18/01/2025: A Michelin recommendation? How? The atmosphere, decor and service were extremely neat and correct, but we found the food to be substandard. How can you serve a steak tartare sweet? Very bad for the flesh. Our main course consisted of a dry piece of simmered meat. Not our thing. We must mention that our first wine, which we thought was not tasty, was also not on the bill, very nice! There really are better restaurants in Salerno. Sorry....

16/01/2025: 5 of us had an amazing dinner at Hydra this December. Tortello alla genovese with truffles is to die for. Food was absolutely exquisite and the service even better. Their wine list is one of the best. Saperavi from Georgia was our favorite choice. I can't wait to go back!!!

13/12/2024: Il 6 Dicembre 2024, con mia moglie, sono stato in questo ristorante che conosco da tantissimo tempo ma che non ci venivo da almeno 6/7 anni. Devo ammettere che i sapori non hanno deluso: i piatti erano ben preparati e di buona qualità, tuttavia, l’esperienza complessiva è stata penalizzata da alcuni aspetti che potrebbero essere migliorati. Come Entrée ci hanno portate due montanarine e noi abbiamo ordinato: Due bruschette con salsiccia e friarielli e una con carciofo, una frittura mista (composta da una montanarina, patatine fritte, un piccolo crocchè e un mini arancino), una parmigiana di melanzane e due dolci (Forniti dalla pasticceria Sal De Riso di Minori), 2 coca zero e 1 acqua. L’ambiente non era curato come ci si aspetterebbe da un locale di questo livello, e i prezzi sono risultati un po’ troppo elevati rispetto al servizio e all’atmosfera offerti (conto finale 60€). Ritengo che con qualche accorgimento sul lato organizzativo e sulla gestione degli spazi, potrebbe diventare un’esperienza davvero completa. Al momento, però, non mi sento di consigliarlo.

16/12/2024: Mancavo in qst ristorante da qualche anno, ne avevo un ottimo ricordo, per cui ho deciso di ritornarci per u na serata con amici...decidiamo di mangiare pesce, antipasto più che caldo direi "riscaldato" i miei amici vanno di risotto (slegato e insipido), io prendo una tagliata di seppia, a tratti cruda, che mi ha provocato problemi intestinali, dolce pessimo, insomma una delusione, credo che qst locale abbia fatto il suo tempo!!! Ah...conto salatissimo!!!

16/09/2024: Locale pulito anche se un po' ad effetto mensa. Personale garbato e attento. La pizza ,inserita come assaggio tra gli antipasti , è sottile e croccante ; a me è piaciuta. Alcuni hanno preso il risotto alla pescatora e l'hanno trovato "slegato, non mantecato, più riso con del pesce che risotto". Chi ha preso la carne l'ha giudicata buona e cotta come richiesto. Io ed un amico abbiamo preso tagliatelle alla puttanesca di seppia e baccalà arrosto . IL baccalà era buono. Le tagliatelle , anche se passabili e sicuramente immagino fatte sul momento , avevano l'aspetto ed il sapore di pasta riscaldata (rimarrà un mistero). Il pomodoro ,quasi polverizzato, era incollato su una pasta priva di callosità ed oltremodo asciutta. Visto il brand mi sarei aspettato qualcosa di meglio. Prezzo medio a persona per due portate (vino incluso ) : 40 euro.

24/09/2024: Wow... how Michelin screwed up the reporting here! We had dinner with the family with the expectation of drinking well - being a wine bar - and eating equally well. Unfortunately both experiences were disappointing. Being a wine shop, in fact, when asked "what wine do you recommend we drink and pair with what we have had?" obviously the waitress's response is surprising: "But I brought you the wine list, what do I know, a red, a rosé!". Equally embarrassing was the moment of choosing the second course: having ordered the cut, the waitress asked how I wanted it cooked. I replied that I liked it medium-rare, receiving - in a rude tone - the reply "either it's medium or it's rare". The same rudeness was expressed when I said that medium-rare cooking exists and that I simply liked it more rare but not really raw. In the end the cut arrived to me well cooked, therefore far from what I had requested and above all not allowing me to enjoy the cut (already very thin and whose price of almost €25 is unjustified). Certain errors can be allowed in a restaurant that does not boast the Michelin recommendation. The service was inattentive and rude, the food I would not recommend, and the bill for dinner was excessive. The only positive note is the location of the terrace under the olive trees.

