It exceeded our expectations—excellent food, atmosphere, and service. Jorge (from Peru) served us in a very friendly and highly recommended way.
We will definitely return as soon as we get back. Keep it up! 👍👍🌶️

11/07/2026: The Ca' Marta Rock restaurant is located in Sassuolo within the Cà Marta sports complex. The restaurant was converted from an old farmhouse, and the atmosphere is rustic and welcoming. The menu offers traditional Emilian specialties (such as gnocco fritto and tigelle), seafood dishes, grilled meats, and wood-fired pizza. They also organize musical evenings with live bands or an outdoor DJ set in the summer.

09/07/2026: Terrible experience. We stopped for a lunch break from work. The owner was a terrible, rude person. We were harassed throughout the entire lunch, and even insulted because we're Southerners. Upon entry, he asked us our political affiliation, and based on our answer, you couldn't sit down (there's a photo of Benito Mussolini in the bathroom, so you can imagine).
As for the food, it was nothing special. Average quality and high prices.
I absolutely don't recommend it.
03/05/2026: Three of us ordered an appetizer of fried gnocco and sliced meats, and a first course each.
The man refused to bring the appetizers first, saying that the gnocco was served as a second course.
Confused, we accepted.
After a long hour of waiting, the first courses arrived. Shortly afterward, the fried gnocco for two people was accompanied (unsolicited) by tigelle and stracchino cheese. Only after paying the bill did we discover that the appetizer cost 42 euros, more than the three first courses combined.
We were also charged for the unsolicited one, and the price was not even mentioned.
You can't give a good review to someone who tries to steal your money.

03/08/2026: We spent a lot and ate poorly. The place was practically empty. There were five of us for lunch...we had to figure out why.
Poor menu.
The owner doesn't even say hello.
22/07/2026: A real rip-off. I was on a business trip. I don't know the area. I saw this trattoria in Zibello. For a second course, not particularly good, water, and cover charge, it cost €35.

24/03/2025: Mangiare al Cavallino Bianco è sempre una esperienza bellissima perché è come ritornare bambina e ricordare certi sapori che ormai è difficile trovare. Il culatello il prosciutto, lo strolghino , la spalla cotta, la loro giardiniera sono piatti superlativi, per non parlare dei tagliolini al burro di Vacche Rosse con il culatello , i secondi ricchi di gusto,I dolci ottimi insomma provare per credere! La gentilezza del proprietario è innata e quindi ti senti veramente a casa di amici. Non vedo l’ora di tornarci.

I am American and was introduced to this restaurant and owner by my friend Marco and always loved everything about this place, especially the lasagna (once made for us) and the tortellini. My best to the owner and her family.

15/07/2025: Meravigliosa atmosfera che circonda questo localino. Sembra rivivere i film di don Camillo e Peppone. La ragazza in sala super simpatica e velocissima, così come il cuoco eccellente e cordiale anche in virtù della nostra passione comune per i Pink Floyd. Cibo fantastico e salumi ottimi. Unica pecca: i cani non possono entrare!!!
12/07/2025: Locale perfetto sotto ogni aspetto: servizio alla mano favoloso, ti senti praticamente un familiare😂, piatti genuini della casa. L’atmosfera è calda e accogliente, impreziosita dalle splendide foto ai muri tratte dai film di Don Camillo. Un’esperienza che unisce gusto, tradizione e un tocco di cinema italiano indimenticabile. Torneremo sicuramente!

19/07/2025: Spesso capita di restare delusi da gnocco fritto e tigelle di scarsa qualità, unti o accompagnati da affettati mediocri. Qui invece tutto è stato all’altezza delle aspettative: ingredienti eccellenti, sapori autentici e cura nella preparazione. Il menu degustazione è un’ottima scelta per chi vuole riscoprire la vera tradizione emiliana. Consigliatissimo!
