07/07/2025: Great experience! Family-run restaurant. Unfortunately I was just passing through Bologna so I could only have one dinner at this place... I asked the staff directly for a typical first course and they brought me gramigna with sausage served by the chef himself😊 delicious!

02/08/2025: A small trattoria located under the porticoes of Via Saragozza, just outside the city walls. It has a small outdoor terrace occupying the parking lot, where we dined last Tuesday. The interior has a small entrance and extends into the depths, with kitchens, a bathroom, and another room at the back. Interesting menu. I ordered the evening's special. The concept and the dish were beautiful; it's a shame the fillet was perhaps overcooked, as the meat seemed a bit dry. The fondue and turnip greens paired well, although the cheese overpowered the flavor of the latter, but without being overbearing. Friendly staff. Prices are average for the city, though they've risen everywhere else. Location: the porticoes that lead from Porta Saragozza to San Luca, the emblem of Bologna's UNESCO World Heritage porticoes. Worth a try.

30/07/2025: A great rustic Italian restaurant at a medium price point. This restaurant had it all for me: Great food and great service with an old school feel to it. They have lots of classic dishes from Bologna, so I can highly recommend this place. On my vacation I am looking authentic Italian experiences and I feel like I found that with this restaurant. It is the small things that make something feel suthentic and in this case rustic. The tray they use to wheel out the dishes, the waiter putting the parmegiano cheese on your dish himself after asking you, the age of the waiters and overall just the atmosphere. The staff was really great. They really take the time to engage with you eventhough English isnt their primary language. The waiters might even be the owners if the place. They really care when you tell them you enjoyed the food. As a starter I had a plate of various meats which was a bit dissapointing. It could be that I had didnt quite understand the menu, but It felt very badic. It consisted of slices of ham and salami that could have come straight from packages from the supermarket. The main dish, a classic lasagna, was superb and tge home made dessert aswell. As long you avoid the luncheon meat starter you will have a great time here.

30/07/2025: We had homemade pasta and gnocchi. The pomodoro alone was so delicious. All the dishes were delicious, and the waiters were very friendly.

21/07/2025: The food is good, no complaints there, but the €4 cover charge and €3 water are a bit excessive. I think that for a €4 cover charge, it's fair to offer microfiltered water (purified tap water) in a 1-liter jug for free, or at most 1 liter for free and the next liters for a maximum of €0.50, as already happens in France and Germany, in several places I've been. It's timely and above all fair, given that the dishes aren't cheap. Anyone who wants it can order bottled water and pay for it differently...

03/08/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An authentic experience in the heart of Bologna! Atipico Osteria is a real insider tip. The ragu – absolutely outstanding. As intense and well-rounded as you could wish for in Bologna. The atmosphere is authentically Italian, with lots of locals. At lunchtime, only the upper area is open – reservations are definitely worth it! The appetizers with fresh bread and fried tortellini with dips were a highlight. (Even though we in the family didn't quite agree 😉 – I say: a real treat!) The lasagna of the day was wonderfully creamy, the panna cotta solid and beautifully vanilla-flavored. The service? Truly remarkably friendly, attentive, and quick – without being intrusive. The price is completely reasonable for what's offered. Verdict: 6 stars would be justified – my wife even gives it 8. We agree on a well-deserved 5 here on Google. Mille grazie, Team Atipico – we’ll definitely be back!

30/07/2025: Very pleasant and welcoming place, good food, and charming staff. The hotel recommended it to us even though we weren't staying there, but where we had stayed years ago, the hotel has changed name, but the restaurant is still theirs. Well done!

03/07/2025: Beautiful trattoria in a truly suggestive location, with a splendid view that alone is worth the visit! The food is excellent, prepared with care and with quality ingredients. The environment is quiet, peaceful and very easy-going, perfect for those looking for a totally relaxing lunch or dinner. The people who run it are very kind and make you feel at home right away. An authentic and very pleasant experience, definitely worth repeating!

29/06/2025: One of the advantages of traveling by car is being able to get off the highway and take a break for an authentic meal (much more than the rustichelle from the autogrill!). Choosing the hills of Bologna and the trattoria Sant'Antonio we were very lucky. Welcomed with kindness and friendliness we tasted the classic tagliatelle with ragù as well as the crescentine with cured meats and cheeses and the tigelle with pesto (an ancient peasant snack made with sausage, bacon, rosemary and garlic: divine!). All seasoned with a good still wine and a beautiful view of the territories of the provinces of Modena and Bologna. We can't wait to return.

06/08/2025: The food is mediocre, the service is below par, and the price is completely out of proportion to what's on offer. Only the location is quite pleasant. Overall, I don't recommend it.

03/08/2025: A historic yet welcoming venue. Professional and fast service. Traditional Emilia-Romagna dishes. I particularly appreciated the various trolleys, from appetizers to dessert, where you can choose your dishes. Delicious dishes and trolleys of boiled and roast meats with a wide selection.

02/07/2025: Called well in advance for a birthday lunch with 11 people, I ask for the time of 12.30 they ask me to bring forward so they can organize at 12. When we arrive at the restaurant we are the first the lady comes to collect the orders, she is in a hurry, we start to order the first courses and she starts to shout: "no but good, all different first courses, let's start well, who knows how happy they will be in the kitchen to start like this" (now if we had all wanted to eat the same thing, we would have eaten at home), she did not suggest we do a trio or kindly asked us to try to stick to two or three types of first courses, obviously if you bring me a menu with twenty first courses, everyone orders what they like best! For the second courses three of them ask for the grilled fish, she forces us to take 4, it is not clear why 4 bottles of water, 1 bottle of wine 10 first courses 7 second courses 4 of fried crescentine with cold cuts etc 5 sorbets 1 dessert 4/5 coffees Total €463!

29/06/2025: They told me, go to Ristorone, you'll see the food is good and in fact now every time I go to Bologna I stop. Those tortellini are too good, but also the fried gnocco with various cold cuts and house pickles. But as a glutton, I always leave room for dessert, the amaretto sorbet prepared at the table by a very nice gentleman as well as excellent at service.
