27/05/2025: Incastonato sulla suggestiva costa della Penisola Sorrentina, Coku è molto più di un semplice ristorante: è un’esperienza sensoriale a tutto tondo. A picco sul mare, con una veduta che lascia senza fiato — soprattutto al tramonto, quando il sole si tuffa lentamente nel blu del Tirreno — questo locale fonde con maestria la freschezza del Mediterraneo con l’equilibrio raffinato della cucina giapponese. Il concept si potrebbe definire “Mediterasian”, e non è solo una trovata di marketing: ogni piatto racconta un equilibrio preciso tra due mondi gastronomici apparentemente lontani, ma che qui dialogano in maniera sorprendentemente naturale. Il crudo di mare, freschissimo, si arricchisce di sfumature orientali grazie all’uso sapiente di spezie leggere e marinature a base di agrumi, mentre il tonno scottato si accompagna a note agrumate e delicate emulsioni che valorizzano la materia prima senza mai coprirla. I sapori non sono mai forzati, e ogni portata è curata anche dal punto di vista visivo, in un gioco di colori e forme che richiama la precisione della tradizione giapponese. La carta dei vini e dei sakè è ampia e ben pensata, e il servizio è attento, cordiale e mai invadente. Coku non è solo un ristorante, ma un luogo dove il mare, la luce e il gusto si fondono in un’esperienza memorabile. Ideale per una cena romantica o per chi cerca un momento speciale da ricordare. 13/07/2025: A truly enchanting place! The restaurant is located very high up, offering a breathtaking view. The ambiance is elegant, both inside and out. Outside, in particular, there are two flower-filled swings that create a romantic atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and taking some beautiful photos. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive, making us feel welcomed throughout our lunch. The food was truly delicious and of excellent quality! I absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an elegant and peaceful setting. Perfect for a special lunch or dinner, or even just to enjoy a moment of relaxation.

07/08/2025: Sono stata in tantissime pizzerie, ma nessuna era in grado di soddisfare il mio palato. Mangio senza glutine e senza lattosio e da quando ho conosciuto SUSTABLE non li lascio più… c’è’ una vasta scelta a partire dalle inimitabili frittatine, pizze di ogni gusto e per finire dolci squisiti. Anche chi soffre di queste intolleranze può mangiare di tutto e di più e la cosa più importante di tutto e’ la qualità… infatti quando assaggi la pizza senti sul palato il gusto di altissima qualità dei prodotti. Consiglio vivamente a chi mangia come me SENZA GLUTINE, SENZA LATTOSIO, VEGANO

Qui non si parla solo di ottima pizza, ma di un’esperienza che mette al centro la qualità, il rispetto per ogni esigenza alimentare e una passione autentica che si respira in ogni dettaglio. Il vero protagonista? Il maestro pizzaiolo Roberto, che con maestria e dedizione crea impasti leggeri, fragranti e incredibilmente digeribili. Il senza glutine, in particolare, è qualcosa di eccezionale: croccante al punto giusto, ricco di gusto e con una consistenza che conquista anche i palati più esigenti. È raro trovare un’alternativa gluten free così ben fatta — qui, invece, è una vera eccellenza. La cura verso chi ha intolleranze è palpabile: nessuna improvvisazione, solo attenzione, professionalità e sensibilità. Ogni pizza viene preparata in ambiente sicuro, con la massima attenzione alla contaminazione e al benessere del cliente. L’ambiente è moderno, accogliente e rilassato, perfetto sia per una cena tra amici che per una serata speciale. Il servizio è attento, sorridente e mai invadente — un altro segno della filosofia di Sustable: far sentire ogni cliente a casa. Una tappa obbligata per chi ama la buona pizza, con o senza glutine. 07/02/2025: We went to this sandwich delicatessen, attracted by the display full of products that promised high quality and a wide selection. The place is small but well-stocked, with a display that encourages purchasing. We decided to try a cereal bread, stuffed following the advice of the girl at the counter, who proved to be very kind and helpful. However, once tasted, the initial enthusiasm faded. Unfortunately, the quality of the products did not meet expectations: The cereal bread had an anonymous taste, excessively sweet for a savory sandwich, resulting in a lack of balance. The Asiago was completely flavourless, lacking the creaminess and tanginess you would expect from a good cheese. The escarole were cold, poorly cooked and not very tasty, giving the sensation of an ingredient thrown in there without particular care. Given the prices and the careful presentation, we would have expected greater attention to the quality and flavor of the sandwich. Another aspect that left us perplexed is the lack of a clear price list, particularly for cured meats, sold without a visible indication of the cost per kilo. Greater transparency would be desirable. Ultimately, the place certainly has potential, thanks to the variety of products and the kindness of the staff, but the gastronomic experience did not live up to expectations. If they improved the quality and clarity of pricing, it could be a really interesting place.

