11/08/2025: Great ice cream, excellent even. Lots of unique flavors you won't easily find elsewhere. Mandarin and fig were delicious. The staff was also friendly. But the cones are made of edible cardboard. That's not what a good ice cream parlor should be.

17/06/2025: I was at a communion nice restaurant, but very poor staff not very attentive in the service, they did not pay attention to providing drinks and cutlery at the right time, good food but miserable quantities, very fast service not even time to wait between one course and another, I would have expected more given the presentation of the restaurant. I do not recommend.

26/05/2025: Nice place, good but poor food. They saved on everything, the service was discreet, waiters not very attentive to everything. Dishes did not arrive directly from the kitchen but plated at the moment so much so that food fell on people. There was no attention for intolerant people as they had to wait a long time and then the wrong dishes arrived. We expected much more for what was paid for the menu. Mr. Arturo not serious about the things established, despite the various reminders he did not care. It was all rushed we had to vacate the room quickly because there was another party and we had not been told. Terrible experience. I do not recommend!!!

12/07/2025: Il menù è vario e ben strutturato, con una selezione di piatti tradizionali e alcune proposte creative davvero interessanti. Il sushi era freschissimo, con pesce di altissima qualità e riso perfettamente condito. Ho particolarmente apprezzato il sashimi misto: taglio impeccabile e presentazione elegante. Anche i roll speciali meritano una menzione: originali, gustosi e ben bilanciati.

22/06/2025: Nightmare ceremony!!! We decided to celebrate our little girl's baptism on June 1st in this place with 118 guests, and it was a tragedy! The aperitif was supposed to start at 8:30 pm and we were supposed to enter the room at 9:00 pm. Well, the guests were left without even water on a muggy night until 11:00 pm! We entered the room at 11:30 pm with waiters hanging around rather than serving at the table because (poor things) they had been there since 8 in the morning (which they told all the guests when they asked if they could bring something to the table) and they had already served other ceremonies before ours and guests who were already threatening to leave. Cold food with dressing from the fridge arrived after midnight, by the second course the room was already halved because many guests had left. The comments from the guests were "it's not a baptism, it's a kidnapping!" Or "it looks more like an 18th birthday party than a baptism". Finally, an hour-long discussion at 3 in the morning about the number of people present that the restaurant owner claimed was 10 more than we had told him even though the waiters had not had to add any more covers when they prepared the room based on the tableau provided at our expense. Moral of the story (a story in a manner of speaking...)? "Instead of 118 you pay me 116 out of 114 because even if 4 didn't show up I did the shopping." Without even receiving an apology from him or from his "director" daughter for the nightmare they made us and our guests live and for the extreme arrogance they had towards us until the last moment, we paid him the full amount (not even that cheap compared to the competition) that we had agreed upon and never again. It is unacceptable that certain people do this job like this in 2025, every family ceremony we have been to many different places but we have never even heard about the absurdities we suffered in this place. If you don't want your ceremony to be remembered for centuries as the worst ceremony in history like it happened to us, stay away from this place.

20/05/2025: Yesterday we celebrated my parents 50th anniversary and as always we were deeply impressed by both the exquisite cuisine and the impeccable service. The menu featured a variety of innovative dishes, with bold flavours and beautiful presentation. The attentive and knowledgeable staff made sure our meal was memorable, providing excellent advice and ensuring we were satisfied. I cannot recommend Romano da Carlo enough for a fantastic dining experience and hospitality.. always the TOP.

08/09/2025: ★☆☆☆☆ Disappointing and unacceptable. A Saturday night to forget: over 2 hours of waiting between appetizers and main courses, zero communication, nonexistent service. Mediocre food and a ruined evening. Never again.

05/09/2025: The menu isn't very varied, and in my opinion the dishes aren't very tasty and a bit sad. The location is beautiful, but overall the experience was disappointing.

08/03/2025: Located in a transit area and with good possibilities for free parking, the current business, born from a profound corporate review, now managed by only one of the original family members, historical owners, has had a tiring and courageous "restart" which does not make us regret the old management both for the very competitive prices charged there and for the work of cleaning up products that are not functional for a wholesale stationery sales business. 29/06/2025: You call for 2 takeaway margheritas and they say the minimum delivery is 10 euros and you have to add other things to have the delivery done. The pizzas arrive and they are also burnt... bah

04/09/2025: We had lunch on Ferragosto (August bank holiday) with a set menu. It was crowded, so it's only natural that the service was a little slow, but the waiters were always attentive. Overall, everything was good and plentiful. I particularly enjoyed the tagliata with cherry tomatoes, arugula, and parmesan.

28/07/2025: A place of peace and serenity in the middle of the Alburni mountains since the management changed: excellent cuisine with top quality products, but terrible service and high prices, bathrooms without keys, and a grumpy owner, I will not go there again

27/07/2025: Posto da non consigliare nonostante la prenotazione per 16 persone il menu non corrispondeva alla descrizione antipasto misero il ragù era una mezza bolognese gnocchi con asparagi ,degli asparagi nemmeno la traccia e panna a volontà non si va in montagna per mangiare panna poi spacciata per fonduta pasta non fatta in casa ma acquistata in supermercato ultimo e non ultimo prezzo esageratissimo

12/07/2025: Porzioni scarse, qualità del cibo da rivedere, prezzi alti. Non consiglio rispetto ad altri ristoranti di Vietri. Nella zona c'è se sono altri che meritano.
