One of those places where you mention being celiac and is instantly reassured about how that is no problem at all, they have full controll over the protocols so you just know that you are safe and taken care of. The food is excellent, down to earth, no silly frills. Homemade and hearthy. A proper Osteria.

09/05/2026: Incredible place! The interior is huge and full of character, but the best part is that there's plenty of space outside too. The staff? A war machine: efficient and incredibly friendly. The food... well, everything was delicious, from starter to dessert.

24/04/2026: A good dinner with typical local products; try their ragù. A variety of dishes and wines. A well-kept restaurant with welcoming staff. Prices are average. The only complaint I've already mentioned in person: the desserts, served on a scenic trolley at the tables but kept uncovered throughout the dinner, should be covered for hygiene reasons and kept fresh. Overall, a positive experience.

02/05/2026: We enjoyed the mortadella entrée, the excellent tagliatelle with ragu, and the tortellini with parmesan. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was very nice and welcoming.

26/04/2026: Although we called and we made the reservation, when we went there they said we took your reservation but we did not confirmed it !? Thanks to the rude and poor restaurant owner, we went to another restaurant called Quadrilatero and we had an amazing night. I hope the owner and the waiters of this restaurant find something in their life so that they can enjoy. Poor dudes very sorry for them :(

24/04/2026: Exquisite cuisine (the tortellini neri were a delight). A very friendly waiter. The owner offered us a tiramisu; we had ordered a strawberry mascarpone dessert. The price is reasonable. The place is charming. Highly recommended.

01/05/2026: Truly delicious, incredibly delicious! The smell of ragù wafted from the kitchen like a dream. Every time they brought a dish to a table, the entire room was filled with intoxicating aromas! I had the passatelli with rabbit ragù and found it to be special. The hand-cut ragù was truly well-made and delicate. The bread from the Brisa bakery was also excellent, which I adore! The staff was young and attentive. Highly recommended, I'll be back!

18/04/2026: Good morning, my experience at the Gallo restaurant, so the meat was of extreme quality. Certainly also thanks to the chef. All the dishes we ordered were delicious 😋. But there is a but. I have been working in the restaurant business for 40 years. The owner is very good for having a highly regarded place, but the staff certainly leaves something to be desired. Nothing to say about the work, but it is a piece of advice I can give when customers order drinks too much when they go out to eat, including me, they are distracted and don't look at the menu badly. If there is no draft beer but only bottled, the waiter must say so anyway. Maybe it is not important but it makes a difference, which is also very important, the fact that a glass of wine is not given only in the bottle, maybe the customer takes the bottle afterwards. Then the fundamental thing is calm. Not everyone is calm, very quiet and the customer feels it is very annoying, it seems like you are there and annoying anyway, I would go there again. The food is great, there are also beautiful people to see, well, even the guy at the cashier.

18/04/2026: I'd never been there before, despite the historic location. The food was excellent: pork cheek, cured meats with cheese, and piadina as an appetizer. I should point out, if I'm not mistaken, that they don't offer house wine (finally!). I ordered an Aulente di San Patrignano, which I know well, and it was excellent. It's obviously not their own, but the wine selection also shows quality. The atmosphere is pleasant and the acoustics are also balanced. I'll be back soon, and it will be one of my go-to favorites.

14/04/2026: The outside location is very nice, but my girlfriend and I ate inside because it was raining that night. The inside is small and doesn't compare favorably with the outside. We were initially a little worried about the large number of non-Italian customers, but the food quickly changed our minds. We highly recommend the meatballs, but especially the Bolognese cutlet, which was truly delicious. The service was impeccable, quick, and friendly. The price was more than fair for what we ate.

01/05/2026: A really nice restaurant, excellent food, and reasonable prices. Recommended for both solo travelers (like me) and couples, or more. The staff is friendly and very young. The food is excellent; I ordered a second helping of tagliatelle with ragù because I love pasta. They also have a good selection of wines, both by the glass and by the bottle. When it opens early, you can find a table inside or outside; after 1:00 PM, it's more difficult and you have to wait a few minutes. But it's worth it. If we had to find a flaw, I'd say the portions; those who like large portions will have to order a second helping. 😂
