The restaurant is stuck in the 90s, but that's fine because it's fabulous. The food is super authentic. Paccheri with wild boar, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, ravioli with truffles and walnuts, a super-abundant mixed sliced ​​meat, excellent house Aglianico, and what more can I say? We had a really good time. I'd been missing it for a long time because I was always going to the Cilento area, but I think Tornola will see me more often because it's not just good, but wonderful. We celebrated a friend's birthday here and the experience was truly enjoyable: rich and tasty appetizers, excellent cured meats, a truly exquisite mushroom first course, and a carefully served and very flavorful second course. The intimate atmosphere, good food, and charming location: definitely a place to return to!

10/12/2025: We went to this place after reading good reviews, but for us it was a truly awful and expensive experience. Now I'll explain why. Four of us went. The owner greeted us and said, "I'll do it." When they say that, you're in for a rip-off. He said, "Let's start with the appetizers." For four people, he brought appetizers for two, and, for example, I had to share a slice of prosciutto with my wife and my friend with his. The same goes for the other appetizers. We were on an empty stomach. We ordered macaroni with guanciale and a tagliata. The macaroni, like the appetizers, was to be shared between four, and the tagliata was truly awful: no porcini mushrooms, just a few shavings of parmesan and some wilted arugula. But it doesn't end there. Usually after a meal, people ask for an amaro. And what does the owner do? Guess what? He brings two small glasses of amaro to share between four of us. Outrageous. But the icing on the cake was the bill. For not having eaten, we paid not for two people since we split everything, but for four. Total: €120. The food and the price were truly awful. In the end, reviews are worthless. Bye.

19/04/2026: I was looking for a place to eat on a Sunday. It's not a given in the area. I knew the place and went straight for it. They had a set menu, but they agreed to serve us à la carte. The wait was more than acceptable. The view from the waterfall was spectacular, the steak was truly excellent, the prices were excellent... Overall, a truly excellent experience. I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

15/02/2026: It was our first time visiting Casalbore. After an hour's drive, we found ourselves in a very special place: at the entrance to the village, there's a small waterfall, from which the restaurant takes its name. The service was excellent, and the food was equally delicious. Aside from the chilly atmosphere, we visited this restaurant with our daughter; it must have been the location, on the corner of the veranda between two windows. Otherwise, the atmosphere was very nice, with ample parking in front of the restaurant. The waiters and staff were very friendly. My daughter really enjoyed the aquarium at the entrance.

I celebrated my 50th birthday on April 30, 2026, at Tenuta Ippocrate, and it was an experience I would repeat exactly the same. I'll start with the food, which is fundamental to me: the highest quality, but also true abundance. Each dish is meticulously crafted, with authentic flavors and perfect balance. A special thanks to Chef Aldo Basile, with whom I shared this journey step by step: professionalism, availability, and passion in every choice. Chef Aldo Basile is the beating heart of the Tenuta. Thanks also to the very sweet Matilde at reception, always present and attentive, and to all the dining room staff: very young but truly prepared, polite, and impeccable in their service. Thanks also to Antonella Perrino, owner of Tenuta Ippocrate, for her presence, kindness, and refinement. The decorations, curated by the wonderful Daniela of "La Valigia di Carta," were elegant, harmonious, and perfectly in keeping with the evening's theme. Photographer Arpaia captured every moment with great sensitivity and professionalism.
