03/06/2025: I went for lunch with my boyfriend and another couple, we chose the fixed menu for €36 per person. Don't do it. There was a mixed grill as a second course, we get ONE portion. They tell us that they calculate one portion for every 3 people, too bad there were 4 of us, and even if there were 3 of us it was not enough. I understand not bringing one each but getting to the point of dividing the pieces of meat to taste everything seemed a bit excessive to me. Everything is very good for goodness sake, but I recommend ordering from the à la carte menu because the fixed ones are a rip-off. For the rest, the place is very nice and the quality of the food is also high, too bad about the portions of the fixed menus.

29/05/2025: Ci siamo andati la prima volta per le feste di natale 2024 e ritornarci è un vero piacere non si sbaglia mai l'ultima volta abbiamo preso carpaccio con pane carasau delizioso poi fiorentina di black angus molto tenera e un sapore buonissimo accompagnato con un Sangiovese molto buono rapporto qualità prezzo molto buona

Reggio Emilia tradition with fried dumplings, right leg ham, top primial. I never got to the second courses given the abundance of the plates. I go there often and I don't give up

30/06/2025: We exited the highway in passing to come and eat here, upon arrival they made us sit inside and immediately brought us water to drink we opted to take an appetizer based on fried dumplings and cold cuts, then we continued with 4 menus of the day, small hitch only on my wife's rice but the waiter noticed the mistake and immediately remedied it, the chef's fault who is in love according to him, the perfect second courses a little limited the quantity of porchetta but the other dishes were abundant, prices overall in line with the area we are in, shame that it did not have San Simone as a bitter, I highly recommend buying it for demanding customers like me, for this time we settle for the nocino all in all we ate well,

25/06/2025: Great food, everything we ate here, everytime we left very satisfied! Service is friendly, but the AC was on full boost and we were freezing while it was 30°C outside. Bring a jacket.

22/06/2025: Great terrace, excellent food (starter plate, tortelli, tagliatelle, meat dish), excellent Lambrusco. Very pleasant atmosphere. A restaurant where we were the only tourists. It was well attended.

08/06/2025: I was recently at Osteria Doppio Litro and I have to say that the place, with its rustic but refined decor, transmits an authentic warmth that invites you to relax and enjoy the evening. But it is the food, of course, the real protagonist. The menu offers typical dishes of the Emilian tradition. I really enjoyed how the fried gnocco was, really good. The staff was friendly, attentive and prepared. If you are looking for a place to rediscover the authentic flavors of Emilian cuisine, I recommend it.

27/04/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo in questa trattoria nel giorno di Pasquetta durante la visita a Brescello: che dire, tutto perfetto! Trattoria a conduzione familiare dove la sig.ra Marisa è la numero uno, super simpatica e accogliente. Trattoria vecchio stile, dove il vino viene bevuto ancora nelle scodelle. Abbiamo preso il classico antipasto di salumi da dividere x tutti e poi primi secondi e dolce: tutto davvero buonissimo!! Qualità prezzo adeguata. All'interno ovviamente ci sono foto dei film e di personaggi famosi passati per la trattoria. Che dire, se andate a Brescello assolutamente non potete non fare tappa dalla signora Marisa e la sua famiglia nella sua stupenda trattoria! Ci torneremo sicuramente!

25/04/2025: Pranzo di Pasqua in famiglia! Tutto molto buono e fatto in casa. Il locale è piccolo ma molto accogliente e pulito (anche il bagno!!). Personale gentile e super disponibile. Torneremo sicuramente!

01/06/2025: Welcoming and clean place, good service and the waiters were polite, sociable and helpful, the food was fresh and of good quality, in short we had a great time, I recommend it, compliments to all the staff 😉

30/05/2025: Fried dumplings and cold cuts are always a big draw, so after a few years we decided to come back. Quality is always good but quantity is unfortunately limited. Attempt to introduce some original variation (stuffed fried dumplings) in some cases decent.

08/06/2025: É evidente sin da subito che in questo locale ci siano clienti/amici di serie A e clienti di serie B. Una settimana prima prenoto un tavolo per 2 ESPRESSAMENTE FUORI ribadendo per ben 3 VOLTE di volerlo fuori. Tutto ciò in quanto la volta precedente me ne andai con un grande mal di testa visto il caos generato dalla scarsissima acustica del locale che genera un rimbombo di tutte le voci dei commensali a tal punto che a malapena si riesce a parlare. Al mattino del giorno della cena vengo contattato da una signora che mi chiede se confermavo per la sera alle 21:30 ed io ho confermato. Alle 21:30 mi presento al locale e vengo accolto da una signora bionda che mi dice che in quel momento non avevano un tavolo all'aperto per me e la mia fidanzata, cosa non vera visto che davanti ai miei occhi 2 tavoli da 2 all'aperto erano liberi in quel momento, così insisto dicendo che avevo prenotato ben 1 settimana prima all'aperto ma la signora bionda mi dice che se voglio posso sedere dentro se no c'é da aspettare 20 min e che se non voglio aspettare me ne posso andare via. I 2 tavoli da 2 sono stati liberi per 15 min prima dell'arrivo di altri clienti che non ho capito in quale maniera sono riusciti ad acquisire precedenza rispetto alla mia prenotazione delle 21:30 essendo loro arrivati alle 21:45 e rispetto al mio precedente arrivo rispetto a loro in loco. Finalmente dopo 45 min, alle ore 22:15 con i crampi della fame io e la mia fidanzata riusciamo a sederci. Di sicuro questa MANCANZA DI PROFESSIONALITÀ É INACCETTABILE, non tornerò MAI PIÙ. Quella sera essendo il mio anniversario non ho voluto rovinarmi la serata per questa gente irrispettosa e non professionale, che non ho capito che chiama a fare la mattina per chiedermi la conferma circa la mia presenza e l'orario. Inoltre voglio segnalare di fare ATTENZIONE AI FUORI MENÙ in quanto vengono enunciati verbalmente senza poter visualizzare alcun prezzo e vi assicuro che potreste avere delle brutte sorprese in quanto sono in genere piatti di 25-30 € che si doscostano molto dagli altri piatti indicati nel menu, normalmente i locali scrivono tali piatti fuori menù su una lavagna o su un menù a parte, é evidente la mancanza di trasparenza e il tentativo di fare la cresta.

04/04/2025: Everyone / the food was delicious - great choice of red wine , the homemade spaghetti and ragu as my starter was amazing ….. and then I had the Collette!!!! Cooked with ham and cheese and smothered in the most delicious cheese / mushroom / cream sauce …. Wow !!! Take a side salad which is freshly made as the potatoes will fill you out loooollll and the salad was spot on Now for desert I had a home made pastry ( crostata) tart and with a very nice glass red desert wine ( all wines are local !) Can hardly move now and need a siesta Def def worth visiting

25/05/2025: We had lunch at the trattoria, we had a great experience with food and service. Gnocchi was very tasty and cooked to perfection and the meat was also great! I highly recommend it.
