17/03/2024: I was deeply disappointed by the culinary experience at the seafood restaurant L'OASI. Ordering the seafood risotto, I expected to be transported by an explosion of marine flavours, but instead I found myself floating in a sea of disappointment. The dish was more like a regular risotto than an authentic seafood delight, with so little seafood I could count it on one hand. It is clear that the place relies more on its name than on the quality of the dishes it offers. I can't help but highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and fulfilling dining experience.

18/02/2024: We didn't stay overnight in this hotel, but we had a wonderful lunch in the restaurant. We were expertly recommended by the very kind room manager. The fish is very fresh and the cuisine is simple, but really tasty! We will definitely be back.

10/02/2024: I don't frequent Falerna Marina very much, occasionally passing by I stop for a break, as I have done for almost 50 years, when there was the similar Bar Vittoria in Nicastro, famous for its pastries and ice creams.
In 50 years it has always been pleasant to stop for a break and 50 years have passed with waiters and cashiers.
The 5 stars and the few minutes I spent for this review give honor to an institution in Falerna Marina. In fact, I read the negative reviews that preceded me and it is right to show the true face of this place. The arguments, the style of presentation and the number of reviews represent the user who publishes a review; assuming that I have a problem, I resolve the problem in a civil way: immediately, by exposing the complaints, explaining that the criticism is the disappointment serves to improve and increase the quality.
A bar that is still there after 50 years, always full of customers, with many positive reviews for a reason!!
Specifically, yesterday morning I stopped with a dear friend to have a coffee together. I noticed that it had been renovated, the staff was very courteous, the coffee was fabulous: a truly exceptional cream.
In short: congratulations and honor to an exceptional historian from Falerna Marina.

)..Risposta...Innanzitutto...non c'era motivo di offesa, visto il tono scherzoso della recensione, l' aggettivo scritto con ironia, viene di norma utilizzato in maniera scherzosa come battuta...evidentemente , comprensibile , la recensione negativa del cibo, aggiungiamo, il pane servito a suo tempo...assolutamente immangiabile...( tenuto conto che il pane calabrese da forno a legna est Optimus...e nel vicino Conad...trovate ottimo pane diversificato,integrale pure imbustato est Optimus...)... semmai(...Grazie pure a questo Governo attuale.. ci saranno ..in più milioni di italiani che non potranno permettersi il lusso neanche di andare " al Conad"... forse " alla " Caritas... e qui c'è poco da scherzare😥)...la critica ha solo lo scopo...di migliorare il Vs menu con prodotti di qualità...con un occhio al prezzo....in ogni caso...Buon Lavoro!!!.ad Majora..Ah?..vi raccomandiamo caldamente...quando siete alla guida di qualsiasi mezzo in movimento...di dimenticarvi e di NON UTILIZZARE il cellulare per nessun motivo...semmai fermatevi... 29/11/2023: Ho assaporato una esperienza culinaria veramente nuova in Calabria. Il tartufo non è solo in Piemonte, ma viene declinato nelle varie portate in maniera sapiente e creativa.
Locale accogliente, abbellito da una mostra di utensili contadini antichi. Personale cortese e gentile. Da ripetere.
27/11/2023: IL PRANZO SUBLIME!! Per gli amanti del tartufo non esiste posto migliore: quantità, grande qualità e i sapienti consigli del signor Annibale per vivere e gustare un pranzo indimenticabile!! Ogni parola è superflua, il tartufo migliore che abbia mai mangiato! Rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale! Ci torneremo sicuramente!!!

09/08/2023: In vacanza in questo tratto di costa una sera vengo colto dalla curiosita’ davanti al ristorante. Tante auto parcheggiate innanzi ma la sala antistante la strada totalmente vuota. Entro e mi conducono in un grazioso e fresco giardino interno. Per metterli alla prova ordino grigliata di carne essendo localita’ marina. Mi arriva un piatto lunghissimo e stretto con il classico trittico maiale manzo e salsiccia rossa che ho scoperto essere la normalita’ regionale. Carne buona solo il manzo un pizzichino non tenerissimo ma nel complesso tutto ok.
Personale davvero gentile.
Anche qui come in tutta la Calabria non conoscono il caffe’ al vetro e quando lo chiedi vanno in tilt….. ma prontamente suggerisco di portarlo in bicchierino per l’amaro e mi arriva in un minibicchierino lillipuzziano ma direi all’altezza. Nel complesso bravi. Non do il massimo dei voti per il manzo non tenerissimo ma ci tornerei a cenare con piacere

Hotel Ristorante L'Avvenire

04/12/2023: Worst experience ever with a hotel. 30th October 2021: I made a reservation in this hotel using Booking at 21:54 and the reservation was confirmed. The checkin time was until 00:00 and I arrived at 23:15 to the hotel. Nobody was there, I was calling and writting to the hotel, no answer. I contacted Booking, they could also not contact the hotel. After a lot of time and calls, Booking looked for another hotel for me, with all the process and waiting times, I was at the end at 2:00 A.M. in bed in other hotel (a day after driving 300 Km and I should drive 500 Km the next day), the other hotel was 20 Km far away.
2 days after this bad experience, I contacted Booking for a reclamation and they told me that the checkin time appears until 23:00 in the system!! I was wondering and I checked again in my confirmation's email: yes, I confirmed that check in should be until 00:00 and not until 23:00 as they meant. then I requested Booking to review when they added/changed this new checkin time... and surprise!!! They changed it 1 DAY AFTER MY RESERVATION, for avoiding my reclamation. They never answered my calls, my messages, no sorry, no explanation,.. nothing. I can proof all this feedback. Ah, and I tried to make a bad rate and Booking meant, that I can't, BECAUSE I WAS NOT SLEEPING THERE. Of course I could not sleep there since nobody was there waiting for me, even if I was 45 mins before checkin end time... but this situation was extremly annoying and unfair... and the hotel instead telling just "I am sorry", trying to hide it. This cheekiness was for free for them!!!
