31/07/2026: A very beautiful shop that you need to make a reservation to be sure to find. It is very worth sitting inside because it reminds you of old Italy, very nice vibe, kind staff, the pasta we tried was very delicious. It is truly one of the shops that I highly recommend in Bologna!

24/07/2026: A very welcoming and well-organized place, with reservations made through the website. We enjoyed truly sublime traditional Bolognese dishes, and the service was fast and courteous. A truly worthwhile place! Right next to the famous fenestrella window overlooking the canal.

07/07/2026: We came for lunch as a family of four adults and one child, hoping to discover authentic local cuisine. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The pasta with ragù was far from al dente; it was practically undercooked. The horse tartare was not good; the meat seemed oxidized and had an unpleasant taste, which really worried us. As for the lasagna, it was much overcooked, and the cheese had a rancid taste, giving the impression that it was no longer fresh. We expected a completely different level of quality. A huge disappointment; we do not recommend it.

09/05/2026: We stumbled upon this gem while looking for a bite to eat and we decided to sit on the terrace in a charming, quiet street. My mate got a calzone and he was so over the moon that we ordered an extra pizza as dessert. We decided to go with the 'Come viene, viene' (come what may), and boy, did it deliver! We both agreed it was quite literally the best pizza of our lives. The layers, the texture, and the depth of flavor were just incredible. Ended up chatting with another table and had a great night/experience here.

10/05/2026: It may have reasonable prices and good quality, but the service was so-so. One of the waitresses felt like she was about to get slapped. And in a typical Bolognese trattoria, baked potatoes aren't an option. Only fried ones. Meh. Thanks a lot, but I'm fine with that.

14/05/2026: We decided to eat here the last night before leaving, and while I was looking on Maps, I came across this trattoria, so we decided to try it and were pleased. The food is really good, the tortelli with parmesan cream are delicious (highly recommended), the meat should have been cooked a little more in my opinion (it's a matter of personal taste), but it was good. I'd say it's just a little pricey, but for what we ate, I'd say it's fair enough. Recommended anyway. 👍

01/05/2026: Three of us arrived for lunch without a reservation, and they seated us within ten minutes. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was pleasant and beautiful, and the restrooms were spotless. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. It was a pleasant discovery. We'll definitely be back. I highly recommend it.

11/07/2026: This is my first time at Osteria Broccaindosso: I immediately noticed the atmosphere of old Bolognese taverns, with very friendly and welcoming staff combined with an informal atmosphere that I appreciated. The appetizers and first courses are excellent, and the portions are unusually generous these days. The four of us had a lovely evening, and the final bill was in line with what we ordered. Highly recommended!

03/06/2026: A hospitable welcome; you really feel welcome. Good menu. The pasta is served in small pans at your table. The daily menu has nice dishes that can be ordered separately. Had a delicious meal. Beautiful glasses of wine are served. Conservatory that provides plenty of shade.

15/05/2026: I spent a few days in Bologna for work, one of the best places I've ever eaten, highly recommended

15/05/2026: We ate here in May 2026. So much for believing the reviews. We started with some cured meat and bread, which the server aggressively upsells. She does not mention that bread is included in the cover fee charged for sitting down. We also orders olives and pickled vegetables. There were no olives, which is the only reason we chose this dish. I asked her about the olives and she lied and said that in Italy this mix of pickled vegetables is called "olives." I didn't think I looked that dumb, but maybe I do. I grew up in an Italian family, and we only called olives "olives." At this point, we now do not trust or believe our server at all. The cured meat we were served was low quality and the extra bread was almost unchewable. The bread that is included comes in a paper bag with the entree. My partner had a pork shank that came with roasted potatoes. He reported that the pork had no flavor except for salt. I ordered pork cooked in the oven in beer, served with mushrooms and roasted potatoes. The potatoes were the only edible item on the plate. The meat and mushrooms were extraordinarily salty and I could not eat them. The meat was low quality. The house wine we ordered was on the verge of becoming vinegar. Like seemingly most places in Italy, the restaurant does not bring a bill or a check, you are just expected to pay what they ask and receive a receipt afterward. I asked for a check, and to their credit they did not charge for the pickles or my plate, which I did not eat. I told the man I was willing to pay for it since I ate the potatoes and I cannot tolerate that much salt. Usually I prefer not to stress negative aspects of establishments I visit, but the outright lie of the server was too much. Just say you're out of olives, or strike it from the menu. It's not hard to treat your customers well without trying to decieve them. This was not the only place we sampled in Bologna with wine on the verge of turning. This is a casual place with both indoor and outdoor seating.

21/07/2026: Absolutely delicious food, and attentive service. We had Prosciutto and Melone, Insalata Caprese, Tagliatelle al Ragu, Costoletta alla Bologenese, and Spaghetti alle Vongole. Everything was very tasty and well-prepared. We sat on the lovely intimate terrace. Highly recommend.
