I think it's practically impossible to write a negative review about this place. I've been coming here about every three or four months now and have never encountered anything less than impeccable service. Starting with the owner, who is incredibly kind and polite, the place is small, very quiet, and exudes a truly serene atmosphere. ALL the food is excellent and locally sourced. The pasta is made fresh that morning and all the dishes are cooked to order. The antipasto is exceptional; I probably ate the best salami I've ever eaten. The value for money is excellent, in fact, at times even too low for the experience. (The non-alcoholic entrée is a little gem, original and well-crafted.)

Homemade pasta with a sublime wild boar ragù and truly masterfully cooked marinated sausages. A must-visit. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable.

A gem among Benevento's restaurants. Excellent regional cuisine and a very friendly host. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time, otherwise we would have tried the desserts as well. Definitely next time.

A charming little place. The Boar himself welcomes you with his jovial and reassuring presence. We skipped the first courses, opting instead for his appetizer, followed by steak and sausage (the marinade was delicious), all wild boar, of course. Not to mention the fact that on a cold day, the place was well-heated—that almost never happens these days! Thanks for everything. We'll be back!

There aren't enough words to describe the culinary experience at this fantastic place. Nestled in a Benevento alley, this trattoria offers a small selection of seats, a rustic and relaxing atmosphere. The highlight? The owner, friendly and truly up to par with his cuisine. Locally sourced dishes, including cured meats, cheeses, meats, wine, and olive oil. We came home feeling "full" and "so very" satisfied. We'll be back soon!! Thank you, thank you, thank you 😍

Trusting Antonio for lunch and dinner is a satisfying experience. Typical meat-based specialties based on wild boar, delicious starters, local hams and those made by them. The restaurant is a bit 1980s style, all in wood, but you eat very well and you pay the right price. Bravo Antonio
