It's been years since I've eaten such a tender and flavorful fillet. When they brought my plate, I could smell the intense aroma of grilled meat. Overall, the ingredients seem excellent quality, the service is quick and courteous, and the atmosphere is welcoming with a rustic touch.

Everything was ruined by the behavior of the waiters who brought your dishes before you even finished your meal and generally showed you that you were not so welcome because we were foreigners.

The dish I ordered was excellent... Angus Florentine steak aged for 45 days €160 for 2...

I went to Cantina del Macellaio in Gioiosa with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was a bit disappointing. We waited about 20 minutes just to order. The waiter who took our order seemed rather confused and unprepared; he didn't recommend anything in particular and seemed inexperienced or at least misplaced. After about 15 minutes, the first appetizer arrived, but then we had to wait another 45 minutes for the second appetizer and the meat. Only later did we discover that the waiter who took our order hadn't recorded our order correctly. After a second waiter intervened, the meat arrived about an hour later, but in the meantime, the appetizer plates were only removed once the meat was served. The meat itself was good and tender, but unfortunately, the flavor was ruined by the excessively spicy ingredients, almost to the point of being overly salty. Personally, I'd recommend serving it plain, leaving the spices on the side so each customer can season it to their own taste. The bill was discounted for the poor service, which was certainly appreciated, but overall, the experience didn't convince me, and I honestly don't think I'd return.

Excellent food! I recommend the tasting menu featuring three types of roast meat with varying aging times. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and even friendly. The maître d', Mimmo, is very courteous and an excellent sommelier...and also happy to chat!

Great place, Despite the language barrier, the staff rose to the occasion. The steak was excellent, and the help with choosing the wine was also excellent. I highly recommend it 🥰❤️
