Sincere compliments also to the kitchen: the menu was impeccable, with attention to every detail, and truly appreciated by everyone. It was an unforgettable birthday, filled with deep, intense, and meaningful emotions. Expectations were fully met, indeed exceeded, and for this reason, our impression can only be extremely positive. 15/02/2026: Surrounded by greenery and featuring a beautiful open-air pool, we chose Tenuta Gironda for a family Sunday lunch, and it was the perfect choice. The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We felt truly pampered! We'll definitely be back.

23/05/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great find! I stopped by this pastry shop and had a pistachio granita with brioche: absolutely amazing. The granita tasted like real pistachios, not the artificial kind, and the brioche was soft and fresh, perfect. The place is quiet, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is super relaxed. Will definitely be back, highly recommended!

01/05/2026: An enchanting place, where it truly feels like stepping into a fairytale. The owner is an extraordinary person: kind, patient, cultured, and always available to listen. Her hospitality goes far beyond expectations and helps make the experience even more special. We enjoyed dishes prepared with local, genuine, and visibly organic products, which authentically reflect the region. Making everything even more magical was the easy access to a nearby waterfall: a peaceful haven surrounded by greenery, capable of instilling a profound sense of tranquility. Our dog was also welcomed with great care, making us feel truly at home. It's the ideal place to unwind from the daily grind and rediscover simplicity and authenticity. A precious place precisely because it's genuine. We will definitely return soon.

03/07/2026: The rooms have been beautifully renovated and the furnishings are in excellent condition. The location is fantastic, with cool breezes in the summer, and it's quiet and peaceful. The owners and their families are friendly, and the cuisine is excellent, using locally sourced ingredients at reasonable prices. We can't wait to return.

05/06/2026: I'd heard good things about this place and went with my family for lunch on a weekday just to avoid the crowds. Even though the place was partially full, it was a real hubbub; we couldn't even talk to each other. The appetizers were greasy and tasteless, the entrees were sticky and left whole, and the bill was steep. The only redeeming factor was the very friendly staff.

20/06/2026: I wasn't expecting much, but this pizzeria pleasantly surprised me. We happened to order calzones, which were very good and really well-stuffed with ham, and the price was only €2.50.

21/05/2026: An unassuming pizzeria that only locals seem to know. In my opinion, the pizza is very good and generous. Prices are reasonable, with a bottle of Calabrian wine at 12 euros. We've been twice. The owner is a nice guy.

17/08/2026: The hotel is located less than a kilometer from the Salerno-Reggio Calabria highway, about an hour from Villa San Giovanni. It's the ideal place to spend a night before taking the ferry to Sicily or immediately after taking the ferry back to Calabria. The restaurant is excellent, with very good seafood dishes. Excellent value for money. Last-minute reservations are also possible.

16/08/2026: We stayed at this hotel for a week and I can say I really enjoyed it. The staff is very friendly and quick to resolve any issues, especially Mr. Santo, a delightful person and always very helpful. The food in the restaurant is quite good, and breakfast, while not particularly varied, offers good products. I definitely recommend it and will return.
