16/07/2025: Well, spending a relaxing evening, eating well in a refined atmosphere with young people offering excellent, cheerful service, I think is truly excellent. I'd add that the quality/price ratio, given the dishes and the good wine selection, was appreciated and shared. As someone said some time ago, seeing is believing.

13/08/2025: I was there in June 2025. There were four of us, recommended by my daughter who works in Bologna. I confirm my expectations. We dined outside, which was pleasant. Authentic cuisine, informal service. Everything was good, the cotoletta alla bolognese was amazing (two people could share it), even the house wine.

27/07/2025: le lasagne più buone che abbia mai mangiato! solo per quelle vale il viaggio. il resto del menù molto semplice, è un ristorante di "passaggio" ma sempre piacevole fermarsi, ogni volta che siamo a bologna corriamo a mangiare le lasagne del Rosso e mai una volta siamo stati delusi! bravi complimenti!

From the impeccable service to the incredible flavors, everything was simply fantastic. The first waiter recommended the starter and the main course, and both were absolutely perfect. For dessert, the lady who served us suggested the panna cotta with caramel and the brownie—both were divine! Another waiter was also extremely kind and attentive, making our evening even more special. We regret not asking for their names because they truly deserve all the praise. We leave with a taste of “wanting more,” and we are sure that every time we come to Bologna, this place will be in our hearts. 24/06/2025: Somewhat far from our hotel but with great reviews so we ventured out. And it's not a bad walk so we didn't really even mind it. Started with the mortadella mouse/potato souffle, which were a few interesting bites. We didn't think either of the pastas were standouts: gramigna & tortellini in brodo. The latter was particularly disappointing because it's one of the main dishes to try in the area, but it's just a bit boring (but maybe this is just what this dish is). We got a side of spinach that we probably didn't need but it was nicely done. Ended with the lamb chop, which was well cooked and the potato it was served with was perfectly lightly seared.

01/08/2025: Lunga attesa, solo con un primo e con sala praticamente vuota. Mentre aspettavamo ci è stato chiesto se volessimo rompere l attesa con il tortellino fritto. Ci arrivano diversi tortellini fritti che abbiamo pagato poi alla cassa, per come erano stati proposti sembravano offerti dalla casa.

26/07/2025: Ottimi i primi piatti. La pasta é fatta casa. Eccellenti le crescentine. Locale ampio adatto a feste. Nei giorni feriali non occorre prenotare.

30/07/2025: The first time everything was fine. The second time I went, the place was packed. The starters were better, but the grilled meat wasn't cooked enough. The third time, my daughter had tartare, and it wasn't good at all...

14/08/2025: It would be great if they updated the schedules on Google Maps. There's currently no service because they're on vacation. We drove across town to get there and found the place without service.

13/08/2025: I ordered a legume soup since I'm vegetarian, and they brought me two burgers with fries and a Fanta. I called the restaurant and got an answering machine saying, "We've taken Grandma Rosa to Ibiza. Don't leave messages on the answering machine because we won't listen to them anyway." You guys are awful.

27/07/2025: The food is really good and you can find typical local dishes. The only drawback is that you have to book well in advance as they are almost always full. However, it is in an easy-to-reach area and they have a large parking lot out front!

14/07/2025: A traditional restaurant with excellent ragù, including the Bolognese cutlet, but above all, the superb pasta ai fagioli. Friendly and smiling staff.

08/08/2025: Typical Bolognese trattoria, with extremely friendly, smiling, and kind staff. We ate divinely. Two first courses: handmade tagliatelle with ragù, spectacular, with the accompanying mopping up of the meat; passatelli with almond and cherry tomato pesto, delicious; and a second course for two: meatballs made with boiled meat, pan-fried, breaded, and fried with tomato cream. We've never had better. 1 liter of house Sangiovese wine, highly recommended for us drinkers!!! For the modest sum of €67! Well done, keep up the good work!!! Oh, I forgot to offer a complimentary grappa digestif. 😉

05/06/2025: A very spacious place and sensational food. Large portions and a super nice staff who helped us with some advice (especially on the wine side where both the red and white were very appreciated by friends). There is quite a spacious parking lot at the place, somewhere around 15-20 spaces I would say. You will be greeted by the staff with a basket of bakery products (homemade bread and some thicker sticks/breadcrumbs) and at the end you will be served with something sweet even though you did not order dessert.
