12/07/2025: Small bar - gelateria - with terrace on the side of the road - quite nice - smiling waitress - choice of ice creams 👍🏼 - various croissants and muffins - paninis etc - they have green tea (which is rare in Italy 😂😂😂) fair price - what is annoying is that you have to pay at the cash register - and I waited 35 minutes in line to pay 😔😔

11/07/2025: Delicious Gelato!! Very kind service and the people’s working in the Gelateria are so sweet! I highly recommend Cruncy Amarena and Nutella Fiordilatte - It’s amazing!

03/07/2025: We ate a hot and cold appetizer, I would say, fantastic... then tagliolini with creamy lobster and half a sublime lobster... And a fried calamari and shrimp of extreme freshness... the staff were very qualified and friendly, a restaurant that is absolutely worth a visit, I highly recommend it

The location is simply enchanting, with a breathtaking view of the sea that made our day even more special. The entire staff was impeccable, from the preparation to the realization of the event. They were attentive to every detail, always available and ready to satisfy our every request. A special thanks goes to the staff for their flexibility and professionalism. Due to bad weather, we had to change the plans for the ceremony at the last minute and move it indoors. The staff was impeccable in managing this sudden change, ensuring that everything was perfect in the indoor room. Their ability to adapt and attention to detail made our wedding a success, even in the face of unforeseen circumstances. The food was delicious, with carefully prepared and high-quality dishes. Our guests were as enthusiastic as we were. Baia dell'Est is a magical place that we highly recommend to all couples who want an unforgettable wedding. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for making our day so perfect!

23/06/2025: We had dinner last night, 4 adults and 2 children, delicious fish dishes, both the first courses and the fried food. The owner was very friendly right from the start and also helped us choose the wine, very knowledgeable. The employees were also impeccable and very kind. We will definitely be back. For the quality and quantity of food, the price is more than fair. TOP!!

Alta Marea is a simple yet well-kept place, perfect for those who want to enjoy excellent seafood in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is kind, helpful, and very attentive. One detail worth mentioning: they also speak German, which makes things easier for those who don’t speak Italian. I chose the “trenette con calamari al pesto— a truly delicious dish: well-cooked, with fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. The menu offers a variety of seafood options, all interesting and fairly priced. Recommended for anyone looking for genuine seafood cuisine, without unnecessary frills but full of substance. I’ll gladly come back!

14/05/2025: Great place to relax and unwind, the owner is available and takes great care of this place. Surrounded by olive trees and various plantations, the owner has lovely dogs and there are also chickens. The place is consistent with the description. I will definitely return to this place if I have the opportunity.

12/06/2025: A place with a great view of the port. Friendly and professional waiters. Spaghetti with anchovies, truly the best. Maybe the grilled vegetables could be a little less soft. Prices a little above the local average but acceptable

10/06/2025: The restaurant is located in front of the port of Catanzaro, not too characteristic considering the area seems more for conventions. In itself elegant and chic the restaurant also maintains a fairly high style in the dishes. We are a group, some take the raw fish, some take the octopus, some take the tuna steak, the cooked appetizer. The fish is fresh, beautiful to look at, good to taste. The parsley potatoes for their apparent simplicity are exquisite. With wine, some fruit and coffee we spend about €40 per person, average prices. Service a bit slow, but the guys are polite and courteous.

10/05/2025: There were errors in the order and the dishes arrived in no particular order. Very long waiting times even when the restaurant was almost empty. However, the quality of the products is good and the prices are consistent with what we got. I recommend coming early if you don't want to wait forever.
