21/06/2025: We returned a few days later, this time to try the meat. What can I say! The meat was exquisite, we took a trip around the world and a slice of beef with truffle. From the first bite we saw stars! Flavors paired perfectly, tasty and perfectly cooked meat. The truffle on that meat was truly a touch of class 😋. We have been coming back for a few years now and we are never disappointed! Highly recommended for both pizza and meat.

14/06/2025: It was a fantastic experience! The pizzas had a good dough (not too thin and not too crunchy) with a set of unique flavors that combined together created the perfect assortment. Very kind and attentive staff and very clean environment. Fast service. Nothing to say. Delicious pizzas (Angus and Silana pizza).

03/06/2025: Absolutely perfect! From appetizer to dessert, service and atmosphere... It's the right place to have lunch on hot summer days, on that welcoming terrace.. The appetizer is worth all its reputation, offering various typical Calabrian products and is very very rich.. as is the mixed second course.. The first courses are also excellent but not in large quantities.. Highly recommended

30/05/2025: Ci si ritorna sempre con immenso piacere in questo posto del cuore per ristorare anima e palato. Si raggiunge comodamente, a sette chilometri dall’uscita A2 di Altilia, salendo verso Martirano. L’accoglienza è affidata a Massimiliano che ci fa sentire subito a casa, in cucina invece la moglie a la mamma, instancabile cuoca di questa osteria sin dagli anni 60. I piatti proposti seguono la stagione, raccontano il territorio e sono preparati con passione usando per lo più verdure, ortaggi e carni allevate in azienda. Dopo il ricco antipasto casereccio pieno di leccornie, consiglio le pappardelle con funghi porcini e salsiccia o condite con sugo di soppressata e olive o, ancora, con il ragù di maiale ed a seguire le ottime carni, dal pollo arrosto con patate, al coniglio alla cacciatora, agnello al forno o trippa. In questo periodo anche le fave fresche con la cotica. Si finisce con i dolcetti della casa e si innaffia con un gradevolissimo rosso sfuso delle loro vigne (gaglioppo e greco nero). Nella nella stagione si può gustare il pranzo nella veranda con affaccio sulla valle. Per un pranzo completo non si superano i 25/30 euro. Tappa che vale il viaggio!

10/06/2025: Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem Lokal mit kalabresischer Küche zum Mittagessen und haben durch Zufall das Rau‘ gefunden. Das Lokal ist im 1. Stock , durch einen Treppenaufgang nach einem Torbogen rechts hinauf zu erreichen. Das Konzept ist „Menu Buffet“ für insgesamt 13€ pro Person ( 1 Flasche Mineralwasser prickelnd oder still inkludiert). Das Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich ! Es gibt Vorspeisen und 4 Hauptspeisen, alles war sehr köstlich und frisch gekocht ! Auch für Gemüseliebhaber ist viel dabei bzw. für Vegetarier. Eine Empfehlung für große Esser oder Reisende mit kleiner Geldbörse !

17/06/2025: The food is excellent. Friendly staff. Good service. The environment is rather bare, but the goodness of the dishes makes up for it very well. The roads to reach the restaurant, coming from outside, are a little complicated and tortuous. But it is worth facing them to eat well.

14/01/2025: Among the pizzerias in Catanzaro Lido, in my opinion "Pizza e Sfizi" is the best. A plus point is that even the next day, reheated in a pan, it remains tasty and pleasant to eat, without losing consistency or freshness. Perfect both for a quick meal and for storing and enjoying later. Last but not least, the staff is really friendly. The only flaw: the place is very small.

22/06/2025: Unfortunately, my experience at this pizzeria was disappointing. I had ordered the "patate silane con peccia", but I received simple thin and crunchy chips - completely different from what you would expect from the description, and with no indication that they were actually another product. The breaded mozzarella balls were another big disappointment: they seemed like a low-quality frozen product, among the worst I have ever tasted. Nothing to do with something fresh or well-cooked. Also, I had left a specific note to receive two sachets of mayonnaise instead of the mayonnaise/ketchup mix, but the request was completely ignored. A small detail, but it shows poor customer care. Too bad, because I had much better expectations. I hope they improve the quality and care in the service. At least they were quick in the delivery..

19/05/2025: Se ci fermiamo qui è solo per una brevissima sosta caffè o orzo e nulla più, i prezzi sono eccessivi e il personale è sempre un tantino scocciato. Purtroppo la scelta all'interno del contro commerciale è molto limitata.

Quality raw materials and well prepared. Environment suitable for all ages. External parking in front of the restaurant, very large and free. Very recommended. Honest prices
