The place is very intimate, we felt at home. The guys and the owner were so sweet and impeccable, both in their service and courtesy, and in small touches like serving the women first. 07/01/2026: We stumbled upon this place almost by accident... we were looking for somewhere near the B&B we'd booked in Benevento and close to the sights. We found the place using maps, looked at reviews, and social media profiles... and so we went in. Even though we hadn't booked, and the place was full, they set up a table for us right away... the courtesy and attention were exceptional. The food and cocktails were delicious, and we were treated to a complimentary glass of "Strega" at the end. If you happen to be passing through or staying in Benevento, Il Gnostro is highly recommended.

Everything was accompanied by an excellent wine from their cellar, which deserves a special mention: it's truly extensive and packed with labels, capable of satisfying every taste and showcasing the dishes to perfection. A place where you eat well, drink well, and above all, feel welcomed. If you're passing through Pietrelcina, stopping here is almost a must. Highly recommended!
