The only flaw was the temperature, a little chilly but only because I was at the table closest to the entrance. I really appreciated the open kitchen. In any case, I recommend the place to have a good traditional meal 👍🏻

12/01/2025: I returned to the spider after many years with my wife; the restaurant has retained its authenticity and style. Very welcoming and romantic place, very good dishes, almost all typical but carefully prepared and with slight reinterpretations and excellent products, young but very capable staff, helpful and attentive to customer requests. Good value for money. We will be back soon!

12/01/2025: We were in this trattoria on a Wednesday evening (I recommend booking) and it's not the first time I've come. Nice place, friendly and professional staff and excellent food. Compared to other times the service was a bit slow. Anyway, one of the best trattorias. of Bologna.

08/01/2025: Open for more than 30 years. Everything excellent. Tortellini in broth, excellent Lasagne, as well as the Bolognese cutlet which is gigantic as shown in the photo. I was too full to have dessert but I will definitely be back. PS: before COVID they were famous for buffet desserts, but now it is no longer possible also due to HACCP issues. Good service and great prices and quality.

20/01/2025: Very nice retro environment, truly adorable, with many historical relics, typical of Italian families positioned with wisdom. Genuine dishes of the Bolognese tradition, we take the Bolognese cutlet and side dishes and the wine is excellent. You have to book or risk asking between one shift and another. it's always worth it.

17/01/2025: Here you can breathe the real tradition, to underline the Cotoletta alla Bolognese (SPACE). Definitely a point of reference for anyone in Bologna (a little tip: on via Broccaindosso you are spoiled for choice in terms of "quality" between taverns, fish restaurants, wine bars, pubs, etc.).

17/01/2025: Typical Bologna cuisine, very good. There were 8 of us and we had some platters of cold cuts, some plates of tortellini in broth, and a tagliatelle with meat sauce. The dessert. All really good and accompanied by some bottles of Lambrusco. ADVISED!!!

13/01/2025: We had lunch with friends at this place on a Sunday! The beginning was not promising as they didn't even have a high chair available for a small child, saying that they were finished when there were no children with high chairs at the table! In the end they somehow came up with something and oh well! Extremely expensive menu, the first courses don't go below 14 euros! Seconds from 20 and up! Good quality but not great! The cover charge was a steal, 4 euros per person as if you were eating with gold cutlery and they were bringing bread for 30 people! Madness; I'm not even in the city center! But the worst thing was the bill! In 3 couples we pay 156 per couple, on the way out we do some mental calculations and understand that it is really ridiculous to spend almost 80 euros each for having eaten a dish and divided the starter or, for some, a first and second course! Or who just a second! After doing some checks we decide to go in and ask for explanations! And thank goodness we did it! They had charged us a whopping 68 bottles of water!!!!!!! So almost 200 euros more on the bill!! Madness! But how can you not realize that 7 people could never have ordered 68 bottles!!! Obviously by paying separately they don't even provide a courtesy receipt with the complete list of dishes, which is undoubtedly correct!

04/01/2025: A wonderful discovery! The place was fully booked, but even though we arrived late, "we tried" and they let us sit. Crazy kindness and affability of the Lady who welcomes and serves, I assume she is the owner. The waiter was also very good and elegant. Vast menu, and many proposals of the day. The dishes drove us crazy. Really excellent, and generous portions. Delicious and varied bread, made by them. They didn't disappoint, until the end. We will return with great pleasure.

12/01/2025: Excellent trattoria in the center of Bologna, certainly one of the best and still not entirely touristy. The first courses are excellent and plentiful, the inevitable Bolognese cutlet (which has now become almost pathological) and other "grandmother's" dishes, I particularly recommend the meatballs. Prices a little lower than the Bologna average. The only flaw is the need to book according to shifts, with times that are not exactly convenient
