05/07/2025: We got some take-out to stay at the Telese hotel and we were super satisfied! The parmigiana was wonderful, spectacular, rich, delicious! The same goes for the stuffed peppers that reminded me of my grandmother's. Very good bread. Worth a stop

21/07/2025: Historic pastry shop in the center of San Marco dei Cavoti. Their specialty is torroncini, which are made exclusively with chocolate. The white torrone I tried was also delicious. For single-serving desserts, the cassatina and cannoli are also truly worth a try.

07/12/2025: As an appetizer, the classic frittatina was excellent: dry breading and a soft, succulent filling. Pizza montanara (a cream of shredded vegetables and fried sausage), fried and baked with a multigrain dough and mixed seeds added during the final stage of cooking: an innovative and very tasty pizza. Pizza with melt-in-the-mouth pancetta and mashed potatoes from Taburno: very tasty with high-quality ingredients. The "Birra del Borgo Ducale" craft beer was good. The only drawback was the over-lighting (for my taste) in the dining room. A well-deserved 50top pizza italy award.

01/12/2025: Nice and welcoming place, friendly and helpful staff. My pizza was good, with quality ingredients, but be careful when cooking it. My friends' pizzas were a bit undercooked (a shame considering the quality of the ingredients).

07/11/2025: Unfortunately, I can only review the place and the staff's helpfulness. We arrived this evening and they tried to accommodate us despite the event being held below. I was sad to leave without being able to order anything, but the menu wasn't in line with my family's preferences. Thank you anyway for also offering us the opportunity to check with the kitchen to further accommodate our requests. We'll see you again some other time, hopefully. :)

24/09/2025: Beautiful winery with catering service and an adjoining fry shop. Excellent traditional dishes and excellent wines. Giggino, his wife, and the staff are very courteous and welcoming, and can advise and satisfy even the most discerning palates! Thank you, and see you next time!

09/11/2025: Perhaps the most beautiful restaurant in this medieval village: well-kept, clean, and with a relaxing atmosphere. Prices are almost Michelin-starred, the owner is very kind, but the portions are incredibly small... you'll leave feeling almost hungry. Unfortunately, the wait staff seems rather inexperienced, probably fresh out of hotel school: they make gross errors and don't seem to be supervised by anyone. The bottle is opened but the cork isn't put to the nose, while a waitress doesn't know the dish she's serving and sends it back (an incident we witnessed at the table next to ours). When you spend €20 for a first course with such small portions, certain details shouldn't be overlooked. Reservations are absolutely essential on weekends, otherwise it's difficult to find a table.

19/09/2025: Magnificent medieval-style restaurant with very elaborate cuisine. We highly recommend it.

02/11/2025: Today we visited this restaurant for the first time, which we discovered is run by the fourth generation. It therefore boasts nearly 100 years of experience. We enjoyed house appetizers, with cured meats and local buffalo mozzarella, homemade red and white lasagna, cardoon soup with local ingredients, and desserts, including a pastiera from around the world that can be presented at the King's table. Everything was excellent, from the genuine ingredients to the craftsmanship. Thanks, and especially to the very friendly Mr. Pino. Alberto Palmieri and family.

02/11/2025: Warm and welcoming atmosphere with traditional Benevento cuisine. Generous and tasty dishes. A wide selection of first and second courses, side dishes, and desserts are available on the menu. Excellent liqueurs and DOC wines are also available. Perfect table service. Friendly staff and welcoming owners.

09/11/2025: The location is a bit out of town. As for the food, the pizza wasn't perfectly cooked; at times, the dough seemed raw. What we didn't like was the insistence and pressure the waiters put on us. We hadn't even sat down before they were asking if we were ready to order. Once our orders arrived, they would occasionally pop up as if they were about to take our plates away. One of the waiters even nearly took away a portion of fries, seeing us still eating. This was really disappointing; I don't think I'll return.
