30/08/2025: A recent discovery for me, but a pleasant surprise. My wife also enjoyed it, and in many ways it's a place we go to eat often, not just for special occasions... well done for the menu and the availability.

It's a very special fusion that perfectly mixes oriental flavors with Italian ones, obtaining an extraordinary result. Every bite is a pure experience and an explosion of taste and flavors, the attention to detail and quality make it light years ahead of the normal Japanese ones you find around. The slightly higher than average prices are fully justified because here you don't just come to eat but to discover and be excited... The kindness, sweetness, thoughtfulness, professionalism and preparation of the owner then make the evening unforgettable... All in an elegant yet warm and welcoming environment... Highly recommended!

14/07/2025: The food was excellent; there wasn't a thing I didn't like. The service was equally as good; the staff were there, attentive but not intrusive... always friendly. Kudos to the organization and timing of the dishes; everything was perfect. I highly recommend trying it to believe it. The flavors were delicious and the ingredients were of high quality. Kudos to the chef and all the staff.

14/07/2025: Clean and welcoming place, located in the open countryside where you can spend a peaceful evening. The waiters were very kind, polite and above all welcoming. The dinner was delicious, from the starter to the first and second courses. I tried the new menu, the dishes were beautiful, I recommend them, they are delicious, 10 out of 10.

10/07/2025: Excellent pizza, 10 out of 10, they also make bread with pizza dough which is a delight, the cuisine and appetizers are also a delight, I recommend it........

25/08/2025: Had dinner at the end of October 2025. Excellent pinsa, exquisite staff (super professional waiter), in the center of San Demetrio. If you don't try this place, you're missing out. A piece of Calabria to treasure in your heart. I returned in August 2025 and can say with absolute certainty that the place and the products have even improved. Great Bakero!!!

27/07/2025: First of all, the place is super clean, making it a pleasure to walk in and dine. The staff is courteous, friendly, and professional. I enjoyed delicious gelato and a brioche here.

29/07/2025: Beautiful place and good food! Friendly and courteous, it was definitely a lovely evening. The waiters were able to give us excellent advice. We had an appetizer, and that was already enough, very generous and varied, with fried foods, cured meats, and cheeses. Afterwards, we had small samples of other dishes, fried and baked, to share, from rabbit to stuffed peppers, stuffed eggplant, and croquettes... a little bit of everything, washed down with good wine. The appetizer is especially recommended.

28/08/2025: Friendly staff, finally smiling, excellent food, beautiful beachfront location. I'd add just 50g of pasta to the starters and you're the best (but that's purely subjective), in fact I still gave everything 5 stars.

26/08/2025: A beautiful place where you can admire a beautiful sunset. There's a certain pressure to order without even having time to sit down. The spaghetti with clams and the grilled fish are good. The portions are decidedly small. The prices are high (after all, if you charge €12 for spaghetti without sauce for a 5-year-old, imagine the change). The service is terrible. If I point out that you're clearing away the plates and bread without even finishing, you can't tell me that this way you'll finish your work faster. What a shame.

14/08/2025: We ordered four first courses. The pasta was good, and the guanciale was tasty, but one of the four courses, with anchovies, was too salty, almost inedible. I was told it was due to the saltiness of the anchovies. We weren't offered an alternative, and at the end of the meal, the bill wasn't adjusted downwards. It's a shame, a missed opportunity to upgrade. We obviously won't be returning to this restaurant.

02/09/2025: I had dinner with friends. I had the carpaccio and tartare appetizer. Delicious. Then I chose the duck, which also turned out to be an excellent choice. The Florentine steak my friends had was tender and good quality. The pecorino fondue was also very enjoyable!

01/09/2025: We visited this restaurant after reading excellent reviews, but unfortunately, we weren't entirely satisfied. The place was okay, with no outside seating and friendly service, but the food wasn't what we expected... the first courses weren't bad in terms of flavor despite the overcooked pasta, but the second courses could have been better plated. In my case, the duck breast with berries and bitter cape amaro wasn't as flavorful as the meat, which was also tough. The roast potatoes were good. The place was okay, but not as exceptional as described.