21/07/2025: Servizio lento ma carissimo....12% ( non segnato sul menù, sul quale manca anche il costo delle bibite) oltre ovviamente al coperto...ovvero su un conto di 70 euro X2 persone..un servizio di 10€....e 3 euro di coperto PS E me ne sono accorta perché avevano anche aggiunto,5 euro in più adun piatto il cui costo era indicato sul menù.

24/05/2025: Local on the main street of Casalnuovo without parking. A few tables outside on the sidewalk in front and internal room with tables very close together with little privacy and a little too dark environment for my taste. Wide choice of menus with appetizers, snacks, first courses, second courses and sandwiches and zingara (two slices of stuffed cafone bread). Good chips, montanare a little heavy. Simple and very good sandwich and zingara. Desert: excellent house specialty cheesecake various flavors. Friendly service. Average price.

22/05/2025: A very pleasant discovery! The place is welcoming, the staff is friendly and attentive, but the real strong point is the cuisine: very good pizza, well-filled and with high-quality ingredients. The restaurant's dishes are also well-prepared and tasty. Attentive and fast service.

14/07/2025: Il posto è molto bello e probabilmente, almeno dall' aspetto, si mangia anche bene. Peccato per l' assoluta carenza di comunicazione. Ho chiesto a telefono se facessero la pizza senza glutine. La risposta è stata "certamente". Ma quella che ho mangiato non è una pizza, bensì una base precotta confezionata poi farcita ed infornata. Chi è celiaco sa che non è la stessa cosa. Sicuramente ci si accontenta di questo quando ci si ritrova ad una cerimonia o con amici laddove non sei tu a scegliere il locale. Allora ringrazi Dio di avere anche tu la possibilità di mangiare senza sentirti emarginato. Ma quando invece vuoi andare a mangiare una pizza e telefoni appositamente per informarti, allora meriti una risposta onesta: "usiamo il disco precotto confezionato". Avrei scelto un' altra pizzeria. Così come le bellissime giostrine. Io chiedo "si può accedere?" Si certo. Poi mi trovo il supplemento alla cassa sul conto. Senza alcun cenno al fatto che era un servizio a pagamento.

15/07/2025: After being in Sorrento for the last week I’ve tried several places and this one we passed by several times and decided to try it on our last night. Being let down on some of the highly rated places this was a very well welcomed surprised on the whole experience. You can taste the love and care in the food. We got the calamari, chef special of Seabass with vegetables, meat sauce with a home made paste, and the Diablo sauce pasta. All food was seasoned perfect and done perfectly. Do not pass on this hidden gem. My experience is 10 years in the Resturant industry in US and my wife’s experience is 25 years in high end Resturant’s around the world.

14/07/2025: Food was ok. Nothing exciting. Staff fall at your feet when you arrive but quickly their rudeness appears. Waiter treated a lovely gentle younger waiter like crap. Was so rude to him in front of the handful of customers. Safe to say we won't be going back. Endless array of gorgeous restaurants to eat in in sorrento that aren't just there to demand a tip at the end. Tried to sneak a tip to the lovely younger waiter but the rude guy was glaring at us from he sidelines throughout. Stunning building and has great potential, shame about the rudeness.
