hassle. The staff is friendly and very helpful... they know how to give you the best advice, so we let them guide us. The appetizer of cured meats accompanied by tigelle and gnocco fritto was excellent, as were the first courses, which reflect the wonderful Emilian tradition. The prices, in my opinion, were absolutely fair, in line with the quality of the food. A wonderful discovery that I'll definitely try again!

13/01/2026: I had a really delicious evening yesterday at a very good price. The daily menu included a starter, main course, dessert, wine, and water for €23. The food was really good. I'll be back!
