27/11/2025: I went to Gigione for lunch when things are a bit busier. Ordering à la carte is best. You check your preferences and create your own menu. You pay and they give you a reservation number. Meanwhile, you wait or sit at a table. When they call you, you go and collect, sit down, and eat. The products are truly good and fresh.

02/12/2025: The restaurant presents itself as a traditional, rustic tavern with a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive to our every need. We went on a Sunday with a fixed menu of €35 per person. We started with an endless appetizer, with all kinds of cured meats, mozzarella, ricotta, fried meatballs, parmigiana, artichokes, all fresh and authentic products. This was followed by the excellent and generous first courses: lardiata and bucatini with Ischian-style rabbit. Then came pork ribs, skewers, sausages, and fries. Dessert was fruit and liqueurs. The wine was also excellent. The service was impeccable. Our glasses were never empty, and the food arrived promptly. Everything was delicious, generous portions, and very fair prices. We had a fantastic experience, we'll be back very soon! Definitely worth a try. Highly recommended!

12/11/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant and expected it to be "good" given the reviews, but I have to say the dinner exceeded our expectations! Starting with the attentive and friendly wait staff, never intrusive but just the right amount... their friendliness and professionalism were truly 5-star! We had a hard time choosing from the many delicacies on offer... we opted for the Capofritto and the grilled octopus with potatoes, which was exquisite, tender, and cooked to perfection... the same was true for the fried food, tasty, light, and flavorful... We continued with the mezzo pacchero with red tuna and the swordfish with artichokes and orange... finally, a delicious and tasty swordfish... Everything was beautiful to look at and delicious to eat! We were completely satisfied! 5 stars well deserved!

06/12/2025: I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but this pizza was a disaster from start to finish. The moment it arrived, it was basically a soup with a crust. The entire plate was flooded with watery tomato liquid, making the base completely soggy and impossible to pick up. The dough itself was undercooked and gluey, and the cheese slid off in clumps the moment I tried to cut it. By the time I got halfway through, it looked more like a messy puddle than a proper pizza. For a place that claims to serve quality pizza, this was extremely disappointing. No texture, no structure, no flavour—just a wet, sloppy plate of dough and tomato water. Definitely not worth the money.

The cuisine was simply extraordinary: the seafood risotto, velvety and rich in seafood; the Genovese di mare, a surprising and memorable dish; the fried fish, crispy and fragrant, the kind that stays in your heart. Each course spoke the language of care, technique, and tradition reinterpreted with finesse. A true triumph of flavors. But what made this experience truly unique was the staff's warmth. Milena, Fabiana, and all their colleagues didn't just serve us: they cared for us with a rare sweetness and compassion. We saw them become emotional during the most intense moments of our lunch, and this transformed a simple service into a gesture of affection we will never forget. A special thanks goes to Giuseppe, the manager, who guided us every step of the way, from choosing the menu to our arrival. Always present, attentive, never intrusive, he made us feel welcomed as guests of honor. Thanks to him, we felt as if we were being "taken by the hand" throughout this special day. 01/12/2025: Recommended by the owner of a nearby B&B. She told me it opens at 6:30 pm, so we stopped by at 7:30 pm. Unfortunately, it was closed. It's a shame we were very excited about dining there. I checked the update 6 weeks ago and the opening hours matched what I'd been told, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. It was closed on a Monday. It's a shame, we would have been happy to visit given the reviews and the B&B owner's recommendation.

28/11/2025: It was very delicious. I read reviews saying the food was lightly seasoned, but I found it to be rather strong. There were no issues with the food or the service, but the strong smell from the aroma candles prevented me from enjoying the aroma of the food, and watching TV on the large TV in the restaurant ruined the atmosphere. I would definitely come back next time I'm in Naples.

Mi hanno servito una fetta di spigola sfilettata piena di spine ed alla mia lamentela il cameriere mi ha suggerito di non ordinare pesce se non gradisco. Ho mandato indietro il piatto e preso un hamburger e nel conto avevano inserito anche la spigola. La qualità dei prodotti,come vengono cucinati e il servizio non sono adatti al nome. È la seconda cattiva esperienza. Non andrò più.

Maar op 14 mei 2025 ('s avonds) was de pizza nogal slap. Een beetje pannenkoek structuur. In Italië zegt men wel dat een pizza met de hand kan eten. Dat was hier beslist niet het geval.
