20/12/2025: I had an absolutely unforgettable dining experience at La Tagliata in Positano. From the moment we arrived, the warm, family-style atmosphere made us feel genuinely welcomed. Every dish was bursting with flavor, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and served in generous portions. The pastas and meats were cooked to perfection, showcasing true traditional Italian cooking at its finest. The service was friendly and attentive, making the experience feel personal and relaxed rather than rushed. To top it all off, the panoramic views of the Amalfi Coast added a magical touch to an already exceptional meal. La Tagliata is a must-visit for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable Italian dining experience.

03/11/2025: Regarding the restaurant: Overall, we had a pleasant evening, which was somewhat marred by several issues as the meal progressed. We used the complimentary shuttle and were driven to the restaurant. The appetizers, drinks, and bread arrived promptly. We finished everything, and the next course was brought immediately. Since I'm vegetarian, my husband and I had separate courses. Again, we finished everything and were satisfied. Then came the main course—a huge meat platter (at least five pieces) for my husband and a single piece of grilled cheese for me. Since I was already full, I definitely didn't want any more, but I would have appreciated a price adjustment, as we were both paying €60 per person. When we asked the waiter to slow down a bit, he immediately brought the desserts. We waited a while to eat again, but then the waiter came and said the shuttle would be back in 10 minutes and that he would prefer to pay everything in cash. We ordered espressos, which came in plastic cups, and tried to eat as much dessert as possible. We placed the money on the table in cash, which he took without a word or thank you. Since we were there in early November, we unfortunately couldn't see the view because it was dark. The food itself was good, typical Italian home cooking. The meat was dry and tasteless. The service was always attentive and friendly. For a €120 menu, I would have liked more than 90 minutes.

The impeccable service, the attentive and courteous staff, and the chef's presence—worthy of a Michelin star—made the evening unforgettable. Furthermore, since it was my birthday, the staff was kind enough to provide me with a candle to blow out: a simple gesture yet full of thoughtfulness and kindness, which made the moment even more special. If we really had to find a small flaw, we'd say that the restaurant's aesthetic doesn't quite live up to the extraordinary cuisine, and the difficulty in finding parking might put off the more impatient. But once you're seated at the table, all that fades into the background: what remains is a taste experience that tugs at the heartstrings.

08/10/2025: The food and atmosphere were great. We had a great time, and the staff were attentive. We went for the tasting menu (with wine pairing), and we only wish for better communication of both the dishes and the wines - most of the time we basically guessed what the dishes were, and had no idea what the wines were. I would recommend having cards or bringing bottles to show guests for a more refined (and informed) experience.

21/10/2025: We were Francesco's guests to celebrate my son's baptism. The estate is beyond enchanting and evocative, especially at night with its lights. The aperitif was truly plentiful and delicious. Dinner amazed us all because every course was cooked to perfection. I'm writing this review, but during the ceremony they really did a great job of promoting themselves because all the guests were so impressed and delighted with the food. Highly recommended.

Beyond the undeniable beauty of the view of Vico Equense, with Mount Vesuvius dominating the horizon, I was struck by the sophistication of the new restyling. Being our guests on the very opening day allowed us to appreciate the freshness of a space curated with great aesthetic intelligence: the interiors don't simply host guests, but interact with the exterior. The color choices, ranging from vibrant lemon tones to deep navy blues, are a classy tribute to the colors of the Amalfi Coast, while the table setting (with custom ceramics and Cerasè-branded details) demonstrates a strong stylistic focus, with small touches of style that convey a sense of thoughtfulness and attention to the restaurant's identity. Completing the atmosphere was a soft and perfectly fitting background music: the notes of Pino Daniele, Enzo Avitabile, and that signature Neapolitan sound accompanied the lunch with great pleasure, creating a refined mood without ever overwhelming the conversation. The welcome was the added bonus: the owner is a delightful person, extremely approachable and helpful, and made us feel right at home. Special mention goes to the waiter: extremely friendly, attentive, and never intrusive. Regarding the food, there's nothing wrong with it: everything is seafood-based, incredibly fresh, and cooked with respect for the ingredients. The bill was fair, especially considering the quality offered and such a refined location. An experience that pleases the eyes and the palate. Highly recommended for those seeking beauty and substance.

04/11/2025: The food is well prepared, everything is tasty. The service leaves much to be desired. There are always no drinks at the table, with bottles in plain sight. They even took away my unfinished pizza, even though I was sitting down and answering the phone. Apart from a few wobbly tables, everything else is fine.

28/09/2025: We stopped by this place by chance, and it's definitely worth a second visit to enjoy at least one of the tasting menus. The quality of our food was excellent, but what surprised me most was the chef's courtesy. Even though I didn't order an appetizer, in addition to the welcome sample, he still brought me a small appetizer. And since I'm lactose intolerant, he made a dessert especially for me, not forgetting a small one for my companion as well. I understand the name chosen for this place even better.
