First of all, the service was very fast. Rafael was incredibly interested. We said meat and potatoes were both delicious. We were satisfied. We paid €51 for 2 aperols, meat and potatoes.

Domenico invited us and we accepted to try it. Homemade and tasty food. Fair price considering the touristy location. Domenico is a character all his own. Friendly, speaking several languages. My wife ordered gnocchi Sorrentina and loved it!

We ate at Bollicine in Sorrento tonight. It's a small, family-run authentic Italian eatery. I'll preface this by saying there was an American party of 5 (mum, dad plus 3 kids that they didn't really control). They complained loudly about every bit of food at the end, probably in order to get a reduction in the bill. They also mentioned loudly on the way out that they were going to leave a bad review. This may serve to counter that. There was another Australian party of 3 at the table next to us (we are also Australian) and we noted that we were having similar conversations about the behaviour of the Americans. In our opinion, the food and service was outstanding (and we were eating similar food from the same kitchen as the Americans). The pasta was fresh and home made. The ingredients were fresh and the portion sizes were generous. My daughter commented that it was the perfect sauce to pasta ratio. Prices for food and drinks were quite reasonable.

A FABULOUS meal! The sea bass main meal with potatoes read stunning! Thank you to the lovely lady who stopped is in the street and recommended it... (You know who you are, and we hope you enjoy the Take That Concert) The service was fabulous and sitting in the narrow street was a real delight. DO NOT walk past this lovely place.

A truly wonderful experience. We found this place by chance, and did not regret it. My girlfriend has a gluten and nut intolerance and they had specially hand made gluten free pasta and gluten free bread. Our mains were fantastic and the staff work super hard to make you have a good experience!! Thank you for the food and memories.

Lovely tasty home cooked Italian authentic food. Situated down one of the narrow alleyways, fantastic service and the star of the show is Mr Dominico who makes sure that you are well looked after, and is extremely attentive. Very proud of his food and the restaurant. Highly recommend. Open lunchtimes and evenings, great varied menu to choose from. We had the roast pork belly with apple and royal fish plate, delicious !!!

Excellent traditional homely restaurant. Feels very authentically Italian and not overly touristy. Despite not having many gluten free reviews the waiter was very knowledgeable, had multiple gluten free pastas available. Also brought hot gluten free bread in its own sealed bag, explaining clearly that this is to avoid cross contamination. Food was excellent, will definitely come back.

The sign outside this lovely establishment says “not a tourist trap” and “authentic”. They were absolutely right! The food was fabulous! The best tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella I have ever had! The service was top notch and we learned all about growing those tasty tomatoes. We will definitely return again before we leave!

Best food we’ve had in Sorrento to this point. Service was excellent. Our host knows his tomatoes!
