07/12/2025: We had an excellent Tomahawk meal, with delicious side dishes. The owners were extremely kind and friendly. It's definitely worth it! Highly recommended!

17/11/2025: The food is incredibly delicious, with a delicacy of unique flavors I've never tasted anywhere else. I recommend the tagliatelle with antara ragu, with a touch of orange zest. The service was spectacular, courtesy of Mr. Pepe, who made us feel right at home. The rooms aren't luxurious, but they're warm and clean, perfect for a wooded area.

11/12/2025: We visited this small but very characteristic restaurant, just steps from the towers and Piazza Maggiore, and we had a wonderful time! The food is delicious and cooked in the finest Bolognese tradition. The staff is very friendly and eager to please even the most discerning diners. All this at an excellent value. I have no hesitation in recommending Osteria Broccaindosso to anyone in Bologna!

06/12/2025: We took a daytrip to Bologna from Milan, and it rained non-stop. But I was determined to visit the city known as the gastronomic center of Italy. I wasn't disappointed! As our feet got increasingly damp from the rain, my husband found this place, and it was a warm, cozy respite from the weather. He had a white bean soup, and I had the bolognese pasta. They seemed like simple dishes but it was the most satisfying and memorable meal of our trip!

10/11/2025: Very good first courses, especially the ragù. Service was very quick after you were seated, but the line outside was poorly managed (it was messy and names weren't recorded). I recommend it for a meal downtown, but be careful not to get passed over while you're in line.

07/11/2025: I came with a group just before lunch service ended. I tried the house wine, some cheese plate, tortilloni with squash, and a nochino(black walnut liquor). Everything was exceptional.

10/12/2025: A trattoria that feels like home! The staff is incredibly friendly, as if I've known them all my life. The owner even looked after my son and showed him around 😂 The atmosphere, inside, is homey, beautifully authentic, and you can feel Bologna on every wall. I ate: - Savory panettone with mortadella and ricotta cream: off-menu, very good, the dough melted in your mouth, and the combination with the creams worked well. - Gramignone with sausage ragù: very good, the gramignone was cooked very well, and the ragù was very flavorful. - Tortellini in broth: I loved the broth. - Cotechino with mashed potatoes: another off-menu dish, very flavorful cotechino, and delicate mashed potatoes to soften the sauce. Together, it's a very well-balanced dish. I loved both the food and the authenticity of the people who work at the trattoria. It will be a regular stop when we return to Bologna.

18/08/2025: August 15, 2025. This isn't our first time at this restaurant, and it lived up to our expectations. Superb location, good service, and a warm and welcoming staff. Service is friendly and prompt, despite the changes during the holiday season. The menu is beautiful and varied, offering a wide selection of meat and fish, catering to all tastes. The quality of the dishes is well above average, bordering on excellent. The price is reasonable for the quality, and the wine list deserves special mention, as it's well-stocked and top-quality. Lunch outside under the umbrellas overlooking Bologna was a pleasant, relaxing moment to celebrate Ferragosto.

09/12/2025: A very good restaurant with good dishes. I didn't like how they served the mortadella in chunks; I think it's better sliced ​​thinly, but to each their own. The steak with Modena balsamic sauce was very good, as were the pasta and the small tortellini with soup. The ice cream and other desserts were also very good. I didn't like that the owner (at least that's what it seemed to me) was vaping inside the restaurant, or yelling excessively in the kitchen, which could be heard from everywhere.

07/12/2025: Excellent place, we were served quickly despite it being quite late and without a reservation. Typical northern Italian cuisine. We recommend it.

08/12/2025: I really enjoyed Va Ma Là. We were extremely lucky to get in as it was fully booked for the entire weekend (book in advance!). The first good sign was that all it was full of Italians…. Families, couples, friends… all local. Next, the menu was limited and showcased local dishes. Finally, the food takes time… and all was worth it. The tortellini in brodo was perfect for a cold winters day and the tiramisu was exceptional.

11/11/2025: It seems like a nice restaurant but unfortunately the host with the white hair is very rude and soured the experience :( I had called the day before to book a table for myself and a staff member enthusiastically confirmed. But when I arrived the man said they are declining my reservation because they don’t want a table with one person. He was quite rude and honestly made me nearly cry. The waiters were quite kind and apologised. And Nothing against the kitchen - bolognese was tasty. Tiramisu was nothing special. I saw a similar situation happen to another couple that had booked. They need to sort out their booking system so this does not happen.

11/11/2025: Reccomendws to us by our Airbnb host as a local favourite. Small place away from the main tourist areas, tucked away in a side lane. Delicious simple food, which we enjoyed so much, came back for a second meal. Small menu but done well. The pasta with onion and tomato sauce was divine. Service is brisk and they turn around tables quickly. Booking reccomended to get a table. The host reccomended slower times on Friday evening if we wanted a table without booking, and kindly made space for us when we returned.

01/12/2025: One of the few places downtown where everyone can be satisfied, even those who want pizza! The cuisine is all artisanal, modest yet flavorful. The friendly and courteous waiters and the intimate, almost candlelit atmosphere add to the restaurant's splendor. It's impossible not to mention the legendary Ragù, the owners' dog, who roams the tables politely, providing sweet companionship and adding a touch of homeliness to the experience.

09/12/2025: The place is a bit old fashioned... the dinner (there were four of us) was appreciated by everyone... the dishes were well presented and pleasant but no gems... the service was excellent and precise... the prices were not appropriate... some dishes were really too expensive.

08/12/2025: Trattoria just outside the city center with ample parking. Friendly and fast service, friendly owners, excellent food, and a wine list with fair markups.

11/11/2025: It's true that it's difficult to eat badly in Bologna, but here it's impossible. With just a few dishes on the menu, you're guaranteed seasonal, carefully prepared dishes. The tagliatelle with ragù is a must. And for dessert, if you're lucky and it's the day, a tart with homemade cherries. In the warmer months, they have a small, tastefully furnished courtyard.

11/11/2025: Excellent Bolognese trattoria. We stumbled upon it by chance and immediately found the staff very kind and friendly. The food was good: tortellini, probably handmade, with excellent broth and very tasty, delicious, and easily digestible vegetables. A good house wine, bottled, was also available, and the atmosphere was warm, pleasant, and very clean. Congratulations.
