Ristorante La Locanda is a small gem, still "old" and full of authentic flavors. It serves traditional Emilia-Romagna dishes. The food is truly flavorful and tasty, with handmade pasta. The cappellacci del Duca are highly recommended, as are the foie gras and potato tart with pecorino di fossa and guanciale for starters. The desserts are also exceptional, always homemade. The owner is a very kind older man, who even addresses you formally. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. Highly recommended.

If you're looking for a place where locals eat - this restaurant is your best choice. The owner is over 80 years old and he still cooks the most delicious tortellini in Rome. We chatted with a steady customer, who told us he's been going to this restaurant for 26 years already! This speaks volumes! Don't miss the chance to eat out in this hostaria!

The place is a bit dated, obviously not renovated in a while, but the welcome really makes a difference. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and we immediately felt at ease. The prices are fair and overall reasonable, but the portions are really small... a shame, because the food is good, but you'll leave feeling a little hungry.
