19/11/2025: Went for dinner with a friend Welcoming, clean place, delightful staff. Excellent express dishes. I had sautéed chicory and a carbonara, both truly delicious. The wait time between ordering and serving was reasonable because the dishes were cooked to order. Recommended

16/02/2026: I stayed at Agriturismo E Turre and it was a truly unique experience. A special place where authenticity and tradition reign supreme in every detail. The cuisine is extraordinary: traditional dishes, prepared with locally sourced produce grown and processed directly by the farm. Authentic and intense flavors that are truly rare today. Without a doubt, one of the best agriturismos in Calabria. The rooms are welcoming, well-kept, and comfortable. The hospitality is impeccable: the warmth, attentiveness, and helpfulness make you feel instantly at home. Furthermore, the location is strategic: perfect for easily reaching some of the region's most beautiful tourist destinations, from the crystal-clear sea of ​​Tropea and Pizzo to the mountains and breathtaking landscapes of the Sila National Park. A place I highly recommend to anyone seeking relaxation, good food, and authenticity. I will definitely return!

24/02/2026: I visited Trinken Haus in Catanzaro Lido and had a very positive experience. The place has a welcoming Bavarian beer hall-style atmosphere, perfect for an evening with friends or as a couple. The menu is varied, with a good selection of sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, and traditional German dishes, as well as a wide selection of beers. The food is good and the portions are generous. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only small point that could be improved is that service can be a bit slow during busy periods. Overall, I recommend it: good value and a pleasant atmosphere. I'll gladly return!

13/10/2025: Hospitable owner; we were the only ones there on a Monday afternoon, but we were made very welcome. Excellent food, in the style of home cooking, as the owner calls it. Simple and effective. You can also buy light bulbs here, copy them, and much more. A friendly establishment!

16/08/2025: Perfect breakfast! Thanks to a special deal with B&B House 146, I had breakfast here at 6:30: one of the very few cafés open that early. Excellent cappuccino and freshly baked croissant, as well as the saccottino. Truly kind and welcoming staff. Recommended!

16/03/2026: You're immediately welcomed into a welcoming, clean, and very pleasant atmosphere, with extremely helpful and friendly staff. There's also a quieter, more private area with a fireplace, creating a warmer, more inviting atmosphere. The pizzas are undoubtedly the best in the area; from traditional to more sophisticated, each one is better than the last. The restaurant dishes are also worth trying: delicious flavors with many local specialties, both meat and fish. Highly recommended.

08/02/2026: It was my first time eating pizza there, and I have to say it was truly delicious. We went with a friend and my brother and spent a relaxing evening enjoying delicious pizza and a delicious dessert. Kudos also to the friendly and helpful staff, something you shouldn't take for granted.

27/01/2026: Terrible experience. After being seated, we waited a long time without receiving any attention: not even a bottle of water. Meanwhile, tables that had arrived clearly after us had ordered and were already eating. We tried to get the staff's attention, but to no avail or explanation. In the end, we left without eating. Totally disorganized service with little respect for the customer. We won't be returning.

24/03/2026: It's a simple place with great opportunity to try some real local cuisine without fanfare or ceremony. (And for great prices) If that's what you're after, you'll enjoy it jist like the locals do.

15/03/2026: A good trattoria with fast service and decent quality. It's a bit lacking in cleanliness; there are a few things that could use some attention, such as the chairs and the oil cruet on the table, which were obviously greasy due to infrequent cleaning. On Sundays, it's best to book. The set menus with a choice of courses from the Sunday menu have a €5 surcharge.

22/08/2025: I went back to Calabria for the holidays and never would I have ever thought to find such a cosy and good restaurant!! The ambiance is an italian’s old traditional tavern, which I immediately loved, but revisited to the modern days (for example, they made a beautiful terrace outside to eat and enjoy the hot summer temperatures). The food is really good, and the quantities of the plates are very very copious! I loved the Antipasto, rich of food from the area, like “Anduja”, and delicious chickpeas, beans and parmigiano di melanzana! But what’s more delightful are the Arancini! I asked and they told me they are homemade. I regret not asking for the recipe ahahah My friend took a Panino Inferno and it was huge! He couldn’t finish it, so everyone took a piece and tried it: it’s a 10 out of 10. The bread is made in the pizza’s oven, and the ingredients mix so well together. I don’t really like spicy things but Anduja made me change completely idea. It was the first time trying it and I loved the taste. The service was fast and super excellent. Chef Laura tried all the way to communicate with me even though I only spoke english, and this was very kind of her. Unfortunately I didn’t take any picture because we were too amazed.. but next time we will, for sure! I would highly recommend this restaurant, for foreigners and for locals too. Don’t forget to support small activities like this, and don’t underestimate them, because they will surprise you, just like La Taverna dei 7 Peccato did to me.
