25/05/2025: This morning we went to Polaccheria for breakfast and unfortunately the experience was very negative. We found hairs in both the coffee and the water, an episode that, although rare, can happen. What really struck us negatively was the total lack of reaction from the staff. After having reported the incident to both the bartenders and the manager, no one even deigned to apologize or comment on the situation. An attitude of total indifference that denotes poor professionalism and lack of respect towards customers. Zero empathy, zero interest in the inconvenience caused to customers, as if we were completely invisible. A behavior that betrays a mentality that is not oriented towards service and respect for people. We would have expected at least a sincere apology. Instead we were shocked by the silence and the apparent carelessness shown. Hygiene and customer care should be absolute priorities in a bar. Unfortunately this experience will not encourage us to return. *In response to your reply: I would like to point out that the apology NEVER arrived, neither when we reported the incident nor at the time of payment at the cash register. The attitude shown by all the staff was one of total indifference. If you really feel "embarrassed" by what happened, this embarrassment was not even slightly evident in your behavior. It is curious how the apology is arriving only now, publicly, after a review. A professional attitude would have required immediate and spontaneous apologies, not justifications after the fact. Professionalism is demonstrated in times of need, not in superficial responses on social media. I confirm: this experience will not encourage us to return.

17/06/2025: Welcoming and helpful. Nice large place suitable for large groups and events. The pizzeria is not the one of our youth. I returned after years and I ate an excellent Angus steak, just (not) cooked and an ice cream with fruit. Completely renovated place

02/06/2025: The restaurant is centrally located in the town, in an area where parking is not possible, but you can park comfortably and for free in the central square 400 meters and 5 minutes walk away. Simple and homely premises, but clean, very friendly service. Good choice on the menu, especially among appetizers and first courses. We tried an eggplant parmigiana, then a plate of mezzes paccheri with three cherry tomatoes very appreciated both for the quality of the ingredients and for the preparation. The desserts were also excellent, with delicate flavors without exaggerating in sugar. The only complaint, the waiting time for the first course, excessively long, it must be said however that they apologized for the wait. I therefore recommend the place and I intend to return.

16/05/2025: Prenotiamo un tavolo tramite the fork per tre persone. Accoglienza ottima location molto bella. Menù con ampia scelta tra pizze antipasti primi e secondi! Noi optiamo per una pizza mignon per la bambina e un tagliere di salumi tutto molto buono proseguiamo con una tagliata di manzo e pancia di maiale tutto ottimo! Buoni anke i dolci prezzo ottimo!!! Also a wide choice of chicken pizza and sandwiches of all kinds, super stuffed. Average prices. I recommend everyone to try this fantastic place!

12/05/2025: Purtroppo per niente un’esperienza positiva. Gruppo di 11 persone per la festa della mamma…avevano preparato il menù apposito ma ci dicono che potevamo scegliere anche alla carta. Non tutti erano disposti a mangiare tutto il menù. Un antipasto, consigliato di scegliere singolo perché non facevano il solito loro…ma comunque scarno di quantità considerato il costo di 16€. Per praticità ci chiedono di scegliere tra le portate di primi che avevano preparato per il menù… Arrivano i primi galleggianti nell’acqua allungata di un sugo apparente ai frutti mare…(di cui si presentavano solo cozze vongole) Addirittura due tipologie di scialatielli nello stesso piatto…e poi un piatto dimenticato arrivato quando tutti avevano finito…che galleggiava nell’acqua più degli altri. Il succo è stato…di 10 antipasti (valutati per costo alla carta) 8 primi (valutati per costo alla carta) 1 tagliata (era una bistecca tagliata tra l’altro che gli altri mangiavano nel menu) 2 secondi (valutati per costo alla carta e tra quelli a scelta del menu del giorno) vino e bibite…abbiamo pagato singolarmente più di chi ha preso il menù…tra l’altro portando il contenuto dei nostri piatti a casa per i cani che abbiamo pur di non buttarli. Poca onestà nel consigliarci, qualità più che pessima…forse non si sanno gestire numerose affluenze in giorni di festa. Da evitare assolutamente

26/04/2025: I just bought some pieces of margherita pizza and had to throw them away. Dried pasta, sour tomato, the mozzarella on top which looked fake, it was so hard and had just come out of the oven! It had already happened that I had bought a macaroni omelette and I had to throw it away because the ham inside had gone bad. The blonde shop assistant is also a big rude person, so teach her how to behave towards customers before putting her behind a counter! Personally I will never set foot there again 🚫🚫🚫

15/04/2025: Big disappointment. I ordered 2 pizzas at Christmas weighing 1,500 g.. the first one didn't respect the ingredients and it was escarole. I asked for it with pine nuts, olives and raisins. They gave me a pizza that tasted like boiled meat, that is, boiled escarole with whole olives inside and nothing else. The second was a stuffed pizza. I asked for it with the specification of strictly not putting anything spicy due to allergy problems.. the sales assistant wrote down everything scrupulously. They delivered me a pizza with a note on it. written: the salami is spicy!! Things from another world..🤣🤣. I laugh so as not to cry.. Never again in this bakery!!!! One star only for the review
