20/09/2025: We had a wonderful meal, the staff were very kind and friendly. The atmosphere was very clean, and it was truly a pleasant experience.

10/09/2025: Vacation for a large family of 7. We went for dinner and came back the next day for lunch. The best fried seafood I've ever had. And then... let's talk about the delicious fried calzone!!! And the first courses were delicious too.

25/10/2025: My girlfriend and I had a lovely evening at Ristorante Collemare. We received a warm welcome. Unfortunately, since the end of October is the end of the season, they ran out of pizza. Instead, we both had a delicious pasta dish with fish. Compliments to the chef. The tiramisu was homemade and we absolutely loved it. We would come back anytime.

I have an 8-year-old with a gluten allergy, and we asked if there was anything wrong with it, and they were super kind enough to make us food especially for him (gluten-free) without thinking twice. My son never eats everything, but here nothing could stop him 😂🤣😂. Anyway, for those with problems like me, this place is highly recommended. Many thanks to the owners.

01/10/2025: Spectacular, wonderful, fabulous ice cream in a dream location, the owner is very nice and very welcoming. At Christmas I will definitely order the ice cream. We stayed for a week and always came to him for breakfast and dinner. Thanks guys.

30/09/2025: A high-quality coffee and ice cream shop in the old town of Amantea, with a delightful sea view. Wide variety of coffees (the pistachio and hazelnut ones we tried were truly delicious), ice creams, and desserts (including the signature bocconotto, a must-try). Friendly staff.

14/10/2025: If you want to eat well but don't have much time, you've found the right place. High-quality rotisserie and traditional cuisine. Need some advice? Try the Sicilian Pidoni, the arancini, and, during this time of year, the rice salad. Then there's the lasagna, which is fabulous. Also try the stew.

06/09/2025: I was truly impressed by this restaurant, which I discovered by chance and is located 200 meters from the hotel. The fish is exceptionally fresh, and you can taste the high-quality ingredients. Every dish I tried was cooked to perfection, enhancing the flavor of the fish without overpowering it. The service also deserves special mention: the staff was friendly and attentive to our every need, making the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat good fish in a welcoming atmosphere. Thank you, we'll be back.

19/08/2025: Terrible. We waited two hours for a pizza. The staff was arrogant. For the wait and the pizza, which wasn't that great, we even paid a high bill. Definitely won't be returning.

11/09/2025: A beautiful location, the staff were very kind and helpful, and the manager was equally polite, but unlike the rest of the staff, he was dressed like he was running a beach club—jeans and a t-shirt. The fried fish was delicious, and the quality of the fish was absolutely top-notch. The flaws I found, however, were: the menu was awful, a photocopy in a crumpled plastic bag; the homemade pasta had nothing to do with seafood; and the price was exorbitant for the quality of the food. A light appetizer of fried fish, one of baby octopus and one of calamari, a first course each, a bottle of Librandi rosé, and a dessert each—naturally, a bottle and a coffee—for a total of €140 for two. If I had paid €80, it would have been fair; €140, I honestly wouldn't go back.

The raw fish is highly recommended. The prices are absolutely in line with the quality and dishes served. Well done!

06/10/2025: The reviews are unanimous: the bistro in question is a respectable, if not brilliant, benchmark in the (meager) culinary scene of the historic center. One could honestly say that the place has potential, but it's untapped. However, it's inevitable that the enthusiasm for this "shop" also reveals a lack of commitment to excellence, a sign that has been seen very rarely. The real problem, what is professionally unspeakable and what seems to be a sadly widespread trend in the city, lies in the superficial and sloppy way the place presents itself to customers. Guests are welcomed into a barely presentable outdoor area, a precarious and dilapidated shack. This space, patched up with plastic sheeting, makeshift overhead trellises that serve as tie-rods, and adorned with withered plants, is not only unsightly, but culminates in a niche of smelly garbage cans. This unpresentability isn't a detail: it's the symptom of a profound lack of care and respect for the customer and the public space. Perhaps spoiled by diners who are silent and almost blind to this context, they limit themselves to extolling the cuisine at the expense of the service, understood as the result of all interactions, including the decor and the outdoor setting, considering it a completely marginal element. This creates a cultural paradox: people are willing to turn a blind eye to where they eat a meal to enjoy culinary excellence. The fundamental concept remains unchanged: how you appear, you are. As far as I'm concerned, even the most modest trattoria should demonstrate care for its exterior, be tidy and welcoming. Focusing solely on the cuisine is a mistake that perpetuates the culture of sloppiness and fails to sublimate into the attention to detail that reflects respect for the customer. Until even the diner demands service that embraces decorum and respect for aesthetics, we will continue to celebrate bland excellence, because quality cannot and should not be limited to the dish; it must encompass every aspect of commercial and civic interaction.

27/09/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at Cannarutia, and the experience exceeded my expectations! I've rarely found such high-quality cuisine and service that makes you feel truly at home. Its immediately striking strength is the incredibly kind staff. From the moment we arrived, they were smiling, attentive, and ready to accommodate our every request with admirable availability. Their thoughtfulness made the entire evening relaxing and enjoyable. But what makes this restaurant a true gem is its inclusive cuisine, especially for those with specific dietary needs. Since my wife is gluten-intolerant, finding VALUABLE and non-trivial options is often a challenge, but here the gluten-free selection is vast, creative, and top-notch. I was able to choose from appetizers, first courses, pizza, and desserts without having to sacrifice flavor or fear cross-contamination. This level of attention and care for intolerant diners deserves special praise: the ability to enjoy a complete and delicious dinner in complete safety is a huge added value. The dishes were exquisite, prepared with fresh ingredients and carefully presented. From the first course to the last, you could feel Chef Ernesto's passion and mastery. La Cannarutia is a must-visit. If you're looking for a place where hospitality is genuine and the food quality is excellent, with attention to everyone's needs (especially the gluten-free options), you won't be disappointed! Highly recommended!

30/08/2025: A recent discovery for me, but a pleasant surprise. My wife also enjoyed it, and in many ways it's a place we go to eat often, not just for special occasions... well done for the menu and the availability.