17/11/2024: Cozy place and exceptional staff. Very tasty sandwich including appetizers, the best in the area. Very average price, excellent quality on all products. I go to them almost once a week! I absolutely recommend!

29/11/2024: Amazing pizza! And even a friendly family of foxes were present to keep us company. My children were more than happy to give them their leftovers.

25/12/2024: For the aperitif on Christmas Eve we chose this lounge bar... And it was the best choice.... The owner together with his staff are uniquely professional and not to mention his fabulous drinks all accompanied with fish first quality.... What to say I highly recommend it for the next eve of the 31st.... It is currently a higher level than the other bars in lower Nocera.... Congratulations and thanks again for the wonderful experience I had there...

20/12/2024: Tasty breakfast. Warm table and inviting and quite exquisite aperitifs considering the quality of the products. A welcoming place to take as a point of reference.

14/11/2024: Ogni volta che ritorno ad Atena Lucana non posso che fermarmi in questo ristorante meraviglioso, dove i piatti sono eccezionali e vari. Il servizio è stupendo e l'atmosfera bellissima soprattutto ora che ci sono anche dei meravigliosi addobbi natalizi, questa cosa mi fa sentire come se fossi in famiglia.

26/10/2024: Cercando qualcosa di dolce dopo aver mangiato una pizza in zona abbiamo trovato questa bakery. Abbiamo provato solo la loro torta Pinguì e devo dire che ci è piaciuta. Molto semplice ma saporita. Pan di Spagna, panna, Nutella e cioccolato bianco. Di solito, i prodotti di queste bakery sdegnano dopo qualche morso ma questa invece è stato un piacere mangiarla fino all’ultimo boccone. Non posso giudicare le altre tipologie di torta. Da provare.

16/07/2024: In assoluto il migliore yogurt che abbia mai mangiato, sia normale che senza lattosio! Tutto ottimo, a partire dalla semplice crêpes, ai dolci più elaborati e le torte! Super consigliato!

07/12/2024: Kindness, helpfulness and courtesy from times gone by which up in the North... Called this morning and asked if they could kindly bring me some typical local products since I have the flu at the B&B where I'm staying. The owner tells me to call him back after half an hour because today being Saturday the guys who make home deliveries in the afternoon perhaps aren't working, in fact I call back and he tells me that they aren't working but...that he himself closed the shop for a break and would have brought them to me where accommodation, so it was, thank you very much again for your kindness, courtesy and availability as well as your products which are a guarantee!

Abbiamo gustato piatti deliziosi ed il personale è stato di aiuto e gentile. Abbiamo avuto modo di creare un ambiente per socializzare e festeggiare insieme. 29/12/2024: My experience at this pizzeria was disappointing in many respects. The pizza dough was decidedly underworked: intense, practically raw and very difficult to digest. Even the products used did not seem of quality to me: the buffalo stracciata was tasteless and the toasted cherry tomatoes were incredibly acidic, making the pizza unpleasant. Another negative note was the lack of clarity on the menu: it was not specified that it was a focaccia and not a traditional pizza, which is why I found myself faced with something completely different from what I expected. To make matters worse, the place is really small, with very few seats (around 25). Even though we had booked and received confirmation, we had to wait about 40 minutes beyond the agreed time to be seated. This, combined with the feeling of being "rushed" immediately after finishing eating, made the whole experience very uncomfortable and rushed. As for the quality-price ratio, I would say that it is not justified at all: a €14 focaccia is not worth what is offered. Finally, the toilets were dirty and poorly maintained, an aspect that certainly does not contribute to a positive impression. It's absolutely not worth it. The priority seems to be the quantity of customers rather than the quality of the experience.
