13/10/2025: Arriving here, because of it size, you might not think this is a local, family run pizzeria.
We are on Sunday evening, the night the town come out for pizza. After a big family lunch, everyone takes to the streets for the passeggiata, the walk through the town.
We then went for the pizza. The pizza menu is large. Deciding is the hardest part. I had the bacalla pizza. I never had fish, except anchovies, on a pizza. We order, they brought a 1/2 liter of red wine and a bottle of water. We filled our glasses, toasted - and the pizza was heading our way.
It was fantastic. It surpassed a few pizzas I had had in Napoli. Yes, that good.

We had booked well in advance for a group of 24, yet they seated us at two separate tables, one of which was tiny and seated seven, creating considerable discomfort. The tables were outside despite the forecast for bad weather. When it started to rain, those seated near the wall got completely soaked, along with their plates, cutlery, glasses, and bottles.
Only later did they prepare an indoor dining area, but they asked us to bring our own plates and dishes, as if we were waiters.
Excessively expensive and lacking air conditioning.
Unprofessional behavior and poor organization. We won't be returning.
12/08/2025: Dinner with traditional products: the location is enchanting, both inside (in a tuff cave) and outside with arches offering a magnificent view. The appetizer with traditional products was rather disappointing (compared to the Irpinia variety!): only three small, unremarkable mozzarella balls and a few pieces of aged cheese. Service was slow and unprofessional: for example, the wine was already opened and brought to the table... As for the rest, the meat dishes were good but in modest quantities. Especially the lamb, which was more bone than meat... the place, however, has great potential. Definitely worth trying again.

18/08/2025: Excellent pizza, exceptional dough, quality ingredients, and refined, authentic local flavors. The waiters are helpful and friendly, but occasionally absent. The outdoor setting is welcoming and intimate.

13/01/2025: The staff were friendly and courteous. The pizza was good, with the only complaint being the Capricciosa, which had strips of cooked ham. A slice is definitely recommended. The fried food was excellent, although the arancini weren't hot in the center. Excellent value for money.

10/11/2025: Found by chance, but it's a highly recommended place. Unfortunately, it's not listed on the menu, but this place offers gluten-free and lactose-free products and sandwiches, especially without sacrificing taste and quality, as the sandwich remains virtually the same.
The staff is knowledgeable and attentive to customer needs. I will definitely return and recommend it.

11/09/2025: A little gem! Despite its small size, the pizzeria is perfectly organized. The pizza is exceptional: light, with the freshest, most flavorful ingredients. The prices are very fair, and the staff is always friendly. A delicious experience I recommend to everyone and will definitely be back!

I simply called to cancel a reservation and, instead of receiving a polite or professional response, they hung up on me without even letting me finish speaking. This is disrespectful and unacceptable behavior toward customers. I will definitely not return and I strongly advise against this place to anyone looking for reliability and respect.
29/06/2025: We absolutely loved this restaurant! Try the cingule- it is a dish specific to Calitri and not to be missed! The staff was also very helpful providing directions around the city. Thank you for the wonderful evening!

26/07/2025: Siamo stati a cena al ristorante San Vincenzo di Gesualdo. Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo la qualità del buon cibo genuino e la squisita ospitalità della signora Fernanda. La pizza ci ha davvero meravigliato per l’impasto soffice e la bontà degli ingredienti.
Un’esperienza da ripetere.
