23/09/2025: Finally, a sandwich shop with a thoughtful and interesting offering. The sandwiches are delicious; the fries with the "palette" of sauces is a simple yet effective idea, especially since they're delicious. Really worth trying! Finally, a sandwich with a purpose, not the usual "gourmet" options you find around.

03/10/2025: Recommended by friends who live in the area, this restaurant serves traditional Neapolitan cuisine, expertly revisited. The atmosphere is informal, elegant, and clean, reminiscent of an old tavern, with renovated furniture and terracotta floors. There were four of us, and we sampled their 5-course mixed appetizer platter... EXCELLENT! A first course included homemade fettuccine with Marsala red prawns and savory custard; three main courses included grilled cod with stewed escarole; tender braised veal cheek with mashed potatoes; and grilled veal fillet with roasted cherry tomatoes and Parmesan fondue. Four desserts included a revisited crème brulee, a mille-feuille with custard and black cherry sauce, a lemon and mandarin sorbet, and a sweetened baked apple with sweet crunchy biscuits. The total price was €200, including a bottle of rosé wine and three bottles of mineral water. The service was quick and friendly from the two young waiters. Located in the town center, with its own private, secure parking lot, on the side of the road. If you want to enjoy traditional dishes, well-cooked and slightly revisited... this is the place to go!

08/10/2025: A restaurant with a lovely terrace overlooking the lake, a strong point. It's a shame it was raining so much that we had to sit inside in a nice, informal setting. The dishes were well-presented, good, but nothing exceptional. There was a misunderstanding with the waiter. We ordered two spaghetti dishes with asparagus and shrimp tartare from the menu, and they brought us spaghetti with zucchini and a raw shrimp. The kitchen excused itself by saying it wasn't asparagus season, so they substituted zucchini without letting us know. The dish was good, but I wanted something else; I certainly wouldn't have ordered it; I came for seafood. All in all, everything was good, not exceptional, but good. The service and cuisine were family-style. Based on the reviews I'd read, I expected more.

07/09/2025: We visited on a Sunday afternoon and had some great pizza. We saw it from the road, pulled over and easily parked, walked in and were quickly seen to. Friendly staff and lots of options on the menu. We were happy with our food! (Even if we ate more than needed!)

19/10/2025: Terrible service! That’s how our table looked like 45 minutes after ordering our main dishes - empty. Our pasta was served 45 minutes upon ordering, while on other tables (seated after us) dishes were brought sooner. When finally served the pasta was totally undercooked. Yet most disappointing was the service. Would not recommend!

15/10/2025: A pleasant discovery.... As soon as we arrived in Naples, we asked the taxi driver where we could eat well in the Spanish Quarter, and he recommended this place. We've been hooked ever since. Simple food, but excellent as it should be. Fast and friendly service. Eugenio and Suleman are truly spectacular, making lunch and dinner truly enjoyable. The dishes? Sublime, to say the least. The tartare mix and the spaghetti with mussels and clams are something special. We came here three times during our stay in Naples... when we return in May, we'll be your customers again. GO A PIGNATA

27/08/2025: We went to Porca Vacca in Salerno and what an incredible experience! The meat is amazing, and being able to sear it directly on the grill was a real treat. The potatoes with mushrooms are incredibly good, and the attentive staff constantly changed the cutlery between courses, taking care of every detail. And the dessert... wow! I've never tasted a dessert with such pleasure! Welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, and impeccable service: 5 stars, well deserved!

13/10/2025: We've been for lunch several times, and even though it was Sunday (on this day the establishment offers "Sunday lunch," meaning you don't eat à la carte, so there's a standard menu for everyone, very varied but consistent), the owner, Roberto, was very accommodating to those who were currently following a special diet. Furthermore, during the week, he offers a fairly extensive menu of typical local dishes, authentic cured meats and cheeses. The side dishes are also noteworthy, not to mention the homemade desserts. The wine selection is good, including the local one, a decent table wine. In any case, L'oste contadino allows you to spend a day in a characteristic place, combining the pleasure of a beautiful stroll with that of good food. Congratulations again to Roberto and his staff.

25/09/2025: I dined at Oste Contadino last night and had a truly exceptional experience. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism, immediately creating a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious and the service impeccable, especially the truly light pizza. The prices are fair for the quality of the food and service offered.

10/10/2025: We (my daughter and I) went last night without a reservation, knowing fully well that we were more than likely to be turned away as they were fully booked. The lady at the reception was very kind and agreed to let us order at the bar when she saw that my 10 year old really wanted to eat Japanese after a week of pizza and pasta. The food is incredible - the taste, the plating and the techniques. But above all, it was the friendliness and the ‚customer above all‘ attitude of the entire wait staff, especially Beverly, that made our experience there amazing. She even got us free dessert! It is more expensive than other restaurants in Naples, but for fresh seafood of this quality, you cannot expect to pay less. Thanks so much

05/11/2025: I've been coming here every weekend for almost two years now. I call it my go-to pizzeria, and they've never disappointed me. Being lactose intolerant, I'm always worried about getting sick and not digesting the ingredients properly, and this has happened to me often in other places, but never here. Sooner or later, I'll try eating there. The only small "flaw" is that they often disconnect the phone, so you can't order by cell phone. However, I understand that it's best not to overload people with orders, because I imagine the phone will always ring. That, however, has never stopped me from ordering from them. You just have to go there, perhaps around 8-8:30 PM, and in about 15-20 minutes, the pizza is ready. I also had the opportunity to try the delivery service, which they only offer on orders with a minimum spend of €12-15, and I was also happy with it. I hope my opinion remains the same. I'm attaching a delicious Nerano with lactose-free pancetta.

04/11/2025: Terrible service, wrong orders, and a huge bill!! I am deeply disappointed with my experience at this pizzeria. The rudeness of the staff was the most painful aspect, making the entire dinner unpleasant. We felt condescending throughout the evening. In addition to the rudeness, the order management was disastrous: 1. I had specifically requested a pizza for the children with only tomato sauce, and we were served a pizza with an enormous amount of tomato sauce. 2. For drinks, we had asked for two glasses of medium beer, and we were served an incomprehensible 1.5-liter mug. 3. The most annoying mistake was with the dough: my mother had ordered a pizza with whole wheat dough, and she was served a perfectly normal pizza with classic dough. All these errors, although reported, were handled with extreme coldness. Finally, the quality of the pizza was anything but memorable; it was barely passable and in no way justifies the decidedly excessive prices charged. We won't be returning and I strongly advise against this place for anyone looking for good service and minimal customer attention.

15/10/2025: The waiter, Ciro, was very pleasant, provided excellent service, with a great sense of humor. He even brought French fries to go with the beer as a compliment. We were very impressed!

14/10/2025: A pleasant, informal, and friendly atmosphere: it's a great place to be with friends. The service is friendly and attentive, if a little slow. My only small flaw: they forgot to add potatoes to my sandwich. Overall, a positive experience, definitely recommended!
