26/12/2025: A very beautiful and charming place. I had a Christmas Eve aperitif here: really good pizza and an excellent selection of cured meats and cheeses. The only downside is that the music is a bit too loud, making it difficult to talk. Overall, however, a very positive experience; I recommend it.

01/05/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at the Pino Loricato restaurant, and I can say without hesitation that it was a truly excellent culinary experience. From the start, you could sense the attention to quality and tradition: the house antipasto was rich, varied, and made with authentic ingredients, all fresh and flavorful, fully showcasing the local flavors. The first courses were the real highlight: the "Pino Loricato" pasta was balanced, tasty, and well-crafted, while the pasta with mushrooms and sausage won over with its intensity and quality of ingredients, a perfect blend of rustic flavors and meticulous preparation. The use of high-quality ingredients and a cuisine that respects tradition without sacrificing precision are clearly evident. The mixed grill was simply excellent: tender, well-cooked, and flavorful meat, served in generous and satisfying portions. Here, too, great attention to the quality of the ingredients is evident. Another aspect worth highlighting is the excellent value for money. The prices are more than fair, especially considering the overall quality of the food. Finally, the service was impeccable: the staff was courteous, attentive, and always available, making guests feel at ease at all times. An absolutely positive experience from every perspective. I will definitely be back.

04/05/2026: We went specifically for the pasta corte d'Assise, as it had been recommended as the best in the area. Excellent dish and generous portions. We only had the pasta, along with water, wine, and coffee. It cost €40 for two.

Safe and Sound is one of those places that doesn't just aim to "satisfy your hunger quickly," but to give you the feeling that someone has really thought about what you're eating. The atmosphere is modern, clean, and relaxing. The pace is right. And above all: you can sense a focus on quality without flaunting it. The dishes arrive balanced, beautifully plated, without heavy or redundant execution. Here, the focus is on clean flavors, clarity of ingredients, and an approach that respects what you eat without overdoing it. And this is a rare commodity at lunch. The service was one of the most convincing points: helpful, quick when needed, but also very accommodating to specific requests. This isn't a given at lunchtime, where many places cut back on attention to detail. If I had to point out room for improvement (for cognitive honesty, not destructive criticism): some dishes could be a little more daring in their aromatic layering. There's no need for radical changes, just that final "click" that makes a dish memorable even in the memory. Overall, Safe and Sound is a place well worth a lunch break in Catanzaro Lido: solid, clean, well-managed, with a contemporary identity. And with a little more attention to the fine sensory details... it could become one of those places you'd recommend without even having to argue.

04/09/2025: What can I say? While I was looking for a place to eat fish and chips because my partner is English, I stumbled upon this little gem. The place is delightful, the music is great, the food is delicious, and the food is truly beautifully presented. Mediterranean flavors revisited in an innovative way. A wonderful surprise. We come to Catanzaro every year, and we'll definitely be back; it'll be one of our favorite destinations. Thank you so much!

22/04/2026: It's been years since I've eaten such a tender and flavorful fillet. When they brought my plate, I could smell the intense aroma of grilled meat. Overall, the ingredients seem excellent quality, the service is quick and courteous, and the atmosphere is welcoming with a rustic touch.

24/05/2026: My wife and I were occasionally passing through Belvedere, where we were staying overnight, and the B&B host recommended this restaurant. It was 10:30 PM on a midweek evening in April, so not a very busy time. Nevertheless, we received attentive and attentive service from kind people who were concerned about making us feel comfortable. The food was very good, honest, fresh, without gimmicks or deception. The seafood salad was very fresh, without vinegar (which usually serves to cover up imperfections), with an unmistakable seafood flavor, excellent. The tuna steak was very well cooked, all washed down with an excellent wine at a very reasonable price. Calypso is one of those rare places where you find meaning among the people who work there, the pride and self-esteem in wanting to offer something good. We returned the next day, bringing friends with us and also trying the first courses... everything was very good! Well done!!

28/05/2026: The hotel is located 1 km from the train station and the beach, with sunbeds available for €5. The rooms are impeccably clean. Breakfast is typically Italian, with coffee and sweets, some cold cuts and eggs. I recommend the hotel, although if you're staying off-season, the pool is closed and they don't provide transportation to the beach.

03/05/2026: We used this hotel as part of an organized trip. The staff were extremely friendly. The welcome was excellent, as was the food. The unexpected and very welcome surprise was the traditional dinner featuring Calabrian dishes. It was, without exaggeration, a 14-meter buffet filled with every delicacy. LONG LIVE CALABRIA AND LONG LIVE HOTEL CALABRISELLA. Greetings to Carlo and his Argentinian colleagues, who, with their smiles, accommodated all our requests.
