29/03/2025: For years I had been hearing good things about Fenestra Verde and finally I booked. It was an experience I had been missing. The location, former rooms belonging to the adjacent church, is magical, it has everything you could expect, it's like being in an upper-middle-class house from the beginning of the century, with old grit floors, Thonet chairs with super comfortable cushions, the fireplace on which some of the meats offered are cooked...just like at "home", in fact. The staff in the dining room deserves praise, attentive and discreet at the same time! There are typical traditional dishes, but also off-menu options explained verbally, the gem is that the menu is printed on paper with watercolor drawings, which I really appreciated. The wine list was well thought out, varied, with super honest prices. My husband and I shared their "7 bocconi" appetizer, the mezzaniello Lardiato and the duck breast. We don't joke about dessert and we each had one, their millefoglie and the cream and pine nut tart. All very good. If you are willing to socialize there will be plenty of opportunities both from the owner Guido, and his nephew Antonio (an expert in wines and more), and from the other guests present. Beautiful "Neapolitan living room" revisited in the suburbs. Thanks Fenesta Verde.

23/04/2025: FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!! Everyone, from the owner to the waiters, was impeccably kind and professional. Customer care, smiles, friendliness and ...SUPERLATIVE pizza, both normal and gluten-free. We felt truly pampered, even our daughter had a lot of fun looking at the many paintings and objects in the super-curated room down to the smallest details, and ate some delicious chicken strips. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! We will definitely be back ☺️

20/04/2025: They promise you a welcome prosecco and more to convince you. Then you have to remind them several times. A hair in the pizza dough on the cutting board (I have the photo) and they don't even apologize. You have to remind them that they should have brought other portions of chips that were included in the aperitif but that they don't bring until you remind them. Mediocre cutting boards in quality and quantity and finally they don't even give you a receipt. But how can you give them more than 2/3 stars? And the answer you gave with the insults inserted defines you even more.

Il proprietario Luigi una persona fantastica professionale mi ha accontentata in tutto ciò che gli ho chiesto, personale gentile e preparato.E sopratutto il cibo ottimo eccellente. I miei ospiti mi hanno fatto tutti i complimenti x come è andata laegiornata. Ci siamo sentiti a casa. Le sale pulite e confortevoli. Ci andremo sicuramente x un prossimo evento. Grazie mille Luigi.

20/04/2025: The gluten-free pizza I ate here is one of the best of my life! A dough cooked over a wood fire, crispy and soft, I wish I could go back. This restaurant seems to be an institution and we understand why. There is a large selection of gluten-free dishes. The prices are really fair.

09/09/2024: Sono stato di passaggio per un weekend a Palinuro e ho cenato con la mia famiglia in questo locale tipico del posto. L'ambiente è molto casereccio e il personale è accogliente. La cosa che ho apprezzato di più è la pizza che è una napoletana classica con un impasto molto buono e che mi ha riportato un pò indietro ai sapori della mia infanzia. Ci ritornerò sicuramente se dovessi ripassare per Palinuro

28/04/2025: I happened to find this cosy little place, and was very glad I did. The service was really welcoming, friendly and warm. The food itself was absolutely perfectly cooked - delicate, flavoursome and subtle. I had the chef’s started which were a selection of things that were not otherwise on the menu including an octopus soup and some of the freshest prawns I’ve eaten. I drank local wines including a delicious sparkling wine from Campania that’s the only wine in the region made using the Prosecco method. My main course was fried bacalla, which was flaky and moist and flavoursome. I really enjoyed this meal, I hope I can come back.

23/04/2025: We didn't think the food was great. Caesar salad was not tasty. The cod was fine with asparagus. Tasty house wine.
