I recently visited the Galiero pastry shop on Corso Secondigliano in Naples and had the opportunity to taste one of their most exquisite creations: the "Lemon Delight." The choice of this cake was suggested by the Galiero staff themselves, specifically Marianna, who assessed my needs and assured me it would be a winning choice. She couldn't have been more right! The "Lemon Delight" is a light and fluffy cake, with a perfect balance between the sweetness and tartness of the lemon. The lemon cream was perfectly crafted, with an intense and fresh flavor that doesn't overpower the other ingredients. The cake base is soft and slightly crunchy, which adds an interesting touch of texture. The presentation is equally impeccable, with a simple yet elegant decoration that demonstrates the quality of the ingredients used. In short, the "Delizia al Limone" cake from Pasticceria Galiero is a true delight for the palate. If you're looking for a fresh and delicious cake, don't hesitate to try this creation. 11/09/2025: People who leave very positive reviews evidently haven't had the chance to appreciate the founders' management. The flavor of the crocchettone of the past (you could have eaten 3 or 4 on your own and they'd leave you with a memory that made you anxiously await the next opportunity), at least for what happened to us, hasn't been reflected in the dishes at all. The ones we've eaten recently (we haven't been there in about 4 years) are a bland copy of the previous ones, a "base" that needs to be heavily stuffed to contain the flavor, and the breading, once deliciously chunky, crunchy, and rustic, is now just a veil of fine grains. It may have been a coincidence, but the "pure" ones we ordered didn't even have mozzarella inside. What can I say? We just got it on one night, didn't we? However, hearing the opinions of acquaintances on the matter, I find it hard to believe.

13/08/2025: Enchanting place! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with kindness and professionalism. The eggplant parmigiana... simply amazing: authentic flavor, generous portions, and an aroma that captivates from the first bite. The facility is impeccable, spotlessly clean, and meticulously maintained. We immediately felt at ease. We'll definitely be back!

11/08/2025: A STATELY experience! Everything is a work of art: from the renovated 19th-century farmhouse to the chef's dishes and the estate's wines (special mention for the Falanghina sparkling wine); from the kindness of Anna, Valerio, Mara, and the entire staff, to the pool, suitable even for the littlest ones (our daughter, under two, had a blast thanks to the 10-centimeter-high edge, allowing her to move freely). Even our cattle dog was pampered and welcomed into the shaded pool on the last day. Congratulations 🍾

16/09/2025: Good dishes for both a casual lunch or a work break away from the usual food hassle. Over time, they've improved the quality of the ingredients used, and it shows on the palate. I highly recommend stopping by for a taste. Prices are reasonable.

21/09/2025: I love italian pastries. during my trip to Italy I've tried them in Naples, Sorrento, Vico Equense and at Ciotola. Ciotola is a must stop if you are passing this way. Beautiful shop and the most amazing variety. Wish I had them in the U.S.

22/09/2025: We had dinner at La Rondinella this evening, guided partly by reviews and partly by intuition, and I have to say it was a wonderful dinner, with those simple flavors that linger. We wanted a good first course, and the pasta and potatoes with seafood was sublime, not to mention the Ischian-style rabbit...an island specialty that deserves to be tried here! What can I say...we'll be back in Ischia and will definitely stop by again to enjoy these delicious specialties!! Highly recommended! 😉

13/09/2025: The location is beautiful to say the least, the starters are nothing exceptional, although in the meat menu I find Cantabrian anchovies, which are out of place in my opinion. With the meat menu, the Prussian beef is good but the Chianina is tough and dry, I expected more. My rating is 3 for the food and 10 for the location.

12/09/2025: [Restaurant only] This evening I went to Don Salvatore, a very refined place perfect for a date. The two of us had two appetizers and two meat-based main courses (really good), and the quality/price ratio was excellent. Highly recommended.

15/10/2025: Fantastic experience! The place is very elegant, as are the waiters. As for the food, I recommend the tasting menu for €70 per person: 4 appetizers, 2 first courses, fried fish, and dessert. Among the appetizers, the cod and octopus were exceptional, the sautéed lupini beans, and the fried cannoli with ricotta and shrimp were very good. The first courses were divine, but if I had to find a flaw, the fried fish wasn't exceptional. The millefeuille was exceptional, with a delicious diplomat cream. The only complaint was that we often ran out of water at the table. Other than that, the service was impeccable. I recommend the valet service; the guy is very friendly and helpful, and the price is lower than what you'd pay at a regular parking lot.

Even though I hadn't booked, the staff (very courteous and welcoming) immediately made themselves available to find accommodations. The room was well-finished, with a beautiful view, a very large bathroom, and everything was very clean. I highly recommend it. Thanks again.

21/10/2025: Even though we live in Naples, which is very close by, we chose this farmhouse for a three-day escape from work and routine, with our three-year-old daughter. We based our choice solely on the photos, the presence of an on-site restaurant, and the space for our daughter to play. A fortunately successful choice. The staff was kind and helpful.
