19/01/2025: At the end of a busy day at work we decided to taste a pizza at Al Ritrovo in Trebisacce. Super happy. Well done everyone, starting with Oste Giovanni. kind, efficient and super practical. The pizza... very good.

09/04/2025: Servizio scarso, antipasto di bassa qualità con un pezzetto di tonno grigliato della seppia con un pesto che non sapeva né di basilico né di rucola e ne di pistacchio, cameriere che ha fatto confusione con l’ordine portando un’altra pietanza che non abbiamo ordinato e si ostinava dicendo di averla ordinata, per finire ci siamo ritrovati sul conto 2 caffè che non abbiamo né ordinato né consumato, conto alto per la qualità. La ristorazione è ben altro. Lo sconsiglio, se vi trovate nei pressi del ristorante andate un po’ più avanti che troverete dei ristoranti migliori

Al suo interno è possibile trovare dolci di ogni tipo tutti personalmente preparati dal pasticciere Rosario Carpinelli, forte di anni di esperienza nel campo. I cornetti sono di produzione propria, sempre gustosi e fragranti, ottimo il caffè. Mi sento di fare menzione particolare per i gelati dal gusto sempre eccezionale e le torte, squisite. Inoltre per i più curiosi è possibile assaporare dolci più elaborati e raffinati del solito che portano la firma stessa del pasticciere, vere occasioni da non perdere. Il locale ha un'atmosfera rilassante e confortevole. Consigliatissimo!

23/12/2024: One of the best pastry shops in the Tirreno-Reggio area. Excellent cakes and superb ice cream. Upon reservation, gluten-free cakes with the same taste as those with gluten are available.

10/02/2025: Had a super delicious fresh pizza (choice from the board on the wall). There are four tables to sit at. Hostess is very helpful and nice.

13/01/2025: A large variety of fresh fish is available every day at more than reasonable prices. Staff always friendly and helpful. I haven't tasted their cuisine yet but the appearance and aroma of the dishes are very inviting.

02/03/2025: We went for a family lunch one day in January. The family that owns the restaurant welcomed us very warmly, very friendly and took great care of us and our baby. The food was wonderful, from the starter, main course, house wine, dessert (homemade almond flour cookies, if I'm not mistaken) and a digestive. The fireplace was on and the atmosphere was very cozy. Highly recommended.

30/03/2025: We enjoyed our planned menu Saturday night 3/29. It was a three course meal with dessert. The seafood salad was delicious and fresh! The Pasta first was really flavorful and perfect portion size. The second dish was a true gift wrapped in cooking plastic to hold all the flavors or a spectacular piece of swordfish! It was so flavorful from the first bite to last. Desert choices were hard to pick one but the Tiramisu was perfect. Umberto and his team did a great job and will go back again when we visit Tropea!

30/03/2025: Very good pizza, pinsa, and pasta in the center of Tropea. Special praise for the extensive wine list. Large garden, but unfortunately it was too wet and cold during our visit. Very friendly service. We'd love to come back!
